This is the most pleasant place I've ever done laundry. It is always clean, soothing background music, never had to wait for a machine and my clothes come out clean. I usually can do 2 weeks worth of laundry for $20 ( I always pay for the extra long wash). read more

It's a nice set up. however I went to see if they could do my laundry for me once the guy said they no do Dat. Secound time I asked, woman said $ 68.00 for one load. Wow. they raised there prices higher than any place else I know of by at least 2.00 a load.. read more

In a world where everyone is cheating everyone else, this place is no different. They went from 40 minute wash times down to 14 minutes for their washing machines. Nine dollars for 14 minutes of wash time. I'm never coming back. read more

I must be totally out of the loop when it comes to dry cleaners. I had purchased curtain panels at a thrift store, and wanted to have them cleaned before hanging them. She quoted me a price of TWENTY EIGHT DOLLARS ($28!) -- For EACH PANEL!! Of course I didn't go for that. I'll be checking prices in other towns, but if everywhere I check charges this much to clean lined polyester curtains, I'll be WASHING them -- at Home. read more

This laundromat is kept clean, even the soap area dispenser. I've been here twice, well maintained. The washers are $8.00, I do find this high. Four washers four dryers costed $20 dollars. There are baskets with rollers to help transport heavy hampers. There are picnic/waiting tables outside. read more

They did an amazing job on my comforter , well worth the price, and it didn't take long.

Took one dress to the Happy Family dry cleaners and my charge was $21.49. There were buttons on my dress but they did not take them off which was fine, but I can't believe the price I had to pay! read more

Extremely clean. Can get busy but there are enough washers and dryers for everyone. Has seating and vending machines. A quality establishment not to pricy either. read more

I had the misfortune of using a washing machine that was apparently sabotage by young children, cramming, dimes and nickels into it. My eyesight's not the best I was putting quarters in it to try to use it then it kept my money and wouldn't keep going and the female that was attending there was absolutely disgusting! She was hollering at me, insisting I put the dimes and nickels in there although I had already sorted out all my change before setting foot in the place! this female was loud and rude in front of all the other patron she's hollering at me and telling me how to work the machines as if I'm a kindergarten that doesn't have a clue she was so condescending. I asked her to leave me alone, get away from me and she wouldn't she kept coming back at me wanting me to tell her how much they owe me. I just wanted her to get away from me, furthermore she's doing her cleaning or whatever with what appears to be latex gloves when I asked her if they were latex gloves, she just acted real ridiculous and condescending about my anaphylactic allergies to latex. I will never set foot in there again so far since coming from Orlando, Florida, I found everybody to be Uber nice everywhere until I walked into that laundromat.!!!!! read more

Expensive. Machines need to be cleaned (black mold where you add the soap and musty smell). Shorter operating times on washers (for more $$$) and seem to use a lot less water than needed (these are recent changes). Super busy all the time. I have been a local customer for many years. A few years back I would have easily given 5 stars. Here lately it seems as if every time I go (twice a week) I have some kind of issue. It has become a toxic environment in general. The owners who were once welcoming and kind now both seem burned out after decades of this work and very overwhelmed with everything. Since our town only has two options and their laundromat is the nicest they seem to not value individual customer relations anymore. I am now willing to travel to see if I can find a better solution. Which will equal them losing several hundred dollars a month generated by my business as I wash clothes for my other family households as well. read more

Continously calling myself and my customer is absolute harassment after we both have asked you to leave us alone. read more

Happy Family Laundry - Laundry Services Near Me - Franklin, North Carolina

Some hikers and I were in town and needed to do our laundry so we walked to Happy Family Laundry(Franklin location) and did our laundry. Rosemary was working on sewing items and there were about 6 other people in there. None of us had masks-- it's so refreshing to see faces and people not believing all the hyped up mainstream media! The place seems very clean and Rosemary was very sweet and helpful! I love supporting small businesses especially family owned... I will definitely be back when I pass through on the Appalachian Trail! THANKS! We appreciate you and your business! read more

A bit pricey but we unexpectedly needed to do laundry while in the Otto, NC, area. Machines were all functioning and there were plenty of them. Location seems safe. read more

I received such thoughtful service as a first time customer! I drove from Highlands to Franklin to drop off a suit for alterations -- not only did they manage to complete the job ahead of schedule, when the owner called to let me know the suit was ready for pickup, she remembered I mentioned I lived in Highlands, and offered to send the suit back with an employee at their Highlands location so I could pick it up there, saving me a good hour's drive. Really impressed. read more

I have been nothing but pleased with Happy Family. I recently had a 9'X12' expensive wool rug cleaned by them and they did a phenomenal job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this well established local family business. They are a true gem in Franklin read more

Read carefully! Happy Family in Highlands, NC IS NOT a laundry/cleaners! It's a building for drop off. NO coin laundry and NO on site cleaning service. You drop off your laundry, they drive it 30 min away to Franklin where they actually do the work and then bring it back 30 min to Highlands. So, don't pack thinking you can wash your clothes or drop them off in the AM to pick up in the PM. Wont happen. Also, hours of operation are 9-4. read more

I've never been into a cleaner self laundry, next to the cleaners. Many sizes of washers and dryers, reasonable prices, friendly helpful staff. Thank you for providing this pleasant place to do laundry! read more

OK, I realize that a coin operated laundry is a coin operated laundry. This laundromat is ALWAYS spotlessly clean, there's ALWAYS machines available, and there's ALWAYS someone next door to help, if you need it. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Most of the laundromats that I have been to the talent scouts for Jerry Springer and Maury hang out there, and the restrooms are like crime scenes. It is a bit pricey, but then again, you get what you pay for. All the times I have been there, I have seen one machine out of order. read more

Horribly expensive, arrogant attitude, poor work. They do not follow instructions. Now going to Clayton for laundry services - a bit more trouble, but nicer staff and cheaper prices. read more

Laundry facility is clean, multiple machines which are in good shape, free wireless, soft music in the background, a bathroom in decent shape. Owners are usually next door in the dry cleaners and are helpful if there are issues. Pricier than other area laundromats we've tried, but worth it. read more

(Franklin location) I want to love this place and have been several times. Its clean (although machines have mold on the liquid dispenser containers) and friendly. But I was in shock yesterday when I did my laundry-- only one other person out of about 15 people there, had a mask on!! Kids, adults and even the male owner were without masks. And no one was even social distancing. I did not feel safe in there, which stinks because otherwise I like it and would want to continue supporting this family run business. read more

This was one of the biggest thrills! It is the cleanest laundromat I've ever seen, you could eat off the floors!! Lee, one of the managers, was an angel!! She went above and beyond to help with everything. All new machines. I'd pay $10 a load to go there! We wish them great success. read more

The rolling baskets are in good condition. There is lots of imported artwork on display. The wall clock is accurate.

its a very clean and welcoming place, where you can do your laundry read a book and listen to soft music, there's beautiful plants all around it's a very welcoming business run extremely efficiently and there are many sizes of washers able to handle a variety of load sizes from comforters to baby clothes, and the dryers are fast and efficient. you can even drop your laundry off and they will do it for you for a reasonable fee. Definitely the place I chose to go do laundry in A safe and friendly atmosphere read more

I used this place once, the coin laundry. Right off the bat the soap dispenser machine stole my money on the first try and did dispense my box of soap. When I went next door to find the attendant he gave me a new box, no problems. I asked if they had liquid soap since there was no option for liquid soap in the machine. He did then sell me 2 tide pods from behind the counter that he said they only provide as a courtesy for there customers, like I was lucky to get it. Then, when I washed my clothes the machine gives you an option at the beginning to purchase an extra rinse cycle, which I did. At the end of the wash, even with an " extra rinse" the soap had not dissolved in the applicator on top of the machine. When I went and got the attendant again asked to have the wash redone at there expense, since I had already paid for a service I did not receive. She was visually annoyed, even after seeing the proof of the extra rinse and the soap not dissolved. She said it should have been common since for me to some how automatically know that the applicator was garbage and I should put the pod inside with the load. Then she said I was the only to ever have a problem with that machine, yet when I went to get her she told me that that machine sometimes had bad water flow. Never have I seen such unprofessional equipment or service except for on t.v. But it was real life at "Happy cleaners and Happy Family" coin laundry in franklin North Carolina. read more

Despite the other comment. I suppose it might have just been the time I was there. But I thought the service was great. Quick and Easy.
