She quoted me a price of TWENTY EIGHT DOLLARS ($28!) -- For EACH PANEL!! Of course I didn't go for that. I'll be checking prices in other towns, but if everywhere I check charges this much to clean lined polyester curtains, I'll be WASHING them -- at Home.

He had several vests that he had taken in to have altered back in mid-May. After about two months of not hearing anything from her, he stopped by to check on them. She hadn't even started on them yet, and assured him she would start them the following Monday. Went back in today, now THREE months out, and they still had not been touched. He asked the clerk at the counter to just give him his vests back and he will be taking them elsewhere to have them altered. As he was walking back to the car, he passed the seamstress walking in. He mentioned to her that he was taking his vests since they still weren't done, and all she said was "sorry" and just kept walking. This is completely unacceptable. How much time can it possibly take to alter a few vests? How difficult would it be to contact your client and let them know you simply are not going to alter their clothing for whatever reason so they can at least get it done somewhere else? Be warned - if you are in need of a quick turnaround, you may not want to take a chance on this place.

I am not one to give bad reviews, unless its food. But for what I paid and for as long as it took I…read morefeel I must speak out. This was a very rare coat..in fact I bought the last one. I took it in to be tailored as it was a bit over sized. When told that wasn't something he wanted to tackle.. I asked to have a zipper installed as I am a disabled vet and had problems with the original snaps... long story short he removed my snaps (The zipper was behind so no need) installed fake "Rivets" and didn't even seat/secure them with a tool..just pushed them in "Plugged" the hole with them. Well I lost two of them the first night I wore it. I found them on the floor. I ordered a tool to see if I could seat them, but I bought cheap wrong dies that wouldn't work. The second night worn, the zipper tore loose from the hand stitch. All in all this was beyond a shoddy rushed job that I waited over a month for. I paid $200 for the coat and $150 for this "Work". I didn't take it back and complain, I figured this is the work they do and didn't want to wait weeks again to wear a football jacket when the season is about over. I know how to sew (Thanks grandma) so I will take the $150 loss and just do all the work all over myself. So maybe I got a bad day job, I don't know...but I am throwing this out there to all. If it happened to me with my prize item..I would think hard about giving them your item. I am adding pictures of rivet heads, holes in jacket and zipper and stitching.
