Pepper Steak with Onion; General Tso's Chicken; Black Pepper Chicken; egg rolls

For our first meal while starting our mini vacay in Tampa, we chose to order delivery from Happi Wok for lunch while doing absolutely nothing at the pool. When the food arrived, it was piping hot and the weight of the bag was close to 5 - 6 lbs. We ordered the pepper steak with onion, General Tso's chicken and black pepper chicken. Two with pork fried rice and the other with steamed rice. When it comes to ordering Chinese food from anywhere, most will be on a similar level in regards to taste, portion and value. Most is acceptable and "good". Happi Wok, though? Solid, solid Chinese food. The chunks of chicken were fresh and tasted like cubed-cut chicken from the bird. The veggies were crisp (carrots may have been a little al dente) and the sauces were well-balanced in flavor and sodium content. Aside from the carrots needing to be cooked a little longer, I would have also loved a little more black pepper on the chicken, but still...adequate. If we had Happi Wok in Wilmington, NC, it would probably be my new, first choice when ordering Chinese food. But they're here in Tampa instead and if you're from out of town, this place is a very nice option to order your quick and easy meal(s) from. SCORE: 4.5 STARS

HOT AND SPICY. Happi Wok know how to turn up the heat for the dish. I mean real heat in the spiciness. Other than than their regular American menu, the have the Chinese menu for the Szechuan cuisine. Szechuan people in China eat really hot food. If you don't know how to order from Chinese menu, bring a friend that can read this menu. I would recommend their beef noodle. This is best dish in this restaurant and it is dish no. 93 in the Chinese menu. It come with pickle veggie and cube beef. The soup base is a bit spicy but I think you can handle it. We have the red pepper chicken (no 14), the the husband and wife beef lung and tripe (no 44) and the sweet vinegar rib (no 40). I like the pepper chicken. Service is good. Food in good value. This is a gem for the Chinese USF student who live around there. If you want to try it out may be invite me.

i could sort of get how some people say food is underseasoned, but still yummy! just another style of cooking. always hits the spot. very nice staff. warm and welcoming

House fried rice and fried chicken.

Worst food I've ever had. Rice was dry and flavorless, the chicken had no flavor either. Did they even season anything? Waste of money.

Ginger fish dish off Mandarin menu and beef noodle soup off Mandarin menu

This is an unfancy strip mall Chinese place with tables if you want to eat in. The Chinese fare looks pretty standard apart from a special menu that's in Mandarin. I don't speak Mandarin or read it, so ordering off this menu was a challenge for me, but the dishes we had: ginger flounder, beef noodle soup and a pork belly dish were quite goo (pork belly is fatty as is to be expected..). This food was 4 star quite good and interesting but ordering would be a challenge unless you are with a Mandarin speaker and the decor and area are modest so I'm going with 4 stars. China Yuan or ABC Seafood nearby would are better for me.

chili chicken cube , Chinese menu #14

This place offers authentic spicy Sichuan Chinese cuisine. There are 111 dishes in the Chinese menu including stir fry meat, veget, fish , noodle, soup etc, price range from 7 to 11.50. So it's quite affordable. I ordered a chili chicken stir fry, a pork rib stir fry to go. 2 boxes of steam rice were included. The big fire stir fry aroma made the dishes smell so good. The chicken was so spicily delicious. The rib with potato tasted sweet and sour and was also very tasty. The portion was general . Anyone like spicy Chinese food will fall in love with their dishes. The sitting area wasn't fancy but look clean and organized. Service was friendly and fast.

My sister and I came from NYC to visit and travel in Tampa, we like this Chinese restaurant. Their food is tasty, and the people are very nice and friendly as well. We recommend this place

Yearly pilgrimage to Beijing House and it was as delicious as always…read more I put in the order at 12 pm online and it said it would be ready at 12:46 pm. They were right on the money, it was ready at 12:47 pm like magic. This time I got the spiced duck instead of the tea duck and I definitely prefer it. My younger son ate a ton so it's a must get. The beef and broccoli and the beef lo mein are both must gets. How do they make the beef so tender? We decided that although the sesame chicken is good, next year we'll try something else. It's fried chicken bites soaked in sauce. My husband liked the spring rolls and wonton soup. We bought an extra side of rice not realizing we'd get rice with the meat dishes so we ended with 3 cartons of rice. I tried the matcha oat milk slush. I love that it's topped with cheese foam. It would be ho hum without. It's on the sweeter side so I definitely need to be in the mood for a sweet drink if I get it again. Parking in the lot is plentiful. It was packed inside so on Christmas I definitely prefer to grab and go. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Since my last visit, it seems that the service quality has decreased a lot…read more We arrived with my partner when the restaurant was pretty empty. However, we were not seated after 5 minutes of waiting. We ordered dumplings, Dan Dan noodles and pork. The waiting to receive each of them was extremely long. We waited 20 minutes for the dumplings, extra 20 minutes for the pork, and extra 20 minutes for the noodles. It was terrible. The waitress never check on us. When we asked why our order was taking so long, she said she was going to check, but she did not. She just went inside and looked at her phone. The food is still delicious, but the service is terrible.
