Been coming to this place for the last 20+ years with my family, hasn't changed one bit, same great food and taste

Instead of the gravy that accompanies Shrimp Egg Foo Young I was given a disgustingly salty liquid that resembles a version of soy sauce gone wrong. It was also the most expensive Shrimps Egg Foo Young I've ever had (over $16) and they scrimped on the sauce in size and flavor. I also realized that the inflated cost covers the reusable bags that they provide. Customers are now acting as FREE walking advertisements when they're reuse these bags. The staff seems nice though, so for that I'll give them a star AND throw in a picture of what good Shrimp Egg Foo Young looks like (courtesy of China 1, off of N. Dale Mabry). read more

This man charged me $14 for Chef's Special orange beef. I got yellow rice with no beef in it. I also paid for a side of white rice, yet no white rice. This is literally scamming your customers. I just moved to the area and was hoping it would be our go to Chinese takeout. Never again here. Also, the man running cash register is not very friendly. Have ordered from this restaurant many times over the past few years and the food is phenomenal. Every time without a doubt it's of quality, blazing hot, and OF COURSE tasty! The prices and portions are very reasonable, service whether it's take out of delivery, is swift and more often quicker than expected. All of the staff are incredibly polite and kind. All of the food is amazing, have tried the roast pork egg rolls, house special fried rice, chicken lo mein, pork lo mein, lemon chicken, hot and sour soup, wonton soup, teriyaki chicken, Singapore mei fun, and Kung no chicken, Mongolian beef, JUST TO NAME A FEW! Tried this place after wanting too for some time. Was very disappointed. Got egg drop soup and chicken mei fun. Egg drop soup was tasting funny. Kinda like wine was in and took it as sour. Three that away. Tasted the mei fun and didn't have good flavor and after the soup I didn't want to trust that either and trashed it all. Won't come back again. Also the place smelled funny inside. Pretty tasty Chinese food. As a former New Yorker, I'm pretty picky about my Chinese food (almost as much as my pizza). I've ordered from this place a couple of times and I have not yet been disappointed. Service is fast and the staff is very friendly...a decent sized order literally takes 10 minutes. Prices are a wee bit higher than other places I have been, but really not bad. The lunch specials ($5.55) are huge and totally worth the price! Other options are comparable to other restaurants in regards to price and quality. This place is clean and well lit. It is located in the plaza that houses Winn Dixie and Happy Fish. Overall, I'd say give it a try if you're in the area looking for Chinese food. read more

This place is dirty. I don't think the floor has ever been moped. Rust tables and chairs. Chairs with holes in the covers. I ordered the beef low mean for lunch. the food was hot and there was plenty of it But not much flavor to it also the fried rice is more like yellow rice. I think cleaning the place would go A long way toward a better dining experience. There is really no excuse for that especially with covid going on. read more

My wife and I just moved to Tampa from Connecticut in March we've been trying to find a great Chinese takeout and have not been able to do so. But a good friend of ours told us about China Wok we tried it for the first time tonight and it's absolutely delicious and authentic we felt like we were back home in Connecticut I'm giving this restaurant a 5-star rating. read more

General Tso's Chicken. Great portion for $4.95 lunch special including a soda . Disappointed with the two pieces of broccoli and no spice at all but this is your standard Chinese fast food place. Cheaper than S Tampa prices. I will return when in the area and hungry. Would recommend. read more

Never had any complaints until my most recent order. Beef and broccoli gave me food poisoning. Other than that I haven't ever had a problem. But I wont be ordering any more chinese from them while I'm pregnant, seeing as how I crave my beef and broccoli. Guess I'll be cooking it myself for a while. read more

I would give it zero stars if I had the option. I called one night and the girl that answered the phone was very rude. When I got my food there was a big ball of hair in my food. That is very unsanitary and I will be calling the health department first thing Monday morning. read more

I ordered delivery from this place as I had done many times before. the delivery driver who delivered to my home the previous time came out again. the last time I ordered I noticed that he wrote down my security code on the back of my credit card. when I confronted him about it he pretended not to speak English. even though he was speaking just fine a minute ago. I wrote a note voicing my concerns to the manager who's names he did not know about it. when he came out to my house this time I voiced some concerns about letting him handle my card. After a brief conversation I said I will go get my card can you call your manager so that I can speak to them . I turn and I walk 5 steps and he gets in his car and drives away! I live on a small residential street where small children are constantly playing. and he pulled out of my street like a drag racer with no regard to anyone's safety. I immediately call the restaurant and they say that they are calling him to complete the delivery. after about 10 minutes he still had not returned. I call back they tell me that they are resending the order with a different driver. I tell them that I don't want that driver to come back to my house ever again. not more than 5 minutes after I get off the phone he pulls up. I tell him the same thing I told the owners/managers that he had better not ever come back to this house. He was extremely rude to me and continued to make excuses. the managers made 0 compensations for the driver and did nothing to apologize. their only suggestion about my concerns that the driver was potentially stealing my credit card info was to pay cash. these people obviously do not screen their employees. do not take the risk of a potential criminal coming to your home. I loved the food here but I will never order from them again. read more
