Nice people. Prompt, reasonable pricing, did the work when they said the would and workmanship was great. Very happy with them.

A professional business should not have to do something like that, she also told me that there were no such thing as a salt, free purifier and softener there was a reverse osmosis that some cases can work in general. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not refer this business. The product might be good but the people selling it or not.

i am a former employee of Aquascience I worked for the current owner, who has been the owner for…read moredecades., I was a technician that started out in the field at 21 years old. i came on board with no experience at all. I was lucky enough to know the owner's parents, and his Dad took me under his wing, and they insisted on me being nothing short of "Excellent". This is a business that cares, and they are understanding of people's needs, and their financial capabilities. I was always taught to excel, and learn . Being raised also to be your best, I got certified in being a Water Quality Association Certified Specialist, a Certified Salesman, and was a very efficient Installer. My call back record was like next to less than 2 % of every repair, install, service or troubleshooting call I performed. That was the type of knowledge and thoroughness that was expected, and I went on to learn in other areas of water, when i moved to other areas, such as Water well Drilling, Pump Service, Plumbing , Heating, Waste Water, and Appliances.- But my journey started and I built my foundation thanks to the Grandeau family, who treated me like their own. I can honestly say , 35 years later, that this company was the place that gave me the knowledge, the ability, the confidence, and a career in the Water Industry, and I remember many nights spent out at affilate groups, like the Orange County Association of realtors , and going to large functions to show the public who we were, and to invest our time in our community. I know that is who they are. I often think about Barry, and Pearl, who were Stephen's parents, and at one time, during my employment years, were involved in the business in their Southern Hudson Valley area. I learned to be confident team player, and to put the customer first. We were bound to ethical principles that I still adhere to today. I was welcome in Stephen's parent's home, and continued my relationship for most of the rest of their lives. I often would pick up a Professional Water Treatment Periodical at any stage of my own career, and see a showcase story on the amazing Education and Business Respect of Stephen Grandeau, who educated himself way beyond his usual scope of practice, so I bet if you would like to make Computer chips in your basement in your spare time, and need Dionized or water that leaves not a single micrometer of residue, water and Cooling tower treatment, he could even do that. You won't need that, but he could do that for you. Realistically, call Stephen up at AquaScience in Clifton Park, NY, and ask him how a water softener works. I promise you'll get a scientific lesson in Cation Exchange resin, water flow rates, and what most major brands of softener valves are capable of performing, and in what specific treatment needs . I guarantee you'll get taught information you'd need $850 a credit and acceptance to College to obtain. You'll probably make it to about the second minute when you decide that you only need to know that HE knows. You'll get much of the same from his employees, and I know because- I got my knowledge of Water Treatment there, and had customers tell ME I could stop my lesson in say , how chlorine has only 7 electrons in the outer ring, making it a great oxidizer, always looking to take on another electron.... LOL. See if you find THAT at a big box store, or I challenge you to show me ANY Big box store systems that last like the ones sold at Aquascience. I've pulled systems 35 years old, still working.. \ I think my point has been made. You can trust this business for your needs , whether you are in the Clifton park customer area, or in the Lower Hudson valley, where Laurie and Brian have worked for decades also. :-) Tim Kelly- Wappingers Falls, NY

In some cases, with some of other dishonest companies that want to take a large amount of your money without even doing adequate work, the comparison can be of Reimer being Angelic from heaven and those other businesses absolute hell. ELI and JORGE put in a new furnace. Couldn't believe how hard they worked! In a relatively small area in a walk-in closet(with other items stored),ELI had to himself lift the heavy new and old heaters for the job! They worked together, keeping my floors pristine. Got 0% financing on one of the best energy saving heaters available. When they answer the phone by,...how can we make you smile...", they really mean it and do everything to earn and bring you a huge smile. Thank you ELI, JORGE and all in Reimer!

There aren't words for how bad this nightmare has been. Bought a new boiler - full new system - in…read moreSept. for $19,100. The person who installed the new boiler apparently installed every single aspect incorrectly. He also barely spoke English and, when I asked why the new system didn't seem to work, he hopped in his orange truck and drove away. Just drove away. Didn't say goodbye, didn't even try to make it work. The wiring was wrong, all zones were set up incorrectly, main water valves were installed 'backward,' the plastic parts to keep the heat from going to every zone weren't installed, the pipes were installed far too close together to work correctly. The expansion tank was faulty and installed in the wrong spot, which could impact its ability to function. Outdoor exhaust pipes were supposed to be above snow level, for obvious reasons, but were installed very low. I also have a 3-story home, and the boiler apparently does not have the power to heat the third floor - something I of course wasn't told beforehand. My old boiler had no problem with that. But, okay, I'll hope heat rises. People who have tried to make it work since the stunningly bad installation include Elijah, Alex, Charlie, Ron, Charlie again, Ron again, Matt, Bruce, Elijah again, Brandon, Myles, Ron again, Ron again, Christian, Brandon again, Brandon again, and Fred. All together, there have been over 20 visits from Reimer since September - and I was traveling for nearly 2 months or it would no doubt have been more. This $19,100 boiler was very expensive, the Reimer salesman said, because it is such a quality product and they do a superior job. Turns out, one visiting tech then told me they don't install this type of boiler any more because they are terrible - something a tech should not tell a client, after the fact. Fred, a longtime and knowledgable technician, seems to have maybe fixed the problems, as the boiler has now worked for about 2 weeks. So, if you are forced to use Reimer - and I'd suggest major dental surgery would be far more fun and simple - ask for Fred only.
