Worse customer service ever. I bought an expensive washer and dryer from them. Now they are saying that maybe they were refurbished, I was never told that when I paid top dollar for them. They have sent out inexperienced service people several times to repair both units to the point that washer leaked and damaged my tile floor and cabinet. Then they come and say they have to take my matching washing machine to the shop to fix it and give me and old white top loading clunker. After weeks of waiting I call to follow up and play phone tag with them. I finally get a person that says oh ya lady, we can't fix your unit, but just keep that piece of junk we gave you??? Who does that? They do. Then that breaks and I call last week to have it repaired or removed and they have the nerve to tell me it's out of warranty. It never had a warranty and I never wanted it, I wanted my matching machine back to call a normal service company to fix. Then I call last week and am met with a rude repair person. He asks what do you want me to do? I tell him to either come and fix it or remove it from my home. He tells me that the owner is not in but will call me back. I get no return call Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. I call today and have the same conversation with a new even ruder person and he asks me what is he supposed to do? I tell him that the owner never called me back and he says he doesn't get that in the notes. I simply say well I left a message and need to speak with him and see if he is going to be professional and do the right thing. The guy proceeds to argue with me about them not wanting the machine and it not being worth fixing and simply says just come in and buy a new one? Why would I buy anything from them ever? I won't. I will also never have them repair anything. They drilled sheet metal screws into my stainless steel fridge and are such hackers. read more

Paid hundreds of dollars over the past few years having the washer and dryer I purchased from Hansens fixed over and over. Here we are again less than a year later and they want to charge me for labor again even when the parts they installed are still under warranty. Done with them. read more

I have lived in the neighborhood for 25 years and decided to use this repair business to keep my money local. their website said they sell parts for the do it yourselfer. Went in and was greeted by a nice elderly man dressed as the Maytag Repairman. He tried to show me new refrigerators while the counterman ignored me and was having an obviously personal conversation with a friend. He then asked the old man do YOU need anything?'. I spoke up and said I need a part and could I speak with a tech. The tech came up and told me that for $39 they would diagnose my fridge if I brought it in and for $100 they would come to the house. My research on the net told me the most likely problem was the evaporator fan and the LEAST likely, almost impossible, was the freon leaked out. Tech said it sounded to him like the freon leaked out and it could be $350 to fix. I asked about the evaporator fan and he said 'that would not be very likely'. Went home removed the evap fan and took it to another appliance dealer who tested it, said it is no good, and sole ma a new one for $39!! Put it in and Fixed!! I wold drive 100 miles to NOT deal with Hanson's. Don't let the quaint, old fashioned look fool you. These people are out for one thing....take as much money out of your pocket as possible. I would give NO STARS if possible. Danny Weil, Largo FL. read more

As others have noted, I also found this place to be a joke. Stopped by here to support local sales and was offered used washer and dryers at a premium price that the salesman had no idea about, not the year of manufacture of one or even the dimensions of them. He told me he has less expensive ones for sale and to follow him, he walked me out the door and into a fenced back yard with sea containers full of used washer and dryers. Not only was it a safety risk walking into a back lot for a women, then the appliances were not priced at the amount he had said. His dementia kicked in back there and he couldn't remember the price he quoted me while inside the store. Mr salesman tried to suck me in with the cost of a service call on washing machines starting at over $100, when theirs is only $69.00. I walked away a little richer from that confusing mess of a sales ploy. I will buy from a big box store before I go back there. I don't need an apology for your company's poor service. read more

I called to find out if they would buy my 3 year old washer that broke and the friendly knowledgeable gentleman that answered my call explained what was wrong with it and how it easily it could be fixed. They showed up the next day fixed my machine and saved me hundreds. I would highly recommend Hansen's. read more

this company sold us a fridge that keeps freezing up everything. i have now called 2 times for service calls. the first service call was preformed by Danny, who claimed it was all fixed, after the fact he forgot several items on my counter which got ruined. i called yesterday for another service call and was told b/t 11-1. 1:45 comes around no call or service call. Danny walks in and looks at the fridge opens the door and says ok if that doesn't work we will get u a new one. meanwhile i am loosing food due to this. i have called and spoke with a man named Fred and basically he told me i am screwed with my loss of money on food because its not his problem. wow what a great guy. so my advice is don't do business with these low life people, the appliances suck. read more

when I needed a new dishwasher, I tried buying from somewhere else(HD) but the salesman said i couldn't get it delivered and installed unless i could answer 10 questions about the plumbing and electricity. Well i didn't know the answer to two of them without hiring an electrician and a plumber. SO, I went to Hansen's picked the exact same brand and model of dishwasher. They delivered and installed a brand new dishwasher without any interrogating questions. I am Impressed that it took Only 15 minutes to walk in the door remove the old, install the new, test it, and instruct me how to use it. They are experts at installation. read more

So things started fine. We bought our washer and dryer there in Nov. 2014. They even replaced the start button on the washer before we took it home because it was acting up. Aside of the seal coming loose once in awhile, they worked fine. In Sept., while washing laundry, our washer locked and would not unlock and would not run. It would come on but would just stay locked and wouldn't start the cycle. We called and they came out. We supposedly had a 3 year warrenty on these machines. After an hour of tinkering, the tech said he was not sure what was wrong and thought it was the lock and that he would come that Thursday with a lock to replace it. Also said he would call my husband to set up a time. This was on a Tuesday. We never heard a thing. So Thursday afternoon, my husband called, asking where they were. They called us back and said that they would either come pick ours up Monday and bring us a loaner or we could bring ours to them and get a loaner because they wanted to be able to fix it in their store. We waited until Monday, the gentleman took our washer and brought no loaner. They apparently didn't tell him he was supposed to bring one. We got the loaner Tuesday. The loaner didn't work right either! It wouldn't go into spin cycle. That Friday, they called saying they wanted almost $300 to fix it because the computer was bad and there was a power surge at my house. I was standing there when it stopped and there was no power surge. We couldn't understand how the warrenty, which was supposed to cover all major parts, wouldn't cover the computer. We ended up telling them we would order our own part for $150. It's been over a week and they just brought ours back today....even though we were supposed to get it yesterday..but the delivery person said my husband didn't confirm the time, which he did. We just put the computer in and found out, it's not the computer, it's the door latch that's bad. Funny what happens when you run the diagnostic mode...that you can get off the internet.. read more

I couldn't have asked for better service on my Samsung refrigerator! These are polite, clean, honest, and most importantly knowledgable men! We won't ever call anyone else! read more

I got terrible service from Hansens. The appliances weren't repaired as agreed prior to delivery. They wer also deliveerd dirty. The delivery guy made a mess out of my newly painted condo and the fridge was set up crooked. I had to fix everything myself. I tried dealing with Hansen, but he refused to give me any kind of refund on the delivery and set up charge. Of course, i would never go back there. read more
