Even though she had a transport to and from UC Davis the day he needed to get back to the ranch, she kindly agreed to help me. She only had 24 hour notice and she stepped up. She came at exactly on time. She reported to me about his arrival. Hillary accommodates both local Santa Rosa transports and distance transports. For vet and physical therapy appointments, she drops and picks up for appointments, even around a one hour turnaround appointment. Her price does not change even on short notice appointments. I was about to buy a new truck and trailer. I have decided I can save the tens of thousands I would have invested and go with a pro. After you work with Hillary, you will feel the same way that I do. Our experience with Hansen's Horse Hauling was AMAZING! Hilary was extremely responsive and professional when we contacted her about our horse hauling needs. We set the date for the move of our precious little 4 year old horse from Chico to the Bay Area. On my 12 year old's birthday, she wanted to ride her pony on the beach with her best friend and friend's horse. Hillary transported the horses from Woodacre to Limintour Beach and she brought her own horse so she could act as a trail guide for the girls. Hilary is incredibly friendly, warm, and knowledgable about horses, and we all took an immediate liking to her (so much so that the girls jumped in her truck instead of riding with me). On the winding roads to Limintour, she drove incredibly carefully and safely with the precious cargo in her trailer and truck. Once at the beach, they had a wonderful ride and Hilary made sure the girls and horses were safe and happy. Hilary is equal parts professional and caring. It's important to me to have such a capable and compassionate person to trust. She was in constant contact before our move, during and after. She even sent photos to keep everyone updated. She was able to accommodate us at short notice and with extremely reasonable rates. Hilary is a super hero around my house today. I called her thinking it was a long shot that she'd be able to haul our herd of French Alpine dairy goats. She not only agreed enthusiastically and worked us into her schedule, she also made some modifications to her trailer to accommodate our sweet girls. Hilary is the best! Very skilled with all kinds off animals: horses, cows, goats, sheep, you name it. We work for a non-profit program for people with developmental disabilities, and they have two pet steers. The steers are tame-ish, but they badly needed their hooves trimmed and their shots updated. Hilary loaded them up in a very effective but low stress way, took them to a vet in a neighboring county who is equipped for cattle, got them treated, and happily returned - no problems at all, and the cows are very happy on their "new " feet. read more

Hilary picked up my new horse in Potter Valley and brought her safe and sound to Marin. I was a bit nervous as this was my first hauling job hired out, but talking with her I could tell she was a good person.
