The way my health insurance was I was going to have to pay for the initial consultation. This is at most a 15 minute conversation with the doctor. He wanted $270 for that conversation. I told them to shove their conversation up their colon. If you think that's reasonable you should check them out. If you think that is not, don't go there. Doctor's like this, in my opinion are the reason why health care costs are so crazy.

I spent three nights and four days in the hospital. The recovery was very painful and I had to have another surgery in February due to a suture that would not dissolve. I was out of work for over eight weeks. I have scars on my stomach. I asked that Dr. Mlot's insurance pay the resulting medical expenses. After months of my sending them information, they will not pay the medical expenses. Morally, this is reprehensible. I am retired and the mistake he made has caused financial hardship for my family. I gave one star only because zero is not an option.

Not once have the doctors or nurses said anything when I make it clear I will be out in the lobby all night. Then you're invited to come back in two days to read the x-rays. When you make a trip back then the sales pitch comes. $4000 or nothing. Sign up for the whole program or nothing. Just be aware, going here is like buying a used car. In the initial presentation you are told it'll be a couple hundred dollars a month. Sure if you use financing. The truth is they're trying to sell you a program upwards of $4000. You commit to multiple visits in signing one contract. I think I will stick to legit doctors who allow me to come one session at a time, and give me the freedom to cancel. This is so obviously about obtaining large sums of money upfront from each client.

I worked with Shannon to get the appointment set, as well as getting my ER records sent over. Upon arrival, I was checked in with ease. As I was filling out paperwork, I was called back. QUICK! I met with Connie, who was welcoming and checked vitals, went over medical history, etc. I met with Dee Cottrell-PA a few minutes later. Again, all very quick! She was warm, kind, and had a great bedside manner. She was thorough and walked through what I had going on, without seeming to be in a hurry, or rushing me. She was detailed and even used diagrams to show me what was going on in my stomach. We have a game plan, and I am thrilled to have this practice on my team to get my gut well! It should also be said that the office is gorgeous. It was a nice waiting area, very clean, and aesthetically pleasing inside and on the outside.

When I explained my situation, Dr. Ibegbu did not dismiss me as a simple IBS case. Rather than shoving a prescription and diet plan down my throat, Dr. Ibegbu scheduled a colonoscopy and endoscopy. For procedures, clients drive out to Kingston which is a clean and calm environment. My veins are a pain to hit and they didn't make me feel guilty when they had to sit with me while my body adjusted. When my results were clean, Dr. Ibegbu decided there were two more tests he wanted to run. After a SmartPill and an additional test, Dr. Ibegbu was able to tell me what was wrong and what his staff would do to make it better utilizing retraining and therapy. Dr. Ibegbu provided my data in comparison to the "average" to show me what my body was doing incorrectly. After 5 years of being in and out of medical facilities, Dr. Ibegbu was able to figure everything out in less than 4 months! I am grateful for the changes I have experienced in my health with Dr. Ibegbu's care! I have never had any issues with the staff in Dr. Ibegbu's office. The ladies have always been extremely sweet and reassuring during my visits. While the procedures are done in Kingston, the tests and therapy are done in the Jacksonville office by the ladies. They never make you feel uncomfortable and are willing to answer even the silliest of questions. The waiting area is small and there is occasionally an extended wait to see Dr. Ibegu; however, he does procedures every day in Kingston and then drives to Jacksonville to see clients. The staff works long hours to provide care to people like me and I appreciate their efficiency! Appointments are easily available because they try to accommodate multiple people.

Who do I talk to regarding reimbursment for the PREP supplies? the staff was courteous and didn't offer an explanation as to them performing this procedure TWICE before...I assume we must educate ourselves prior to this procedure when dealing with an assembly line oriented facility.
