Our tour guide was Avery and he was fantastic! From the middle that we stepped out to take a picture in front of the cave until we exited through the gift shop. It was a great experience. We walked through places in the cave that were noted in the adventures of Tom Sawyer, and through the cave history, including the thousands of signatures in the cave. We also participated in 15 through a pay dirt bag. This space is grade for all ages, and they have ample souvenirs. In the gift shop. We even visited the winery across the street. We look forward to potentially camping there in the future.

From the moment we stepped inside, our guide Ella was gneiss as can be, sharing tons of history without taking it for granite. The winding passages are truly stalagmite-ic (okay, maybe just stunning!), and exploring the very place that inspired Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn totally rocked our world. It's a cave-in-your-plans kind of attraction--don't skip the gift shop either, it's a gem. We had a sedimentary sort of day just soaking it all in, but honestly, it was ore-inspiring from start to finish. Five out of five stars, we will never chalk this up to a bad experience! I do recommend pants and closed toe shoes if you are on the colder side.

Toured both caves. The Mark Twin and the Cameron caves The Cameron was cool. Very natural no electric, they gave you a flashlight to see the sights. I would say it's an all in one stop. There is maybe* five feet between campers with absolutely no privacy or peace and quiet. You can hear everything the people next to you have to say even at normal speaking volume. It's loud, campers/RVs and loud trucks coming and going all day everyday. And the campers sites are right on the road maybe 3-4 feet off the road. This is a glorified parking lot for people that want to go do stuff all day and come back and sleep for a night and take off again. If you're looking for a place to park for the night this is it, if you want to camp and enjoy nature it's not.

I was able to peek into other rooms available and there were many we wouldn't mind staying at again. We adored that each floor had a coffee table with an assortment of options. Outside of each floor was a basket of potential forgotten beauty items, such as a toothbrush or toothpaste. Always a nice touch. Downstairs had a snack and drink nook that was available at all hours. Each room had a different theme along with additional amenities, like fuzzy robes and beauty necessities. With all that being said, we only had one night away as a couple and would've loved to have enjoyed the peace and quiet, but the room next to us was rented to a younger couple with two small children. We listened to them cry about bedtime routines and were then awoken before 7am to more tears and sadness. I am well aware as a parent myself, that children are just that. Maybe the B&B should've considered renting a separate room to these guests, possibly on a different floor/adjacent space, considering we were the only two guests checked for the one evening. We were told not to worry about noise, because you couldn't hear a thing in between rooms. This was definitely not the case. We went down for breakfast at 8:30 only to be sat waiting with the young toddlers and their behavior all around the dining room. I now completely understand why other B&B's we've stayed at before have a 'no children' policy. We were expecting, from the reviews, an amazing breakfast, not two burnt pancakes with one strawberry and a handful of blueberries, served an hour past the breakfast time. Interesting stay...

I would give zero stars. well its a motel. but there are holes in the bed linens and blanets. a…read morehole in the blinds. the rooms are not kept with AC on at all with a window unit in the middle of the summer it was so hot. we did not end up spending the night here. thank god! rooms are way overpriced as well. we were desperate for 1 night. and ended up leaving. I left with bites on me. Bed bugs?! I dont know for sure. but I had bites on my legs! It was a horrible experience. I do think the owners were very nice and helpful. but this place is scary and gross I would not reccomend at all.

The work I was learning and doing had me fully exhausted, so I was very grateful to be staying right there in the Alfred Lamb room. I needed my rest, and I slept like a rock in my beautifully appointed - yet very comfortable - room. This was my first trip of the COVID era, and I was very appreciative of the thought and effort given to everyone's safety. Breakfasts were out of this world. Pat also prepared lunch daily for our class, and I don't know how she does it. She's an excellent cook, and her creativity really shines. The Yapps are wonderful people, and I miss their sweet dogs, George and Gomer, already. I loved everything about my visit, and hope to return someday!
