Decided to check out "Hanna Haunted Acres" last minute on Friday Evening and were not disappointed. We bought tickets online for all the haunted attractions (6 total) for $45 a person. I was so surprised with how well done each haunted house was. All of the actors were scary and good at what they do, but if they saw a little kid that was really scared they wouldn't try to scare them, very respectful! My favorite was the haunted corn maze, I was screaming, laughing and running, very well done. They also have food and drinks for sale, but I didn't try any of the food because it wasn't very "gluten free friendly", but it looked really good. There's also an add on ($8) where you can go through a special haunted house with a hood over your head and apparently you get shocked, dirty, wet and smell different things. Talk about a scary sensory experience, not sure if that's my thing, but a cool attraction. Highly recommend checking this place out for your next fun filled night. read more

I am frustrated with my family's experience at the park this past weekend. I purchased tickets online for my son and my brother to go in and enjoy the attractions. I am the money ags of the operation, so I paid, and then sent each person his electronic ticket. I didn't hear from my child all night. My brother reported to me that he had been having trouble getting in to the attractions, so he went to the ticket booth. & they gave him a paper ticket. His ticket worked after that. At the end of the evening, I found out from my son that he had trouble getting IN on the hayride. The people taking tickets said his ticket didn't work. Rather than treating him like they did my brother, rather than treat him with respect with a sense of customer service, my son & his friends had to stand & argue with the manager for quite some time. The manager did not believe my son that he had not been on the ride. The manager accused my son of picking up "used tickets" from the ground & trying to use them. When my son told me about that on our way home, I was SPITTIN mad!! I know kids are not perfect, but I have brought up my son to be truthful. And he IS truthful. I know my son. And yet by this manager, he was treated with disrespect and age discrimination. If my son's friends had not been on the hayride, why would my son have been on the hayride? It doesn't make logical sense. So the manager made my son pay the price for the ONE attraction that he had not done, the hayride, separately!! The cost for that one dinky, pathetic attraction was $30!!! The price for everything for the whole night was $42!!! TALK ABOUT A RIP OFF!! My son was very unhappy about the way he had been treated (likely because he is "just a teenager". I was ABSOLUTELY LIVID that the manager had treated him that way & wanted to go back & get back the $30 that he had to overpay for the stupid hayride RIGHT THEN. My non-confrontational son did not want to go back. So I came here to let you know reader, they do not treat teens with care & respect there, as they would adults. And that is a serious problem because to save $$ you really need to buy the tickets online ahead of time Many people buy multiple tickets at the same time Their primary audience is TEENAGERS. The attractions are too chintzy to be scary to adults. Teens are their main audience. Management, you need to get your act together finding a ticket system that WORKS and finding good employees who dont practice AGE DISCRIMINATION, and know how to effectively handle customerservice situations. I came here with my girlfriend on a chilly October night in hopes to experience some bone-chilling moments. Let's say I got a few surprises here and there. They do have free parking here to start you off on a good note. I was able to buy the General Admission Combo Pass for each of us at the ticket booth. It was $68.00 for both of them together and allowed us entry into each of their six attractions. They had bonfires throughout the area to keep you warm. It was a smart idea and we got to enjoy some of them. They had some characters that roamed around the midway to create a scare zone. It wasn't too interactive in my opinion. We started with Hanna Haunted Hayride for our first adventure. They boarded around 20 people on the ride, but there was still space to breathe comfortably. It was filled with animatronics and even scare actors throughout the ride. I'd still go to say that it's a great family experience. If I were you, I'd make this your first stop! Our next stop was Acres Manor Haunted Mansion. The actors in this attraction definitely interacted with us. They stayed persistent and worked together profusely to accompany us on our walk. I was impressed with what they could do with a low amount of actors in this one. Our third stop was Cannibal Chaos. I had high hopes for this, but it did disappoint me, as I seen real potential inside here. The actors didn't seem to be too into it in this attraction. Stop number four was Freakshow. The entry was awesome and so were the visuals, but the acting wasn't too believable. One of the clowns kept laughing at us. I don't think I told her a joke, but oh well. Our fifth, and my favorite attraction, was Descension. It was pretty difficult to presume what this attraction had in store judging by the front. It was probably their darkest attraction. I loved the characters in here. This one is a must! Our last attraction was The Horror Fields. I figured it would be a fast walk, but there was actually a sort of puzzle to get out. There were characters throughout this one and even some chainsaw action! We went heavy at the Concessions stand that they had. We ordered a Hot Dog, a Corn Dog, a Cheeseburger, Nachos, a Walking Taco, a 7-Inch Pizza (Cheese), Breadsticks, and two Funnel Cakes. The Hot Dog had solid, tasty quality. The Corn Dog wasn't too good. The Cheeseburger was really soft, but still decent. The Nachos weren't too good, as they tasted cheaply prepared and lacked cheese. The Walking Taco was surprisingly really good. The Pizza was cheaply made and the cheese stuck to the foil, unfortunately. It wasn't that good. The Breadsticks were really good, especially dipped in the cheese that was at the bottom of the tray. The Funnel Cakes were okay at best. They needed more powder. The grounds of the park were really clean. I was impressed by that. Everything was spread out appropriately in my eyes. The restrooms they had consisted of outhouses. They were pretty clean from the two experiences I had with them. Overall, this place gave me a good amount of thrills for the price. I would deem it worthy if you live fairly close. So during spooky season My kiddo and I visit a new haunted attraction every year and Hanna Haunted Acres was up next. Tickets are a little pricey.... $92 for both of us to do all 6 attractions. But you do get all 6..... we started our night around 8:30 and didn't finish up until around midnight. We did make it to all 6. Lines were king but moved quickly. My favorite attractions were the haunted hay ride and the corn maze. They were my kiddos faves too. Let's just say the score: corn maze 100 vs Rachel -100. We had a blast. My son wanted to do the movie axe throw while we adults sat in the line and they said it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend giving Hanna Haunted Acres a go! read more

We had a great time Friday! This has always been our favorite place for haunts and this year did not disappoint. We opted for the combo unlimited pass and went through every haunt at least 3 times. The hayride was extra good and they just keep adding more to it each year. The food was ok but we were here for the haunts anyway. They added new selfie booths this year which were fun for photo ops and we even got pics with a lot of the characters. The characters always stayed in character and were super cool about taking pics with us. Definitely our favorite haunted house again this year!!! read more

My boyfriend and I visited Hanna Haunted Acres this weekend. The tickets were a little pricey for the attraction. We were able to visit each house once (there were 5) and could go on the haunted hayride once. The houses were spooky and the actors stayed in character the whole time. The line for the hayride was crazy long. I would say the hayride was not worth the hour long wait. The only reason we decided to ride it was because last year when we went the line was also insanely long so we thought we would see what the excitement was about. This would be perfect for kids but a lot of the props are very obviously mechanical/fake. Overall, this is a good place to bring your kids who like a little spookiness Also- we took an Uber to get there and drop off/pick up was very easy. Awesome place to go!!! Went on a wed night lines were short and you can get through everything in about an hour/half! Lots of places for photo opps, concessions, physic readings, & shops! Great value! Four haunted houses, a hayride, and corn maze for $35. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. The hayride has huge props that impressed me and my friends. The actors are also pretty good and stay in character well. My favorite house was the clown one. The 3-D glasses made the clown house so cool! Never been to Indy Scream Park, but my friend went and he said Hanna is better and it's less expensive. Very glad I went and highly recommend. read more

The haunted corn maze was my least favorite (the last recommended activities because of the length of time) because after a while I was ready to just get out (through the entry); it was more entertaining than most corn mazes I have gone through. It was hard to get excited with Saw because of the delayed scariness. I was glad that the bag was clean for the hooded attraction. The other attraction came in about 2rd or 3rd in my opinion. Pretty pricey for the number of attractions. It's $29 for the combo pass. I think $20 would have been a more reasonable price, as my friends and I did everything within an hour and a half. Though it t was nice going after Halloween, when the lines aren't as long. They Hayride wasn't all that scary, but it was still pretty long and fun. The last chase through the forest was pretty awesome. "Saw" had nice touches to it and brought back memorable film moments. "Medical Malpractice, Hide & Seek, & Carn Evil" were all housed in one big building, so there was not break to give your heart a rest. haha Carn Evil was neat in that they give you albeit flimsy 3-D glasses to enjoy the walk. "Scarecrow's Revenge" was like any other corn maze, but it was pretty muddy for the steady rains recently. read more

My family and I always have a great time when visiting Hanna Haunted Acres. This was the first "haunted house" we had ever taken my son and some of his football team to back when they were in middle school and I had never laughed so hard in my entire life. One ended up in the fetal position in the corn field, another threw up from the psychedelics of the clown house, a third lost his phone (temporarily) from throwing it at the man chasing him with a chain saw....Yes, what fun indeed. The boys are all grown up now.. (22 yrs old), room mates living in a frat house and to this day when I mention their first experience of HHA, they all give me the same brooding, cynical look. I really really really hated Haunted Hanna Acres, which means it was one of the best haunted houses I've ever been to. I don't really like haunted house type things (for some reason I just give off this "mess with me!" vibe) and I am easily disturbed, even though I know it's all fake. My fiance loves this stuff though, so I thought we would give it a try. There are 5 distinct attractions. The corn maze, 3 "fright" houses, and a haunted hayride. I made it fine through the Corn Maze, although I did scream quite a bit and we got lost and ended up leaving through the entrance - oops! We went to Phantazmagoria (haunted house) next. I totally lost it. In fact, I was so bent out of shape, we left after that, without doing the 3 remaining attractions. If you really want to be scared senseless, I highly recommend this place. If you're slightly sensitive like me, avoid at all costs! read more

I'm going to start this review with this disclaimer: I think "haunted attractions" are as individual as pizza. What one person likes, another doesn't. I gave this haunt two stars because I just didn't find it scary. I found it predictable. So what can you expect? Here goes: There are a number of different attractions. We started with the corn maze. It was really cool to walk through actual corn stalks. It had just rained so the path was muddy...adding another element of "creepy". That was a good thing. It's truly a maze so depending on how well you navigate that sort of thing, it can take you a while to get through. Oddly enough, if you ask the monsters if you're going the right way, they'll come out of character and talk to you. The Saw maze had a lot of animatronic scenes without live people in the scenes. Therefore....nothing happens. Visually, it was cool but...no real scare factor. The haunted hayride was definitely less than creepy. There were a few animatronics throughout which were kinda cool but the scenes themselves...not so scary. The animatronics move very slow so you can see what's going to happen before it does. This is a "no-touch" haunt. They make it very clear that the actors will not touch you and you should not be touching the actors. To me, that's a haunt of yesterday. The new haunts make it clear that you WILL be touched. That adds a whole other element of scary. This? Not so much. If you have younger kids that want to go to a haunt, this would be a good place to take them. If you are scared easily...this might be a good place for you to go. If you're an experienced haunt-goer or don't get scared easily, there are better haunts to attend. read more

This was, without a doubt, the lamest haunted house I have been to in the last 10 years. I remember going here several years ago and having a good time, however it has gone downhill since then. They advertise that there are 6 haunts, but 3 are combined into 1 with no real delineation. That just makes it seem like 1 decent length haunt that doesn't really know what it wants to be. The "Saw" house was mainly just a lot of props set up to look like scenes from the movie. I think there were probably 6 "actors" total in the entire haunt, all of whom seemed to only be able to repeat the same phrase. Seriously, I saw the same actor at 4 different places in the haunt. The hayride was mildly entertaining, but predictable. We did skip the corn maze due to it being muddy and starting to sprinkle, but given the other haunts, my hopes weren't high for it being very good. Overall, they seem to have paired down the staff so that it is mostly operated by animatronics and have a lot of props, but very few actors. The actors that are present don't seem prepared to interact with the customers outside of whatever lines they are given to repeat. It was boring, predictable and a complete waste of time and money. On the plus side, you could probably safely take your kids with you, because it seems like the only people that got scared were under the age of 10. read more

Ok. I freaking loved this. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night at the beginning of the season. $30 each including the hooded addition. I loved every part!!! I would love to tell you all about it... but I can't give too much away! The "outbreak" was awesome as the decor and tronics were great. "Carnevil" is 3D and the colors were awesome. The hay ride totally exceeded my expectations! And the corn maze could use some more scariness but it was definitely entertaining. Sunday Funday! If you don't want to wait in line and you want to get in and out within an hour or so, go on a Sunday!!! I actually enjoyed this attraction more than Indy Scream Park this year because of that fact...no lines! :) This was my first time at Hanna and I had a lot of fun. This park has 5 haunts; Hayride, Saw, Hooded, Outbreak, and Scarecrow's Revenge. The only one I did not do is Hooded because you have to sign a waiver that you'll be hooded and that people will touch you...my friend was not too keen on that idea, so we skipped it. We were in and out of each haunt in no time. I will say that they weren't as scary as I thought they'd be, especially the Saw attraction. I mean, c'mon...it's SAW! The hayride was a bit juvenile, but fun with friends. The coolest thing is the fog that drapes over the entire property making pictures very fun. Been coming here for years, the hayride is great for younger kids and a good way to break them into the haunted house experience. I'm sure there are better ones but I love the outdoor setting with the bonfire in the middle. Also the fog which they have roll in from the corn field is a great touch. read more

Went with my wife and in laws. Decided just to do the haunted hay ride after hearing such great things about it. Extremely disappointed to say the least. Very long wait for the ride which led me to think it was worth the wait. The ride was heavy on cheesy animatronics and had few actors. Had some well designed areas but overall wasn't scary. The actors that came out where somewhat enthusiastic but seemed to be dressed in something you would find at party city. No sfx makeup just plain paint and masks. It seemed like the entire cart of people end up laughing more than screaming. Cannot give 1 star as we didn't visit the houses or corn maze, but after hearing how the hay ride was the best thing there, and it being as bad as it was, I'm would not have hi hopes for anything else there. I was harassed by an actor there and sent this email: """""""""" To whom it may concern; My name is (deleted for privacy) I am a 25yr old female. I went with my best friend and my two 15 year old cousins. I was enjoying my night until I went to the corn field haunt. Let me tell you what happened.... I was first scared by two actors which was fun but one actor started asking me where my boyfriend was, which seemed a little odd but i thought it was just something scary/teasing he was saying. The two actors then left as we kept walking. Probably 10 mins later my group bumped back into the tall actor again (I'll refer to him as "Joe" from now on to cut down on confusion). I was messing with the battery on my tobacco vaporizer because it fell out of my pocket and it wasn't turning on. Joe asked if it was a vape and I explained yes it wasn't turning on. Joe asked to see it then saw I have a "tile" device taped to my vape. Basically if you press the button on my tile it will ring my cell phone so i can find my phone. Joe starts to ring my phone from my vape trying to be funny. After he does it twice i ask for it back. He says he will give it back if i give him my number.... Then my friend chimed in asking what was going on , I said "he wont give my vape back" Joe says "that's cause she wont give me her number" . My friend was very shocked by this but we are both really nice so she just went along and said "what do you mean?" to Joe. Joe said "she probably wouldn't want to date a 6'7 black dude" ... Keep in mind this is all in front of my 15 year old cousins!!! So Joe starts to "playfully" walk away with my vape constantly ringing my phone and asking for my number... He does this until he guides us to the exit. Then when he does give me my vape back he asks if I have a tinder... Which is basically an app for people trying to hook up... Then asks if i have any social media he can have... So now that you know what happened let me say my two cents. This behavior from a male staff member to someone PAYING to be there is completely unacceptable. I just wanted to enjoy my night with my friends and family. NOT BE OBJECTIFIED. I already deal with unwanted advances in all other situations. But when I'm there PAYING to have fun and be entertained I should not be harassed and have to explain why I'm not dating/wont give out my number. And to top it off in front of my young cousins. It made not only me but my entire group extremely uncomfortable. It ruined my night because as a woman its very frustrating to be objectified when i'm just trying to have fun at a haunted house! Definitely didn't live up to my expectations at all. The website gives false information about the attractions that it offers. My boyfriend and I were excited for the SAW attraction only to realize they got rid of it once we arrived there. It is more family orientated than I expected. Lots of groups of middle school age kids running around. Cool setups in both Carnevil and Outbreak. Not sure it was worth $30. Maybe $15 or $20. If you have middle school age kids, this is for you, but if you have high schoolers or older or are looking for a date night like I was, pass this one up. read more

Advertised as having 6 attractions, but really there is only 4. Haunted maze was a waste of time and more frustrating than entertaining. "Saw" haunted house was lame, very lame.... I enjoyed Hanna haunted acres! They had really good props inside the haunt. There were no lines when we went,(which was a Wednesday), and the staff was very nice! The only drawback is.....I enjoy haunts where the actors are in full character, the actors here are basically in black sweat suits, and you can tell they are high schoolers who jump out with a arrrgh!! That was a little disappointing. The attraction "hooded" was really neat and different, and the others were good for what they were.
