I was charged 160 dollars ,cash only, for the service call, but was told it would be put toward repair bill. the next day they called and told they wouldschedule my repair for August 15. in August I called and was told it would be September but they would fit me in if they had a cancellation. that was the last i heard from them. no repair, no phone call, no credit for the service fee. i would not reccomend them.​

I needed my lawnmower blade sharpened immediately. I went to tractor supply to buy one and they…read morecost $20. So I called chappy's repair and they sharpen for five dollars if you bring your blade in. $10 if they have to remove it from your lawnmower and then sharpen it. I brought it in expecting to have to leave it Overnight but the guy there said no let me do it for you right now. So within 10 minutes he had it perfectly sharpened. For five dollars. Besides repair they also sell lawnmowers. I saw a lot of used ones there push, self propelled, and riders. Maybe they sell new ones too. I don't know. But I highly recommend this place.

The guy behind the…read morecounter was openly laughing in my face as I was asking a question because I didn't know EXACTLY what I was talking about. He talked to me like I was stupid and ignorant. I will be driving to Silvis for all of my John Deere needs from now on. They are so much nicer and more pleasant to work with. If you aren't buying a combine or large tractor then Aledo doesn't want your business because they can't make enough commission off of that. Update: They have since implicated a training exercise based on my experience yesterday from my point of view. Not just this location but all over and are trying to advance their customer service skills. I'm still not going to give them 5 stars though based strictly on an email. The experience I went through did happen and needs to be shared to make sure they do follow through with their word and don't fall back into their old ways.

I had an issue with, what turned out to be the battery on the tractor at church. Called MS and…read morespoke with the customer service manager. He immediately offered a solution and as we talked through the details, he offered to drive out to the church to assist. Let me repeat that, he offered to go to the church. He loaded tested the battery, did a once-over of the electrics on his own. In the end, we got it back to running inside 15min. Beautiful words for a day I did not want to mow in the heat of the day with a 30" walk-behind vs the church's 72" rider. I was very impressed and thankful for the help. I'll be back.
