For two years now I've received mailings for the One Day 15% sales Event from the previous WI dealer, which is of no use. When I asked Weilands in IL if they would send me mailing/notification of when they have the event, I thought they'd say "Sure! We'd love to!". Instead I was told to periodically check the Echo website and look up when Weilands would have the event. Or, I can call the store here and there to see when the event was scheduled for them. I'm trying to continue to do business with them, but they sure are making it hard. Worst customer service I can think of

I've used Cross several times in the past for both parts and service and had been happy…read more But I took my mower here the other day. They kept it for several days then called me to say the repair would be $600 and that my mower was not worth fixing. Charged me $86 for the estimate. Gave me a written invoice claiming they removed the carb float bowl and found the carb needed to be replaced along with some other work. Attached is a pic of the carb I removed from the mower and as you can clearly see the bowl was never removed. They lied. After taking the carb in and showing it to them and asking for my $86 back the owner initially said he would not refund my money. After several phone calls they eventually did the right thing and issued a full refund. I bought a new carb online for $38, installed it myself in an hour and now the mower runs fine. There are too many other Deere dealers in this area to waste your time and money on Cross.

Took my boat there with a fuel delivery issue. Said 2 weeks it would be looked at and fixed…read more Owner said bad fuel and carb rebuild. I said ok please river test. We picked it up took it out and made it a mile up river and same problem. Took it back to him the same day. (After hours) parked it in his lot. Messaged him about same problem. Next morning he told me he was going to tow my boat in his neighbors lot and I was on my own with picking my boat up. We talked said carb issue again plus more fuel issues. I picked up removed fuel tank cleaned out, ( all gas in tank has been used in my truck with no issues) returned boat and said card issue had to pull again cleaned and returned for $700. Boat still will not run. When I called him he said loose my number and my boat was a piece of shit. My neighbor just had the same issue with him!

You have to understand that they are a small, family owned, high quality work business - not a "put a band-aid on it and hope it stays."
