Roy showed me something with our gas fireplace that shocked me, as we had been running it for nearly two seasons with this problem. Roy likely saved us from potentially becoming very sick. Inspections are worth it. This is their busiest season right now, so you may have to wait a few weeks to be serviced. Can't recommend them enough! You can't go wrong with Crow's. After calling the company that installed my gas fireplace that wasn't working, waiting 2 weeks for them to come and service it only to be told they don't service gas fireplaces even though they sell them, and suggesting I call Crow's did I get the fireplace fixed. Not only did he come to my home days after I called, he found the issue plus other issues with the way it was installed and fixed those as well. Then he ardently put the fireplace back together placing each log and checking to see how how the flames looked. Mind you, he took two hours on a FRIDAY NIGHT to get this all done. So impressed! From the time we moved in, we've been able to rely on Seth Bihun and the team at Total Tree Care for so many tree issues--a couple have been struck by lightning, some needed pruning when they grew over the patio, the derecho hit two years ago and one split down the middle, and just this week we had two enormous white pines removed after they dropped HUGE branches in a wind storm. This has happened a couple of times. Hated to see them go, but it was time. For small jobs like trimming or putting in a cable to large jobs like the the removal of two forty-foot tall pines this week, it's so reassuring to know we're dealing with a certified arborist and a team of professionals who are experts at what they are doing and who take pride in helping local homeowners take care of their trees. Two tremenous cranes and several trucks pulled up at 8 AM, and by about 11 AM. the trees were gone and the yard was as clean as a whistle. Every branch was removed from the trees first, and then the enormous trunks were dismantled in sections from the top down. The cranes lifted the sections straight into the wood chipper, so there was no mess at all. First,an estimator comes to your house, photographs the tree(s) to be trimmed or removed, and you receive a bid online for the job so there are no surprises. You know when they will come (the communication is always prompt and polite), you know what you will pay, and you can be confident your job will be done well by experts. If you're a homeowner who has trees, you WILL need to know a reliable, responsible company who can help you when you need it. For us over the past three and a half decades, that company has been Total Tree Care. Our neighbors have had great tree service over many years, too. Seth and his team are the best--you won't be disappointed and you can count on a job done well and done safely--and that's what matters!

BTW, most scrap yards are very friendly and helpful, but this yard is at the top of my list! As an interesting aside, I could not help but notice that they had what I assumed was a brand new CAT crane loading me. I also noticed that the Operator was very deft and precise in his "Maestro" level of control while orchestrating the controls of his machine. I learned later that the "New" crane was in fact FIVE YEARS OLD". By all appearance, I would have sworn that is was less then one week old. I have seen a LOT of cranes in many yards. I have seen cranes that were less than a month old that did not look like they were even close to being brand new. I also learned that the Operator was so good that Marion Iron bought the crane especially for him and that he was the only person authorized to operate it. This company has SOUL!

This business is one of the worst I have ever encountered!…read more We were new in the area and didn't know any better. In the past, we had taken a lawn mower for a new carborator, only to have them install it upside down. Later, we had them work on a snow blower, We didn't see it for a couple of weeks after it was delivered to the wrong address, although owner was sure he delivered to our house. It was several houses away, and finally the person living in that house called the police to report it, and we finally got it back. It's a small circle drive, shouldn't be that difficult to find our house where they picked it up!! (They delivered it to house #103 instead of "123" We didn't take any business to them for many many years until recently, we purchased a new Troy Bilt mower from a different store. A a couple of months after purchase, the mower threw a belt and we were told that Wade's was the only place that did their warranty work was Wades or a a city aproximately 50 miles away. We decided to give them another try.... Big MISTAKE! They were nasty on the phone and told us they were too busy and "their customers came first"! We called Troy Bilt, after which we received a message from Wade's they would come pick it up. After a week or so, they brought it back and left it in the driveway parked partially in front of our garage door, if it had been 15 minutes earlier, my daughtter would have backed into it when she backed out of the garage!! My husband was told it would be delivered in the evening, and they came around noon, not bothering to ring our doorbell to let us know it was sitting outside for us to run over!! Then they billed us almost $50 to pick up and deliver even though they are only approximately 6 miles away from our house. In short, this business is run by HIGHLY INCOMPETENT AND RUDE OWNERS!!
