Looking for a new mower, so I called and talked to a sales guy. Sent him the info requested and then tried to follow up two more times. No response from him ever again. Apparently the brand new mower I was wanting to buy wasn't expensive enough to waste his time. With so many great dealers in the area, please don't waste your time with this place! Was shopping for a new lawn mower and stopped in at this place. Stood around for 5 minutes and no one there even acknowledged my existence. Four different employees saw me and not one said a word to me. When I finally did talk to a so called salesman, he had zero interest in showing me anything. Never got up out of his chair. No one can tell you how much any service costs. So good luck getting a quote. Had a trimmer serviced, took forever. Got it back still didn't work. Took it back in, to be told it needed new parts (still couldn't get a quote). They said they wouldn't charge me labor since I had to come back in. Got a bill...with the labor. Called and asked to have it removed. They got a manager who proceeded to lecture me on what a good deal I was getting even with the labor charges. He said he'd take off the labor charge, but felt I needed to be taught a lesson on what a good deal I was getting. (Can't imagine how head would have treated me if I were a woman.) I told him I'd rather pay the full price and never go back. So disorganized. So rude. read more

Friendly enough people, horrible service. I bought a chipper/shredder from them and after a few uses the key fell out somewhere in my back woods. After three visits, I still have no replacement key and a $2,000 + piece of equipment sitting useless in my garage for lack of a fifty cent key. read more

I would not recommend buying anything from City Tractor. They sell used equipment with serious issues that should be very obvious to a tractor company. We used the new-to-us riding lawn mower three times and the deck broke (needs welded back together). They do not honor any kind of warranty. Honestly, they won't even talk about it and chose to hang up on us. Maybe it's our fault for trusting a locally owned company to be honest. read more

I was a customer at City Tractor yesterday when a delivery driver dropped off parts when the parts manager Mike Vesserly very rudely told the delivery driver that he had to tell them how many parts that he was dropping off because they had had lost parts the week before and in a round about way it was the delivery driver fault but the parts manager would not get off his rear end to go over and count the number of parts that was delivered.the delivery driver politely said that he would but he doesn't have the time to wait for the parts manager to get up and wonder over there which was about 6 ft away from the counter and the delivery driver was looking very busy and wanted to be on his way to his next stop,personally if I was the driver I would have left the parts at the front door and left but the driver was showing that he was a class act but not doing that .
