We hired this company to clean our carpets and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing…read moreexperience. The carpets were not cleaned properly, and the odor we specifically asked them to address remained, even after they charged us extra for a deodorizer. We contacted them twice afterward to request they come back out, and were told, in essence, that we just needed to deal with it. To make matters worse, we were incorrectly charged twice and had to go through the hassle of addressing the billing error. For the price we paid, we expected professionalism, quality service, and accountability. Instead, we received none of the above. We cannot recommend this company and would strongly suggest others look elsewhere for carpet cleaning services. We will be reporting to the BBB

After sending my initial inquiry by e-mail, I received a phone call back from Mike within the hour. He was friendly and professional, and was able to schedule our inspection for a date that was only 4 days away from the date that I contacted him. Setting up the inspection was incredibly simple, and I really liked that all the pricing was clearly laid out on the website, so there were no surprises when he sent me the invoice. The inspection itself was extremely thorough, and the report was well-organized with all issues categorized by level of severity and accompanied by digital photos that clearly demonstrate exactly what was going on. Despite including an impressive level of detail, Mike had the report in my inbox within hours of leaving the property. To top it all off, 5 days later I checked my mail and was surprised to find a thank you card from Mike, letting me know that he appreciated our business and hoped we were happy with his service. Needless to say, this was an understatement.

I have to take a moment to say how extremely happy I am with Tomlinson-Cannon…read more I have been dealing with a water in my finished basement since I had purchased my home about 10 years ago. Typically it wasn't an issues, unless we had a wet spring, or a week of rain. This happens fairly regularly for us that live in Iowa. I thought I had two cracks in my foundation, turned out I had 6 Cracks. Eric and his team came out, found all the issues and promptly fixed them the next business day. I did run a water test and found one place that wasn't quite sealed. Eric had another professional out 2 days after the test, and promptly fixed it. I can't tell you how much of a relief after 10 years to finally have this off my shoulders. I would recommend Tomlinson-Cannon to everyone.

When we arrived he was already up on the roof doing his inspection. When he got down from the roof he greeted my husband and I with a hand shake. We walked with him most of his inspection. He welcomed us to walk with him and explained things along the way. He made suggestions of things we could do to prevent problems down the road in caring for our new home. He checked every window, every door and switch. He took covers off electrical panels and off the furnace and water heater. He was not judge mental, nor negative. He spoke facts and gave so many helpful suggestions. Our money was well spent for his services. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a home inspection.
