Mr.Kim is truly the hardest working, professional lawyer in this field…read more Our case was difficult to get discharged from Chapter 7 bankruptcy, but Mr.Kim made it happen. He worked so much for us, providing excellent customer service, and his paralegal was always there whenever Mr.Kim was out of the office for a meeting. They responded our email and phone calls in a timely manner, was always there whenever we needed their advise or support. Mr.Kim is NOT one of those lawyers who rip you off and is just interested in getting money from you, he works for you the best he can. He makes your money worth, if you need help with bankruptcy, I highly recommend him! He is honest, hard working, passionate lawyer who is an expert in this field.

The responsiveness has…read morebeen very inconsistent and we are struggling to hear back in a responsive and efficient manner and get work done. Our repeated feedback has fallen on deaf ears and the process keeps being dragged as ball falls on our court while we are ready with all documents for submission. I imagine they are overworked or overburdened but this shouldn't happen to cases they have already decided to work on. While Sunjae was initially very responsive to our questions, once a payment was made responses haven't been timely and work on our forms had plenty missing and mistaken information on very basic aspects. We didn't receive any apologies after pointing these out and corrections and revisions take forever for them to make. Disappointed and wouldn't recommend. Making an addition here following the filing of our case. Sunjae filed the same picture as evidence for two different occasions despite our well organized folders of pictures as a couple. When I pointed the mistake out, no apologies, and coming up with suggestions as to how "we" as the couple can correct it.... I am baffled and really recommending against this company.

I retained Angel Hristov in July 2025 for a custody modification case after previously having a…read morepositive experience with him during my divorce. Unfortunately, my experience this time was completely different. Over approximately one year, I spent nearly $4,000 in legal fees and experienced ongoing communication issues, unanswered calls, and repeated court postponements. One particularly frustrating incident occurred in March 2026 when I took time off work and traveled to the courthouse in Jamaica, Queens, only to learn that my scheduled appearance was not proceeding as expected due to what Angel described as a court scheduling error. Despite this, I was asked to Zelle him $750 for his appearance What concerned me even more was a telephone conversation during which Angel told me he sometimes had to "play devil's advocate" regarding my ex-husband because he could relate to being in his shoes. He explained that he also had a girlfriend who did not get along with his ex-wife and that this affected his relationship with his own son because he did not want to upset his girlfriend. He also expressed that he wished he could speak to my ex-husband "man-to-man." As a mother seeking representation regarding concerns about my daughter's well-being, I found this comparison deeply inappropriate and began questioning whether my concerns were being evaluated objectively. My greatest disappointment came in July 2026 when my custody modification petition was dismissed without proceeding to trial. I had spent months gathering documentation concerning my daughter's well-being, which I had hoped to present. The opposing attorney had filed a motion to dismiss, and I had specifically questioned Angel about whether we needed to respond. After receiving the court's decision, I was concerned to see that the absence of opposition to the motion was discussed. When I questioned this, Angel maintained that the evidence was insufficient. During our final conversation in July, Angel said he would look into the cost of an appeal. As of October 8, I have received no follow-up. I understand that attorneys cannot guarantee outcomes. My dissatisfaction is not simply that I lost my case, but how the case was handled, the lack of communication, and the financial and emotional toll of the experience. As a single mother who trusted this firm based on previous representation, I am extremely disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm for custody matters.

Nathan's steadfast approach helped me cut through a lot of emotional interference and stay on track. We were introduced to him at a most critical moment while my father was still alive and he helped us navigate through all the legalities and complications that would reveal themselves in the process. Regardless of whether the challenge was expected or a surprise, Nathan was always able to respond quickly and effectively. It was also pleasure working with Christopher Grayson Esq. who began working more closely with me toward the end of this sale. Mr. Grayson helped us efficiently prioritize and finalize action items left before closing but more importantly he allowed me to vent many frustrations I would experience in the process. I chose her to represent me because every aspect of my case was well explained to me, her high success rate, and her community involvement clearly shows that she cares about her clients. The fact that her credentials are unmatched, I felt that I was in good hands right from the beginning. Her services were excellent. I was treated with respect and for the first time in a long time, I felt that there are some immigration attorneys who really care about their clients as opposed to the ones just trying to get money out of them. I always recommend her firm to others. I will make it my mission to spread word of mouth to the people I know who have similar immigration issues. Even after moving from New York to Dallas, I still use their services. It's hard to find a good, honest, and competent immigration attorney and for the people who are willing to travel to find a good one, Melanie is the best you can find. Melanie, you truly embrace the human rights philosophy, I can never thank you enough.

William Slutskey was one of more than a dozen lawyers I have spoken to over the phone at this point about my medical malpractice case. He wasn't able to take my case--it's very complicated onr, but I suppose they all are. Nonetheless, I was so impressed by him that I wanted to write this review. First, Mr.Slutsky gives extremely thorough and clearly knowledgeable advice. He gave me the pros and cons of my case in great detail and patiently answered all my questions. I should add that very early on in our conversation, Mr. Slutsky informed me that my case is not right for him. Yet, for the next forty minutes or so, he proceeded to give me very helpful advice on my case. This is in marked contrast to not a few of the other lawyers I consulted who couldn't wait to hang up as soon as they'd ruled me out as a potential client. Mr. Slutsky was sympathetic, funny and really smart. Probably of all the lawyers I spoke to, he gave me the best all-around advice. I give him a BIG thumbs up. View William's profile

When I arrived, I was informed--without any prior notice--that the consultation would instead be conducted by a different partner. I was also told the consultation would be 15 minutes, despite previously understanding it to be 30 minutes. When I expressed that I was only interested in meeting with the attorney I originally booked the consultation with, I was then told that doing so would require paying an additional $100, raising the consultation fee from $100 to $200. At that point, due to the lack of transparency around who I was meeting with, the consultation length, and the fee structure, I felt uncomfortable proceeding and requested a refund, which was granted. This review is not about the attorneys' legal ability, but about the intake and consultation process. Switching attorneys without advance disclosure and changing terms after arrival is not a professional experience, particularly for clients dealing with sensitive family law matters. I hope the firm improves its intake communication and transparency for future clients.
