But what was exceptional was the greens and mac & cheese. The greens were so tender with bits of stewed meat in it, and the Mac & cheese was so uniquely seasoned. But the lovely owner/manager came over and said the "drinks are on me" because we waited so long. We appreciated that! The fried chicken was good, but the breading was very salty. The green beans were almost inedible because they were so salty. The mashed potatoes were average. The biscuits were fantastic. The fried deviled eggs were okay. A regular deviled egg is better.
