DISGUSTING HEALTH CODE VIOLATION Used to love eating here. At 9:05-15 2/26/2026 I witnessed a staff handle coins with her greasy gloves, like 15 seconds of it in her palm moving around. I never took my eyes off her and without changing gloves or washing hands she started dealing with the food and touching chicken, adding cheese, direct contact. I immediately got up and told the staff working the issue and they tried to brush me off saying it's not a big deal and she said she wouldn't care if it was her. Is this the service and training you guys are doing? I put the time and date so hopefully the owner can look at the cameras and verify everything im saying. This is not only disgusting but I got gaslit and attitude for confronting a DISGUSTING HEALTH CODE VIOLATION.

Buffalo Chicken Tender Thicc Fries

Food was AMAZING, especially when you're looking for a late night meal/snack. This is also a family run business, so it's great to support them on top of the delicious food. Service was great, Danny and Matthew are so kind. There's also seating where you can either eat alone in a corner or with friends! HIGHLY recommend the buffalo thicc fries (my friend recommended me this and I have to recommend this to others too!!) MUST TRY--especially for the price point!

Go to late night food that will hit your fried food cravings. The sauces were done just right, not too sweet and just the right amount of savory. I wish they made it slightly spicy or even flavored it with gochujang. My only complaint with the fries is that they could've been more crispy and less oily. The food is prepped right as you order, so you don't have to wait too long. Good portion size for the price. Two other friends and I shared this plate and it was a good appetizer for the three of us.

Such a great place to grab food after a concert. I loved this place so much, it's a hidden gem. Owner was so sweet and everything came out so quick. The spot to be in Westwood !

Hangrier combo w/ fries and Texas toast

The chicken tender portions were huge (each tender was essentially one breast), and the combo came with a lot of fries. The thick batter, however, separated easily right off from the chicken, to the point where I was basically eating the batter and the chicken separately. The salad composition was fine, veggies were fresh, but the meat was chewy and difficult to eat, though seasoned well. Fries were pretty standard. The service was really gruff, the person taking our order basically said nothing to us the entire time. Roadside vibes, a small amount of outdoor seating. I don't think I'd return.

Had the buffalo fries the other night and really enjoyed it. Great place to grab a late night bite!

As a Korean Immigrant who moved here recently, I didn't know authentic korean food can come late at late. When I think affordable, delicious and in big portions, this is where I go to. Fat Sal's next door smells bad. Please consider supporting this cute family business.

This place is good! I've had the KBBQ thicc fries and the hangrier combo-- both were tasty and filling (the pricing is definitely a lot though). The people working there are always super nice-- one man gave us a free Coke. Westwood staple!

I'll say for the amount food you get you definitely get the bang for your buck. 1 order is two meals or big enough to share for two. I'll say both the buff chick fries here and at fat Sal's are pretty good. I personally prefer fat Sal's bc it's more style but the chicken in hangry moon's is better and the fries are bigger and fatter (pun not intended lol)

Give this man your business. Chicken is good. Portions are good. Prices are good. If I could eat here more often I would.

My go to are the zebra fries! Absolutely delicious! Only thing that sucks is it's street parking and there's hardly ever any available

Similar to what you'd expect, this is a Chipotle-like experience, except with Korean food. I got my fix of tofu, purple rice, noodles, and a plethora of toppings including kimchi, caramelized onions, corn, and more I couldn't count. I also got my fix of teriyaki sauce, sriracha sauce, and gochujang mayo. Couldn't really ask for more. What I liked was that the good toppings were unlimited. Felt like I got my money's worth!

My husband tried to order one, but they told him he needed to build his own. Hopefully they fixed the menu board, but it also seemed a little strange they couldn't just make it since they already knew how. Oh well... We both got the 2 protein bowls. Portion size was good and everything was flavorful. Loved the sweet potato noodles and purple rice. I would probably ask for the sauce on the side next time, but other than that, all was good. Even though we started off a little rough, we would definitely go back. Great alternative to other popular build your own bowl spots.

When I came in, the place was empty, except for the man at the counter who was very welcoming and friendly. The decorations are minimal, giving the vibe of a very low key hole in the wall. I ordered a glass of jamaica and their pipian de pollo, based on recommendations from other reviews. The jamaica came out quickly, and it was lightly floral and not too sweet. Next came out a little basket of tortilla chips with some pico de gallo. The tortilla chips were hot and freshly fried, with a thick and satisfying crunch. The pico was good enough to add a bit of brightness and freshness to the chips. Finally the pepian de pollo came out, a large platter of chicken stew with a drumstick and a thigh, some potatoes, a mound of rice and a heap of mac and cheese. The stew had a nice deep, rich flavor that really evoked that feeling of comfort of food made with love. The chicken and potatoes soaked up the flavor beautifully, and scooping all that with some rice into a fresh, homemade tortilla made for a lovely experience. The mac and cheese was a bit bland, but everything else was wonderful. Overall, had a lovely time with great food and friendly service. If you're looking for a very low key mom and pop shop with food made with love, definitely recommend checking this place out!
