it's late at night, you just finished studying and your belly is empty. Or perhaps you wanna get a bite before going to the club. This is the spot to stop by! It has a wide variety of chicken dishes and they're pretty damn good! For your first time, try their chicken wrap and order it with fries. You won't regret it. (And don't forget to eat it with the sauce they give you). 10/10. Sidenote: Sometimes this spot is a bit crowded but nothing as bad as In-N-Out. Every time I've went there were chairs available even though it's a small area. read more

The rib eye was not edible. It was rubbery and shouldn't be served to people . To be fair this is a chicken place so maybe that's the way to go here. The cashier was helpful when I asked him for the ingredients in the wrap and polite when ringing me out. It's a hole in the wall with an outdoor seating area. There are stools for people to sit and eat but no tables. Ambiance is fine but nothing fancy. read more

This place is yummy!!! We go here after we have seen a show at the GEFFEN. Excellent chicken tenders and really good fries! Will be back again! read more

Fast service. Went there to pick up dinner for me and my friend. Reasonably priced. Even though In N Out was literally next door, Hangry is different and has other options. I got the KFC ( Korean fried chicken), slider but it's just a burger, not the small sliders that cone in 3 mini buns. Fries were ok. It's literally a food stand with a few counter tops and high chairs. read more

Food was AMAZING, especially when you're looking for a late night meal/snack. This is also a family run business, so it's great to support them on top of the delicious food. Service was great, Danny and Matthew are so kind. There's also seating where you can either eat alone in a corner or with friends! HIGHLY recommend the buffalo thicc fries (my friend recommended me this and I have to recommend this to others too!!) MUST TRY--especially for the price point! read more

DISGUSTING HEALTH CODE VIOLATION Used to love eating here. At 9:05-15 2/26/2026 I witnessed a staff handle coins with her greasy gloves, like 15 seconds of it in her palm moving around. I never took my eyes off her and without changing gloves or washing hands she started dealing with the food and touching chicken, adding cheese, direct contact. I immediately got up and told the staff working the issue and they tried to brush me off saying it's not a big deal and she said she wouldn't care if it was her. Is this the service and training you guys are doing? I put the time and date so hopefully the owner can look at the cameras and verify everything im saying. This is not only disgusting but I got gaslit and attitude for confronting a DISGUSTING HEALTH CODE VIOLATION. read more

Go to late night food that will hit your fried food cravings. The sauces were done just right, not too sweet and just the right amount of savory. I wish they made it slightly spicy or even flavored it with gochujang. My only complaint with the fries is that they could've been more crispy and less oily. The food is prepped right as you order, so you don't have to wait too long. Good portion size for the price. Two other friends and I shared this plate and it was a good appetizer for the three of us. read more

Amazing. Two KFC sliders combo for $18 and these were NOT slider sized! Idk if they were generous that night or what, but both the fries and chicken were phenomenal!! Juicy, tender chicken with an amazingly perfected sauce. I will have to come back to try more. Highly recommend. Location was right next to Fat Sal's (another fave.) in Westwood. read more

The chicken tender portions were huge (each tender was essentially one breast), and the combo came with a lot of fries. The thick batter, however, separated easily right off from the chicken, to the point where I was basically eating the batter and the chicken separately. The salad composition was fine, veggies were fresh, but the meat was chewy and difficult to eat, though seasoned well. Fries were pretty standard. The service was really gruff, the person taking our order basically said nothing to us the entire time. Roadside vibes, a small amount of outdoor seating. I don't think I'd return. read more

I'll say for the amount food you get you definitely get the bang for your buck. 1 order is two meals or big enough to share for two. I'll say both the buff chick fries here and at fat Sal's are pretty good. I personally prefer fat Sal's bc it's more style but the chicken in hangry moon's is better and the fries are bigger and fatter (pun not intended lol) read more

Fast service and friendly staff during closing hours! Would recommend for a late night snack.

Hangry moon's satisfied our hunger craving on a cold night! Their thicc fries are loaded with various toppings for a great price, especially considering that they're easily shareable between 2-3 ppl per plate. It's more of a grab and go type of service as the seating space is limited. Our order came out quickly despite the line too! KFC Thicc Fries: 4/5 -we enjoyed this one the most and it was a personal recommendation from a friend. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. It worked well with the cheesy fries under. KBBQ Thicc Fries: 3/5 -this one came to a surprise to us because we didn't expect the dish to look like this, but it was good! Ribeye steak bites were tender and had a teriyaki flavor to them. I highly recommend eating the cabbage to cut back the saltiness. read more

Give this man your business. Chicken is good. Portions are good. Prices are good. If I could eat here more often I would.

Solid comfort food spot. They are open super late and have tons of delicious options. If you're going to be up late and want some comfort fries, this is the place to be. It does get VERY crowded Thursday-Saturday nights, so expect to wait a long time. There are not that many seating options, and the eating area is not the cleanest. read more

- my go to spot for late night munchies, especially since the line is usually shorter and faster than fat sals - huge portions, though they have increased prices sadly - favorites are the buffalo thicc fries or the zebra fries, nachos aren't worth imo. they also have really good sauce, they usually give ranch and whatever sauces were used for your dish read more

We were craving a late night snack and this spot sounded delicious. Delivery came effectively and the food was still hot. We ordered the steak with fries combo, the country fried steak taco, the tofu taco and the chicken and fries. The steak was seasoned nicely on both dishes but very chewy and big pieces. The tofu taco was very delicious and filling. I could order another of those. The chicken strips and fries were a solid meal. The portion sizes are rather massive, so keep that into consideration. read more

After a fun night, came through to this joint and got the Hangry Combo, which consisted of two chicken tenders along with fries and Texas toast. It didn't take long for the wait even though there were tons of people ordering at this time and day of the week. The meal was pretty good; had to space it out within a few days since the order came with a lot. The sauce was awesome too and provided that extra flavor for each bite. This is definitely a meal I'd have once a month, but each large tender was worth it and I think the sauce is definitely a bonus for every meal. Keep up the great work everyone! read more

The guy/owner is so kind! We checked in and used our Yelp app (free drink). He gave my kids water bottles complimentary. So kind of him! The food was amazing. Zebra fries, chicken sliders, and chicken tenders. The food was made after you order. It's worth the wait! The wait wasn't long at all. No complaints read more

I ordered the kfc thicc fries. It's chicken tenders covered with kbbq sauce on top of a mountain of cheese fries and more sauce. They also give u ranch and a spread type of sauce on the side. It seems very simple, but with the sauces, layers of cheese, and chicken. It packs 1 heck of a flavor punch. Not to mention that it's a whole lot of food! I couldn't finish it all, and I'm a voracious eater. Plus you get a free drink with yelp check in! I'll definitely be back to try more delicious food. read more

wish i could give 0, got some chicken & fries, but the food tastes like it was just refried from earlier in the day (overfried), fries seemed like they were from frozen packet, and it was all extremely greasy.... i've never had chicken or fries that are this greasy.. should've gone to in n out nextdoor. to top it all off, the below mediocre and honestly gross food was $20, expensive for no reason, making it worse. girl i should've just went to whole foods and bought frozen fries and frozen chicken and made it at home it would've been less greasy, and way cheaper .. i feel bad bc the owner was like old and i went around 10:30pm but still dude? if u can't give good quality food then take it off the menu read more

I found this place during an afternoon and decided to try them out. I ordered a slider combo consisting of a chicken slider and a jack daniels pulled pork slider. The order took about 15 minutes even though I was the only person ordering. I also saw the chef microwaving some food, which gives me concerns regarding the freshness of the food. Taste wise, I thought the food was pretty good. The chicken slider was hot and crunchy. The addition of the coleslaw gave it a light and refreshing touch. The pulled pork was very juicy, soft, and full of flavor. Addition of the coleslaw on it also gave the slider a nice refreshing touch. The fries on the other hand were kind of stale a few minutes after I started eating. Overall, the sliders were worth giving 4 stars. The fries and the microwaving made me give this place 3 stars instead. I'm not sure if I'm willing to give this place another shot because I care about quality and freshness of my food. No price is worth trading for that. read more

This Place is FIRE. I love the way Korean people fry their chicken with some of the best flavors in the world. We stopped here when we got Hangry for lunch. This is the place to go in Westwood if you want a greasy, fried, filling meal (for a decent price too!) Honesty, if you're caught up by the price - the serving size here is definitely enough to fill 2 people!!!! The first time I came here, I wasn't so impressed by the hangry bites combo - the fries were stale, the flavor got tiring and my texas toast was rock hard. Giving Hangry bites combo a 3/5. The best redeeming factor is for a portion that's only $11.99 that is one hella big serving of chicken. For the other times I have been to hangry moon's, I would rec items on the thicc fries/nachos menu. The combos on here are $1 extra but totally worth it. So much more flavorful and many fun combinations. And like their hangry combo, they definitely do not skim out on protein portions. One of my favorites is the KFC THICC FRIES 5/5. I attached some photos - you can tell it was a stuffed meal- two huge chicken breasts chopped and topped off with green onions and in the bottom were cheese fries. Sauces were provided on the side. It was a loaded meal. Would get again on another cheat day. read more
