I had an accident that required that my suit be cleaned and given back to me that same day and the folks at Eleganza Cleaners were more than happy to help. They charged me $39.00 for the clean and $15.60 (40%) for the expedited service; they were upfront about the added cost for said expedited service. The base cost of the clean is a little higher than what you might find at other cleaners, but I think the quality of work you receive well justifies the price. As for the quality of work: it was excellent (see the before and after pictures). The only thing I might note is that there is a strange scent inside the store that, at least for me, is slightly off-putting. The scent does stick to your garment, however, it quickly goes away after use and likely is a result of the cleaning agents that are used (which, by the way, according to the owner, are all natural, environmentally friendly, and of higher quality than what you might find at other locations). Anyway, I received great service, quality, and will be bringing all my dry cleaning needs to this company from now on.

In addition to the dry cleaning I have also used the alterations service and everything was excellent. Most recently, I took in some Nike tennis shorts that were practically new. They were all identical except for the color but, for some reason, every pair had a faulty zipper that needed to be replaced. It was cheaper to get new zippers rather than replace the shorts at $70 a pop. As usual, it was an excellent job, however, I was blown away that not only did they replace the zippers but they matched all the varying colors perfectly. I had even said not to worry about matching the colors because you can't see the zipper and some of the colors were not easy to match. It took a little more time but going the extra mile was totally worth it!

They didn't apologize or anything, and to make matters worse they were about to charge me for the shirt! The owner came out and thankfully he took off the charge for the shirt but didn't say anything about making things right, after they destroyed a $150 silk polo shirt. Even after I told her several times I wasn't drying those clothes she continued - mind you they close at 9:00 pm - so if I wanted to wash & dry I would've had enough time to do both. I would've never made this review if it wouldn't have been that I discovered she lied to me about her name! She obviously knew she was doing something she is NOT allowed to do to customers & thought that by giving a fake name I wouldn't find out! Now if I could give another review for the other employees who are FANTASTIC - Nicole & Noemi - they deserve 5 STARS!!!! Nicole & Noemi are always so helpful, kind, generous with advice and truly sweet. The staff working at Polo is wonderful. What I think is truly awesome is that the owner employs a few people that have challenges. He gives people a chance to be contributing members in the workplace and earn a living, and to be VALUED. This is something I just find remarkable and worth mentioning because it tells me something about the willingness of this business to be inclusive of ALL people, of all levels abilities. Though it's not something I go looking for, when I find that exists at a business, I will return again and again. Our cleaning is always done to near perfection. Fresh, clean and on time, even when it's a rush order, Polo gets it done. Yes, there is an occasional button that will break on a shirt with the pressing process, but if pointed out, they always correct it. I had my tailor-made cashmere coat cleaned at Polo. It's something that was costly to have made and never leaves my sight. Polo cleaned it to PERFECTION. Most recently, I had to have my hubby's sport jacket cleaned on a rush as he needed this specific coat for an event. It was no problem for Polo and we received it quickly and well cleaned; fresh as new! In my work, I wear a uniform with shirts that, while lovely, are a pain in the neck to iron. When I take them to Polo, I can count on them being done perfectly, odd cuffs and all. Once, a few years back, the owner found that someone working for the same company as I, had left a logo emblem on his coat. The emblem had to be removed from the garment to be cleaned and he had it in a little box. He asked me if it was my company's logo and I told him it was, which made it easy for him to find the rightful owner. There are a few of us that wear this same emblem, but since they look similar, it was important this went back to the right person. He figured it out and everyone was happy. Looking at some of the other Yelp reviews for Polo Cleaners, I am quite puzzled as I have never had anything less than a wonderful experience! Personalized service, too. As I stated, we have been returning customers to Polo for over 15 years. If the quality was anything less than wonderful, why would we continue to be loyal customers?
