Awful attention paid to clients. Wasn't properly greeted and slightly disciplined by staff due to them being unprepared. No signage is posted requiring appointments only. Rudeness and back and forth when your trying to understand things in an office setting is just immature. Needs to be dealt with and deleted from the script. read more

I was referred to Hanger clinic for an OWL boot, the process of getting the boot you have to do a casting of your foot for correct sizing and then it takes 2-4 weeks to receive your boot. It's a heavy and cumbersome but it's what I needed. So far I'm happy with the service. I'll update my review after I get my boot. read more

Best place I've ever been to. Not only is the office staff friendly and nice but on top of scheduling. Brandon Stewart sure knows his stuff , hard to believe he has (2) two legs and can understand what us amputee feel so well. My prosthetic fits perfectly, the process of getting it completed was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs this type of services. Top notch! read more

This place deserves a ZERO for patient service. My Dr. sent me Hanger in Savannah at 906 E 68th for for a set of orthotic supports for my shoes. I have arthritis in my feet and need some arch support. I drove all the way to Savannah where the young lady said according to her paperwork I was there to get measured for an ankle brace for my right foot. I told her I think she was wrong because my doctor and I had talked about getting measured for inserts for my shoes to help with some arthritis and arch support in both my feet. She said NO my paperwork says to measure and fit you with an ankle brace for your Right foot and nothing about your left foot. I said no you must be mistaken can you check with my doctors office and get the right information. She said it was not her responsibility to call my doctor's office it was my responsibility. I told her I came all the way to Savannah and you don't even know why I am here. I guess I need to just go home and find out why you folks don't have the right information. She just said "Have a Good Day -bye". This place has no customer/patient service what so ever. It is all about what it says on their paperwork. No offer to help find out where the mix up is. Terrible! 3 days later I get a call from my doctors office saying they sent over the wrong prescription. REALLY? About an hour later I get a call from Hanger Clinic wanting me to reschedule my appointment. NO THANK YOU! I wanted the Hanger Clinic to call my doctor's office to verify the prescription and they refused. They were rude and they lost my confidence and trust in their ability to serve my needs. read more

I honestly don't think I ever want to come back here. I've arrived to my appointment on time, had to sit in the car & watch them take patients in as they came in while I'm waiting over an hour for an appointment they gave me yesterday. Wtf?! They actually forgot that I was even outside waiting when I had my appt and was on time! I get back into a room and I've been waiting 30 minutes for someone to come. I've seen faster service at the social security office! This is ridiculous. And all so I can have a bit fitted. That's it! So if you have nothing to do with your time come waste it here, rotting in your car when you came on time but they can't get their shit together. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I was prescribed a 'short cam boot' for a suspected stress fracture of my foot. Unfortunately, the urgent care that I saw on Saturday morning was out of the shorter one. They told me to try Hanger, but I was warned that they might be 'difficult'. They gave me a few other options but said to keep Hanger in mind for a last resort. Now, I don't live inside Savannah, but since the urgent care that I saw was in Savannah, they recommended several places in their local area. On Monday, when all of these places opened from the weekend, I tried my first office (my actual orthopedic doctors office) but they wouldn't give me the boot, even with the RX because I wasn't seen for this particular issue there. Understood. It's liability reasons. They sent me to a place a mile away. That place didn't have the short boot in stock and sent me to another place. They were extremely nice, but unfortunately, didn't have my size boot in stock and wound up sending me to another place. They didn't have it either. So, after driving around Savannah for what seemed like all afternoon, I decided I was at my last ditch effort and drove to find Hanger. I pulled up to the parking lot at 12:20 to find a sign on the door that they were closed this day from 11:45-1pm for a meeting. So I went and ran another errand and arrived at 1:02 when a customer was waiting outside, banging on the still locked door. They opened the door around 1:05 and I asked the receptionist if they had a 'short cam boot' in stock in my size and if they'd be able to fill my prescription. She said yes and gave me paperwork to fill out while scanning my ID and insurance card. I handed her the forms back a few mins later. And sat back down to wait. 1:15-1:20-1:30-1:40-1:45. Still waiting. I politely go up and ask the front desk if she had an eta as I had to be back to pick up my kids from school. This is when she got nasty. She told me that they were still entering my info into the system and that I was a walk in, and there were people with appointments ahead of me. I apologized and said I didn't realize I needed an appointment and that I thought this was a medical supply store- I didn't realize it would be such a production. I had already been diagnosed and prescribed treatment. I just needed the boot. She nastily told me that it wasn't the way it worked there. That's when the other customers took pity on me and gave me names of more local places to try. I had no idea that there were so many DME places around. The first place I called didn't have it either and told me to try Hanger, haha. I told her I was there now and had waited over 40 mins with no end in sight. She gave me another name of a place after that. Then the receptionist had a customer go outside and get me back in- and informed me that the man who would see me has started doing something and he's busy so they're delayed in calling me back. No eta, still. I call the other place and ask if they have the boot and if they can see me. They said absolutely- come on over. I went back inside, asked for my rx and paperwork and left, I was there in 3 mins. Filled out paperwork, and called back immediately. I was fitted for my boot in less than 5 mins and with even paying and some friendly conversation, I was out the door in less than 15 minutes from start to finish. That's how you do business. I know see why I was told to avoid Hanger at all costs. They're awful. Absolutely unbelievably awful. read more

sounds like Kim B.'s anger/disappointment is a bit misplaced... She's from out of town and goes to several other DME places that don't have what she needs, she ends up in a place that can provide what she needs but expects a "drive- through type" service because she's is in a hurry (and probably tired of driving around). I'm rather sure that she was told when she arrived she would be seen as a "walk-in" and that Hanger Clinic is a practitioner-based facility and they are required to see the patient in order to deliver anything. They also have previously scheduled patients that typically take priority over a "walk-in"... They also do benefits checks with patient's insurances so the patient will understand upfront and before they leave, what their potential bill (if any) will be, instead of getting a surprise bill later. I wouldn't call Hanger "difficult", only thorough, which does take time. Their staff is very caring. read more
