My wife Etheline, asked me to write this review for her because she believes I am a better writer…read morethan she is. Despite the fact that I am writing this review, it is in response to what she requested that I say. "My name is Etheline, and because I have been experiencing hip pain for some time, I made an appointment with Carolina Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. I want to express my gratitude to Emma and Katie in particular for their professional assistance. Emma deserves a special thank you because she was the therapy client I looked forward to the most. I wholeheartedly endorse this business for physical therapy."

I was referred to Carolina PT after being referred to another PT place. I had explained to them…read morethat it was going to be difficult to finish my post opt surgery PT for hip surgery due to my other hip needing surgery soon? Carolina PT offered aqua PT which wood reduce impact stress (on said hip and other joints) to allow myself to reach my goals of recovery with less pain! Seeing most of my friends who have had replacement type surgeries have viewed the necessary PT representing some other acronym meaning "Physical Torture" but Carolina PT was far from that. Starting first with meeting Katie the Director and working with their great staff like Emma and others it was overall a fantastic experience and I reached my goals without the pain that had lingered after my previous PT experience. Thank you Carolina PT!

He was not helpful when I had an ulcer on my bog toe (it has since been removed) He was not…read moreaggressive enough to close the hole. He was eager to do surgery to shave off the bone which did nothing to close the hole. Then he moved to the new office. They double booked the appointment. I had Uber take me there and when I was angry about the lack of professionalism both he and his staff were active dismissive. The incompetent Schromoff came out and started yelling at me. It wasnt my fault that they double booked. Horrible doctor and staff. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I picked this location & Dr. Shromoff because he was highly recommended. I am disappointed to say…read morethat I was not impressed whatsoever. First thing that put me off was my wait time. My appt was at 9:45am and I was seen a little after 10:30am. I told myself it was due to being a new patient and tried to stay positive. When I saw the doctor, we talked maybe 5 minutes. I felt for my wait time that was a little ridiculous. One of my reasons for coming in was tightness in my tendons and he just suggested to flex/stretch it and that he couldn't really tell me anything. "Could be a number of things" he said..... Well I thought that was why I came to you but okay, thank you for nothing. (WebMD was just as helpful & free!) The other reason I was there, was for a corn that turned out to be a wart. At least I got some kind of diagnosis for that one. The nurse came in and applied an ointment and wrapped it up because it is suppose to stay like that for 24 hours (4 minimum). So I paid my $165 for a dab of ointment & 5 minutes of their time. The worst part, as I am leaving and get to the 1st floor, the bandages have already started to come off! Seriously!? At this point I am just upset and head back up to let them know. So I went back to the nurse and she bandaged up my foot again, but no more ointment was reapplied. Hopefully it didn't rub off when the band aids and tape came off, otherwise I guess I will need another appt for the same thing! On top of all that the nurse was saying it was due to my foot being clammy/sweaty. I really don't think I am the only one in the world with clammy feet so why wouldn't a foot specialist have something better to wrap feet for just this issue? OR if it is that clammy, don't try to do something that clearly won't work just to get my money. I am not saying this is a bad facility, however my experience with them was awful and I will not be back. Definitely not worth the money I spent or money lost due to time off work. I think HealthFirst or another facility would have been more cost efficient. Live and learn right is what they say right? :-| Hopefully this will help some folks not get ripped off!
