Just love the decor of this place ! It is so nice and calm upon entry. Usually you are helped and called to the back within adequate time. But the wait for a PA or doctor is pretty long. The interior design of this practice is high-end. EpiCentre is an innovative and progressive office. I also notice that they offer many of the latest and most lavish treatments. However, my focus was on my female health. I've been looking for a gynecologist to whom I could relate. Dr. Gleaton is a professional and shows empathy for my health issues. Countless times, the annual exam is quick, and problems have never been addressed. Lately, my energy has been down, and my weight has increased significantly. I came to the EpiCentre for my yearly gynecology exam and then to have my IUD replaced per manufacturer guidelines. When the appointment came, the person trying to remove it started to panic. She kept telling me it was great and made some extremely uncomfortable comments/compliments on my genitalia/functions. She said she couldn't find it, then she couldn't get it out, then told me my iud may be impacted and so I would need an ultrasound, and scheduled me for one the next morning. I came in and was seen and the technician who did the ultrasound said the iud was exactly where it should be and didn't appear to be skewed, stuck or impacted. Then they made me schedule another appointment about a week or two later to try and get it taken out again. The same person who couldn't remove the iud the first time is the person who removed it at this second appointment. She didn't seem to have any trouble this time and clearly didn't remember me because she paid the SAME inappropriate compliments to my genitalia... and then she tried to wrap up the appointment. I was supposed to be getting a new IUD, especially now that I know there was never any trouble with the first one. She told me I had to order one and come back. But we DID order one for the first appointment. So I asked her where that went? And she didn't know. So she told me she would just go take someone else's . This seems pretty inappropriate and like she wanted me to feel bad that she is having to fix her own mistakes. They set a follow up appointment for me which has been cancelled and I have received NO LESS than 16 phone calls and emails about how it's been cancelled. This experience has cost me a lot of money. I tried to reach out to The EpiCentre for help since this was caused by an employee and I have received no calls back. I am STILL getting those automated calls about the appointment they cancelled and no one ever answers when I've tried to call to get them to stop. I will not be returning and that's really disappointing that this has been such a horrible experience because it seems like a nice facility full of nice people. But this has been going on for 10 months. It's going to be a real problem if they send me to collections when I've been unable to get ahold of these people. Worst yet, the woman who I had two appointments with that made the inappropriate comments? She isn't even on the EpiCentre website. She was a lighter skinned lady with dark hair, pretty short. So I can't even name drop. She was nice enough but this was a nightmare and I didn't feel very cared for after such traumatic goings on. read more

By far the best gynecologist office I have ever been to. I've been going here for the past couple years and I cannot recommend enough. From the moment you step in it feels like a spa. It's beautifully decorated. The front desk ladies are always SO welcoming and friendly. I've seen 4 different doctors here and each one I've had an amazing experience with. They always put me at ease and I've always left feeling well taken care of and assured. So glad I found the Epicenter especially now with trying for babies I know this is the office I will use for that. 10/10 recommend! read more

I always come back to finding these reviews during the time of my daughters death. I should have never trusted you. RvW was overturned when I chose you as my OB in 2021. I will always remember how a high risk doctor over ruled you and you changed things and told me NO to any ways to have helped me. Told me to pray with your arms crossed like you didn't gaf. I really had high hopes for this office and MD (Kenosha Gleaton) when I handpicked them for the care of our second pregnancy. I am a registered nurse and briefly worked in the OB department at Roper St Francis Bon Securs in 2020. I quit due to the pandemic as a means of protecting our oldest daughter due to her high risk disease, Cystic Fibrosis. I had interactions with Dr Gleaton as I worked there. She seemed great and was one of the most recommended of the nursing staff at Bon Securs. As I became pregnant in 2021, I made my first OB appt with Dr Gleaton and upon that initial phone call, I asked the receptionist due to Covid, if spouses were permitted in the room for patient appts as I wanted my husband at my side. She said YES. Our first and only visit was April 1, 2021 and I was anxiously awaiting to see the first heartbeat as I was actively bleeding off and on for a week. We already had one high risk pregnancy and it meant a lot to have my husband with me. As we waited, we felt at home with all the Christian decor as we are also strong in our faith and love the LORD. The nurse came up to us and called me back and as my husband stood with me, she threw her hand in in face to stop him. She said, 'you have to stay here' in a very authoritative tone of voice. I informed her how I was told that my husband could accompany me per the secretary that I scheduled with and I inquired why not now, what changed? All she could say was it is their policy that patient only goes back and then my husband could later join me for the ultrasound. I said no, I want him with me the WHOLE time. She stated that they perform a vaginal exam and I had to be alone for it. I informed her that I didn't want a vaginal exam, I refuse that as I know that is NOT standard of care. I have worked high risk OB and it is NOT standard to have a vaginal exam in the first trimester. I didn't have one with my first daughter?!?! I asked her to please talk to Dr Gleaton while we waited so she could come speak with us and understand our personalized wishes and plans. The nurse came back and said that she would not see us. This is "Dr" Kenosha Gleaton for you, she didn't even have the decency to speak to us face to face. I've never met a TRUE Christian to treat a human being like this or an office that wants to throw hands up in someone else's face (my husband was in military uniform); absolutely disrespectful in every way! I cried as I told the nurse we would just go to the ER to have the heartbeat checked. I thought it was an April fools joke as it was a night mare. We sat in the ER at Bon Securs and my husband stayed at my side the whole time per my wishes and we saw our daughter's heartbeat together. We had tears of joy that the Lord protected our baby and He ultimately provided for us through the rest of our pregnancy as we navigated yet another high risk situation. She was also born with Cystic Fibrosis and had mecoium ileus while in utero. We were guided by our CF care team at MUSC with our high risk obgyn with a trial CF drug I took for her in utero. It was a success as her bowel blockage relieved IN UTERO prior to her birth and her story was published in the Elsevier Journal of Cystic Fibrosis by Dr Sylvia Szentpetery and Dr Patrick Flume that went world wide, saving other CF babies and mothers. Title is, 'A case report of CFTR modulator administration via carrier mother to treat meconium ileus in a F508del homozygous fetus.' The Lord is so good and we thank Him for this terrible experience with 'doctor' Gleaton and her office that ultimately led us to where we needed to be to achieve the miracle that we did with our daughter. Wow what a breath of fresh air! I'm so grateful that Dr. Gleaton decided to open her own practice. All of the staff here are so friendly and welcoming. The decor is very nice, clean and calming. And of course Dr. Gleaton herself is amazing. She was the best thing about the last practice she was atbut the staff at Roper was so incredibly rude. I have been a patient of hers for well over 10 (probably close to 15) years; and have recommended her to countless other women over that time. I started my own daughter's GYN care with Dr. Gleaton and she continues in that role today. One day, Dr. Gleaton will likely be delivering my future grandchild/ren. That's how great she is. I'm thrilled with her new endeavor, The EpiCenter! I never considered myself a "spa" or "beauty" kind of woman, but I was excited to learn about the Epic MedSpa aspect of her business, because laser hair removal was a long time desire, but I hadn't known whom to trust. Dr. Gleaton brought in Master Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician, Michelle Shults, so I knew I couldn't go wrong. And I was right!
