I was a new patient and was greeted with friendliness from all staff! It was easy quick in and out annual checkup and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. I seriously recommend this gynecologist for anybody who might be new to Charleston and is looking for recommendations.

I had an appt in April, requested off of work, so that I could be seen and now I'm rescheduled without any confirmation from myself for June for a date that I will be working and yet I call the office multiple times since then, unable to speak to anyone, leave multiple voicemails and no one has returned my call to be rescheduled. Today I got fed up enough to press that I was "calling from another medical facility" extension, finally spoke to a receptionist who tells me she has no available appts until August if I'd like to schedule for a Wednesday. I explain I was originally scheduled in April and already took off of work to be able to make that appt which THEY CANCELLED OR LOST WHEN MERGING SYSTEMS. I try to get scheduled for a Wednesday. She then says, she doesn't have any available Wednesdays in August either and they don't have Dr. Hamilton's schedule past August. Like so I can't be scheduled for a Wednesday ever? Receptionist says I'll have to call back (I've been calling for weeks at this point) when they have the schedule but they are already scheduled as far out as August. Sounds like the office really needs to get their shit and their schedule together and get it together fast to me, before they loose more patients. I'll be on the lookout for a new office.

Dr. Williamson at E.C. Ob delivered my twins and she was such a God send. There were some unexpected developments in the pregnancy and I really feel like I could not have gotten through it without her and the rest of my care team at the hospital. They were all so kind and empathetic, they really went above and beyond. Which is why when we found out we were having another (happy surprise ) we literally moved to be seen here again. Obviously God had opened up other opportunities as well but the pregnancy and having good care was a huge propelling factor in our move and decision to come back to Charleston. My second experience was also fantastic. Not as exciting, more routine but I still got to have Dr. Williamson and everything was wonderful again. I just feel so cared for with them and I wish I could have had these experiences with all of my deliveries. Could not sing their praises enough, and I will always recommend them. Not just Dr. Williamson but all the ladies in the practice! They were so nice and I would have been happy to have any of them take care of me.

After having the same one for 6 years, it was hard to change. I chose Lowcountry OB/GYN after reading some reviews about Lynn Crymes. Let me tell you something- she is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. You go in and it's like you're hanging out with an old friend. She makes you feel very comfortable with being there, which is good- because it can feel completely awkward. The front desk staff is bleh. If it weren't for my doctor, I would probably go somewhere else. The front desk staff at their Mt. P location is also bleh. They aren't my favorites to work with. I just feel like I'm rushed and that they don't care at all. That is why I took away one star. The staff checking out though, great! They let you know about your insurance and if you have anything due. If you need to set up an appointment, they assist you and are pretty accommodating with your schedule.

I asked when they might know when I can get rescheduled and they thought by the end of the week. I waited an extra week before calling and couldn't get through. I booked through MyChart instead for 2/22/26 at 9:45. I showed up for my appointment and the internet was down so they couldn't do anything. The receptionist called the Mt. Pleasant office and they said my appointment was for next week. I showed her the calendar reminder that MyChart saved to my calendar showing today at 9:45. She said she didn't know what to tell me. I have an appointment scheduled for next week from an appointment in Feb that was rescheduled. I told her I never had an appointment in February. I will be taking leave from work for a 3rd time next week with no guarantee I will actually be seen.
