I was a new patient and was greeted with friendliness from all staff! It was easy quick in and out annual checkup and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. I seriously recommend this gynecologist for anybody who might be new to Charleston and is looking for recommendations.

Do NOT go here. I never leave reviews but have felt so inclined to save others from this place…read more This practice is more concerned about making money than about patient experience. I was a new obgyn patient - scared and inexperienced. Trying to ask questions about what to expect. My first appt felt so rushed & the doctor walked out of the door & said "who's next". I also had questions about the billing and concerns with being charged so much for my first appt despite having insurance- Kim & Liz (in billing) were both very dry/rude in their responses when i asked for more info and what to expect billing wise going forward for an uncomplicated preg. kim told me that they wouldn't see me as a patient if i wouldn't pay the 2k global fee for a service i had't even received yet. - mind you, i'm only 8 weeks pregnant at this point & they're charging me for delivery in late February- which i didn't want to pay until Jan 1 as my deductible would reset then & id pay it all in full prior to delivery. They refused to let me do that. I was also wrongly scheduled for my 2nd appt at 12 weeks- they booked me for an anatomy scan and it wasnt until i talked to MUTLIPLE clinicians at other practices they said that this was wrong & they would have wasted a scanmy husband took off work for, time & $. The girls at the front desk had no clue about any of the paperwork you have to sign and gave me blank stares when i asked prior to signing. I am overall VERY thankful i chose to cancel that 2nd appt i had a bad feeling from the moment i went in & it caused so much unnecessary stress which is the last thing a first time mom needs. After speaking to multiple nurses i work with they recommended East cooper or Lowcountry OBGYN. I had amazing experiences talking with the staff at both places and so far felt way more welcomed and warm. Don't let practices bully you & don't give them your business if you don't feel comfortable. Trust your gut.

Dr. Williamson at E.C. Ob delivered my twins and she was such a God send. There were some unexpected developments in the pregnancy and I really feel like I could not have gotten through it without her and the rest of my care team at the hospital. They were all so kind and empathetic, they really went above and beyond. Which is why when we found out we were having another (happy surprise ) we literally moved to be seen here again. Obviously God had opened up other opportunities as well but the pregnancy and having good care was a huge propelling factor in our move and decision to come back to Charleston. My second experience was also fantastic. Not as exciting, more routine but I still got to have Dr. Williamson and everything was wonderful again. I just feel so cared for with them and I wish I could have had these experiences with all of my deliveries. Could not sing their praises enough, and I will always recommend them. Not just Dr. Williamson but all the ladies in the practice! They were so nice and I would have been happy to have any of them take care of me.

Alright, so. After moving to Charleston, it took me a while to find an OB/GYN that fit my needs and…read morecriteria. I am super picky when it comes to my doctors. After having the same one for 6 years, it was hard to change. I chose Lowcountry OB/GYN after reading some reviews about Lynn Crymes. Let me tell you something- she is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. You go in and it's like you're hanging out with an old friend. She makes you feel very comfortable with being there, which is good- because it can feel completely awkward. The front desk staff is bleh. If it weren't for my doctor, I would probably go somewhere else. The front desk staff at their Mt. P location is also bleh. They aren't my favorites to work with. I just feel like I'm rushed and that they don't care at all. That is why I took away one star. The staff checking out though, great! They let you know about your insurance and if you have anything due. If you need to set up an appointment, they assist you and are pretty accommodating with your schedule.

I asked when they might know when I can get rescheduled and they thought by the end of the week. I waited an extra week before calling and couldn't get through. I booked through MyChart instead for 2/22/26 at 9:45. I showed up for my appointment and the internet was down so they couldn't do anything. The receptionist called the Mt. Pleasant office and they said my appointment was for next week. I showed her the calendar reminder that MyChart saved to my calendar showing today at 9:45. She said she didn't know what to tell me. I have an appointment scheduled for next week from an appointment in Feb that was rescheduled. I told her I never had an appointment in February. I will be taking leave from work for a 3rd time next week with no guarantee I will actually be seen.
