A technician came out, serviced the unit, and identified the issue: a faulty blower. He provided a quote for the replacement, which I approved immediately. That's when the problems began. Ten days later, I called for an update and was told the part hadn't even been ordered. Another ten days later, I was informed the part wasn't available, but they could try retrofitting a similar one. When I asked if there were other options, they said no--so I agreed. On the scheduled day, I took time off work, only to receive a call 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive saying they could now order the correct part directly from the manufacturer--something they had previously claimed was impossible. To proceed, I had to pay in full immediately. Fast forward three months, and I still didn't have a working fireplace. For weeks, I was repeatedly told, "It should arrive next week." Finally, after expressing my frustration, I got a call at 5:00 PM saying they had located the part, expedited shipping, and could complete the repair the next day. I took another day off work. The technician arrived--but with the wrong part. Instead of tracking down the actual component, they gave him a universal one that didn't fit. They then assured me the correct part would arrive in two days. This time, my wife took the day off work. The technician showed up an hour and a half late (after I had called and reminded them we had rearranged our schedules for this), but they finally made the repair. Other issues worth noting: I was promised a callback from a manager or owner--still waiting on that. Their phone system is a mess. Every time I was placed on hold (which was often), someone else would pick up and begin a different conversation. I would explain who I was and they would say "oh, let me put you back on park." The three coldest months of winter without my primary heat source, multiple days off work, countless phone calls, and constant misinformation (what my generation would call lies). I will never use this company again.

Hale Electric installed a solar system with a battery backup at my mom's home last year…read more Originally, the system appeared to work. However, during the first power outage we experienced, the backup system never kicked on. What followed was a months-long failure in customer service, characterized by unfulfilled commitments and a lack of technical expertise from Konnor. Reaching the company was nearly impossible. Calls went unanswered, messages were not returned, and scheduled appointments resulted in consistent no-shows. Over three separate visits, Konnor and Kevin failed to resolve our system issues. They provided a string of inconsistent excuses, ranging from "a button was never turned on", there was "a pinched wire", to blaming cold weather for the batteries not charging. We were explicitly told by Konnor that he was no longer certified to work on the specific system he installed, promising to return the following week after recertification--a promise he failed to keep. After months of frustration, we hired a different electrician who diagnosed and fixed the issue in one visit. The root cause was that Hale Electric never properly assigned or connected the backup system. It remains unclear if the service failures were due to deceptive business practices or sheer incompetence by Konnor. Regardless, the experience was unacceptable and we do not recommend Hale Electric to anyone.

I needed an electrician in 24 hrs due to my other electrician postponing on me- and they were able…read moreto help. I had this guy come over and give me a quick estimate, he says "super easy job" which it should have been, then showed up the following day about 40 minutes late, wouldn't have been a big deal but needed to coincide with another trade. He proceeded to tell me how the conduit was going to run a certain direction and be anchored down to the floor so as not to be a tripping hazard (WTF?)- not what we had discussed, and it was obvious he was short cutting the job because he didn't calculate enough conduit or wires to run it the correct direction. Argued horribly with the other trade about a hook-up to some equipment, I had to walk away- it was REALLY BAD! Then he said it was going to take another two hours because he had to go get all new wires and conduit- to which I said "ok". My equipment guys had to leave and come back later since they were waiting on the electrician. Many hours later, it got completed but it was a very unpleasant experience. This guy had horrible manners and was very disrespectful and rude. I was very happy to get them off my property!
