I had a very dramatic and complicated…read moremove of mostly a significant library of textbooks, Victorian heirloom pieces in fragile condition, and awkwardly packed odds and ins out of storage while running on sleep deprivation and sugar and Chris, Dan, and Emanuel were absolutely stellar! Emanuel made sure to walk me through every step of how they work at the each portion of the move, and they rolled with the tizzy [hurricane] of it all with total grace, even empathizing with my sleepy brained monosyllabic gesturing when I couldn't find the right words to direct final placement as they navigated Tetrising everything into a much smaller space filled with obstacles and up narrow stairwells lined with precariously hung canvases and curio shelves. Their rates only look 'just competitive' until you see how fast and smoothly they handle everything. This is my second time using their services and once again I had to race to arrive ahead of them even when I left well before they had finished loading the truck. (Tbh despite seeing them arrive and leave I am still not entirely convinced there isn't a secret fourth 'strapping lad' running the truck, they really seemed to be multitasking in impossible ways sometimes.) Joseph immediately scheduled me for Sunday, August 31st, which was perfect. I was so relieved. Then I asked him if he had any access to a sofa that was maybe being disposed of by another client. Joseph called me immediately and put me in touch with a woman who wanted to get rid of a pretty decent sofa. He set this up and agreed to transfer it for a small fee. On top of being on time, he and his buddy loaded me up in less then an hour. I met them at the new apartment and they brought everything up. The couch was last and there were some really tense moments when we thought it wouldn't fit in the doorway. But they somehow, miraculously got the sofa through the door. I was so incredibly relieved and thankful I hired these guys. They were polite, neat, on time and on task. There was no upcharging me for anything, the price was a flat fee and they stuck to it. I would use this service again in a heartbeat. Joseph says he also transfers new furniture from a store and helps assemble it for a small fee (that's pretty darn reasonable). I hope to get a new dresser and maybe a small kitchen table and will definitely touch base with this moving service to get these items delivered and set up.

George and his team are excellent carpentry and construction workers; their expertise in deck construction has made my deck safer. The only aspect I disliked about the construction was the industrial appearance of the toggle bolts connecting the beam. I plan to apply plastic bolt caps on the studs for a more aesthetic result. Management never provided a detailed invoice. The estimated parts cost was $4000-$4800, while other quotes fell near $2500. I sourced retail costs of #2 grade lumber from Home Depot, and even with shipping, handling, fuel, and fasteners, the total would not approach that range. I will hire them again for another job but will want more detailed costs to budget.
