They have a serious problem with their customer service…read more It's not with the employees that work there they're very good, very helpful, and will do what they can do for you. It's the management. They just don't seem to get it. Guaranteed customer service well that's BS. Now I can't go there anymore out of principle. I'm going to do a more extensive review of this in the coming days. Heck you might see me out there protesting. This goes to the top management of this store location. It's a matter of a principal for me.

Not only is it cool that Makinson is the oldest actively running small business in the state, but the staff go out of their way to assist you the moment you walk through the doors. Home Depot can definitely be hit or miss. Sometimes they have everything you need, and other times…read morethey don't. Most of the time, the customer service is good, but on rare occasions, you may come across a couple of people who make the experience not so pleasant. Anyway, my favorite place in Home Depot is the garden section. I definitely do not have a green thumb, but I love seeing green things and watching things grow. There's just something about walking through the garden section, looking at all the different plants and colorful flowers, that feels like a breath of fresh air. Depending on what you want, you may get a good deal on the plants. Top soil, etc to me are reasonably priced. Again if all depends on what you're looking for. For the most part, I rarely have any issues at the Depot. It's usually a good shopping experience, and even if I don't find exactly what I came for, you can probably find me wandering through the garden section before I leave.

His response showed complete lack of professionalism throwing the manager under the bus. When he rang up my purchase I noticed I got the wrong item. There were steps I wasn't understand, he simply stood there and never offered assistance. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient, which makes the experience even better. On a recent visit, I was especially touched by a kind and empathetic young man who helped me. He asked how I was doing, and I ended up venting a bit -- I've been dealing with knee pain lately. The way he listened and showed genuine compassion and kindness really stood out. It's something we don't see often enough these days, especially from younger people. I, unfortunately, didn't catch his name -- it was short, started with a "J", and he was a tall, Spanish-speaking young man with curly hair. If you know who he is, please pass along my thanks. His kindness meant a lot.
