When I attempted to purchase an item that was 1.38 cents with six quarters. She stood away from register and folded her arms and rolled her eyes. When I questioned her actions . She said she don't want change. I explained that it was still currency. And I told her that she was acting rude. She replied that I was rude and I was the problem. She doubled down by saying that I should go to another store if I didn't like what she said, I replied that I was the customer, and she asked me did I want a pat on the back for that. I was flabbergasted and this isn't the first time she's been rude. My son experienced similar circumstances with the same individual. It is just ridiculous. I've lived in this neighborhood before this store was built, I also have bought product there. I will take her advice and never go back , I feel discriminated against. And it makes me wonder if this type of bias is being encouraged by management. I wonder if Ceo Fazil Malik is aware of the disdain of Black customers and the lack of a customer service experience.
