Then I looked up FL Air Flow Heating & Air and called them. An employee answered, followed up by text for my information and had someone at my house 4 hrs later. The team were polite, quickly applied pressure to push out the clog, and were gone in a matter of 15min or so. Price seemed fair for emergency service. I still haven't heard back from Jenkins, so I think I found my new provider.

They came out and said they cleaned out the vent and lubricated the flap on the outside vent on the roof, and to call back if the sensor code came on again or if there were any problems. Two days later, the dryer code comes on again. I called the company back and explained to them what was going on with the dryer. When I asked if there would be a charge. The company explained the service call was still under warranty, and there would be no charge for them to come back out again. They offered to schedule an appointment to send someone to check the dryer vent. The appointment was scheduled on a specific date and time. The appointment date and time came around, and no one called or showed up for the scheduled appointment. I called them and was told they were running behind; however, someone would be out. I was told by the guy who answered the phone that the technician would call when they were on their way. No one ever showed up. No call, no show, no nothing. Total rip off! Horrible customer service. The person who picks up the phone sounds illiterate. Called another family-owned business and had them come out. I told them what happened. They Roto-Rootered the dryer vent and said a lot came out. They checked the roof vent flap and said the vent was opening fine.

I had a very disappointing experience with J&W Heating and Air…read more I originally called J&W because I was having moisture and condensation issues in my attic and wanted them to determine what was causing the problem. Their own invoice states that the supply plenum was falling apart and causing condensation to drip onto the ceiling. They recommended replacing/rebuilding the supply plenum, and I paid them $1,047 to do that work. My concern is not that there was moisture in the attic. That was the reason I called them in the first place. My concern is that the repair was not done properly. Over time, the moisture continued to cause damage, and the return became so compromised that it was close to falling through the ceiling. At that point, I called Amelia's Best, the company that installed my new HVAC unit. Amelia's Best repaired the immediate damage because the return was in such poor condition that it needed to be addressed right away. J&W then came back out because they were supposed to correct the underlying problem that had caused the damage in the first place. After J&W completed that work, I had Amelia's Best inspect it. Amelia's Best found that the underlying issue still had not been properly corrected and sent me a video showing the condition of the work. I then showed that video to J&W so they could see exactly what Amelia's Best had found. I ultimately added foam insulation to the attic, so moisture is no longer the same issue. However, that does not change the fact that the repair J&W was paid to perform had not been properly completed. Had I not added the foam, the same problem most likely would have happened again. What is especially frustrating is that J&W's invoice states that the $1,047 plenum work carried a one-year labor warranty on company-supplied materials and service. I raised my concerns and asked J&W to refund what I paid for the plenum repair so I could have the work redone correctly, and I also asked them to reimburse me for the damage caused when the repair failed. I provided J&W with photographs, videos, invoices, and documentation supporting my concerns, including the video from Amelia's Best showing that the work was still not properly corrected. Despite that, I do not feel J&W stood behind the work or properly honored the warranty. Subsequently, I also tried to submit a review directly through J&W's website, but the website would not allow me to post it when they saw it was not a positive review. I cannot say why it would not go through, but I wanted to share my experience where consumers would be able to see it. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend J&W Heating and Air to someone looking for a company that stands behind its workmanship and resolves problems when a repair fails.

They did such a great job asked about AC vent cleaning. They gave me a quote and told me I would not have to clean them again for at least 10 years. so hired them to do the job. They guys worked thoroughly, neatly and cleanly, and were very professional. They showed me before and after pics of my vents which made wish I had done it sooner. They had very powerful equipment and cleaned up after the job was done as well as moved furniture back in place. All I have to do is yearly spray an antimicrobial into the vents for maintenance.
