For the first visit then standard cleaning bi-weekly. I just know it probably needs a good deep clean for the initial visit

We just finished up a month long, extremely frustrating, fence project with Kevin. What we were…read moretold would take one week, took 24 days. Kevin was unreliable, didn't show on multiple occasions, would leave the job without saying when or if he'd be back, & was full of excuses for why the job wasn't being done. We are happy to be finished with this frustrating ordeal.

Do not use this company. I actually hired Kevin solely based on a recommendation of a friend who's…read morefence he did back in 2012. Things seemed VERY off from the beginning. He was highly unprofessional. The only time he showed up and stayed on the day he said he would was the final day he has to complete the job. We wrote him a check for materials January 26th and it was just completed yesterday. He advised us of a 2 week wait after that. The 2 weeks came then, just like the above reviewers, the excuses began. First was his truck. Then he tore down our old fence and put up the posts. Left it like that for 4 days. We have 3 dogs and it was incredibly irritating. His reasoning was that it takes 24 hours for the concrete to set. Fine, I look up the Quikrete information and according to the company posts set in 45 minutes a LITTLE longer at temps below 70 degrees. I'm sorry but a little longer is not 3 extra days. The truth was he wouldn't work Friday because he was too worried about playing in his band. Couldn't work Saturday because he had to play in his band at a local bar. Oh, but then on Sunday he can't work because he now has to take his granddaughter to church. The owner needs to learn be honest and keep the timeline HE gave. He finally completed the project and it actually looks nice. He did good work as far as my fence goes. But the problem is getting him here and him actually staying long enough to get anything done. He'll be here one minute and gone the next. I could have hired someone else and had it done in less than a week.

STAY AWAY This has…read morebeen one of the worst experiances I've ever had with a company. They gave me a quote, which I approved. Ignored me for a month and a half. Then told me it was my fault because I never asked for more paper work after approving the quote. Finally got that done and paid them the deposit. They agreed on a time to install the fence. It's now over a month and a half past that window, and they're still unable to install the fence. They never bother to tell me when they're not going to make it or why. Have to call and ask. They've pushed the install date 3 times now. Have spoken to the owner twice now, since the staff rarely answer the phone and don't return messages left at the office. He's very rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Since I paid cash to avoid the 3% fee the charge on cards, I'm just stuck with them until they finish the job or I hire a lawyer, but if I had this to do over again, I'd say run far and run fast to another company.

The short version is this: If honesty and integrity are important to you, RUN in the opposite…read moredirection because this company embraces neither. If you want the details, read on. I will first say that my new deck is spectacular, and that Daniel and his team (Garrett, Floyd and another young man whose name I can't remember) were terrific. Daniel was a hard-working man who took his job seriously and did it excellently. If you could hire him off of G and S books, I've no doubt that the pickiest of clients would be pleased. Unfortunately, he is part of G and S and I would never, ever use them again. Several neighbors have already stopped by the house to admire my new deck and to ask who built it, saying they'd like something similar. I've had the great pleasure of telling them to use any fencing company other than this one. The sad thing is that just a little customer service would have avoided the hard feelings I have towards this company. All they really needed to do was to call me and explain to me why they could not build my deck in a timely manner. Instead, they would call once or twice a week and lie to me. Drake Anderson: once the contract is signed and the check clears, you'll never hear from him again unless you contact him. He did not follow up on a single thing he said he would do, and when he did answer my texts or emails, he lied repeatedly. Oh, but he "apologizes for the inconvenience." Office manager Shea: I don't know what else she does, but I think her primary job is to call the customer twice a week for no purpose other than to lie to them. "They'll be there Monday." "They'll be there Thursday." "They'll be there Friday, will work on Saturday and will come back on Monday to finish the job." Every single time she opened her mouth to me, it was a lie. Travis, the owner: How much does a job have to cost in order for a customer to deserve a return phone call? My $14,000 job apparently wasn't enough. Despite multiple requests, I could never even get him to return my calls. But judging by the people he allows to represent him, I already knew his level of integrity. Most organizations reflect the values of their leaders. Apparently the owner of this company needs a reminder of what his values are supposed to be: WHAT ARE THE MARINE CORPS VALUES? Honor This is the bedrock of our character. It is the quality that empowers Marines to exemplify the ultimate in ethical and moral behavior: to never lie, cheat, or steal; to abide by an uncompromising code of integrity; to respect human dignity; and to have respect and concern for each other. It represents the maturity, dedication, trust, and dependability that commit Marines to act responsibly, be accountable for their actions, fulfill their obligations, and hold others accountable for their actions. (Source: https://www.hqmc.marines.mil/hrom/New-Employees/About-the-Marine-Corps/Values/ Emphasis/bold, mine) Here is my warning: pay their mandatory 3% fee and use your credit card. Do not give them cash! Once they have your money you are at their mercy. If you pay with a credit card you will at least have the ability to contest the charges. When you do that you have the credit card company backing you up. In order to get this company to actually come do the work I had paid them to do, I had to engage an attorney to sue them for breach of contract. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Only after I had engaged the attorney did they finally send a team to do the work. So as I said in the beginning of this review, the deck looks awesome but the company completely lacks integrity.

However, 3 months later I contacted Les about one gate that has become warped and sagging. I asked if there was a warranty for it and he replied that there was. I kept trying to contact Les by phone and leaving voice mails in June to contact me about fixing or repairing the warped gate. He has not returned my calls. I have also sent him emails about it, and have not received any response back. It is now been about 5 months since my first contact about the warped gate to be fixed or repaired, and no response. At this point I am thinking he is not going to honor his warranty or work. I understand that after Hurricane Michael everybody was busy, but he could have contacted me. I DO NOT recommend using Lynch's Fencing.

I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and it looks like I'm the second person to do so. In my…read morecase, Allied Fence Co. installed a fence with a defective gate over a sprinkler head before I accepted their quote and will not correct/repair the defects. To start, I called for a quote while purchasing a new home in Dothan from another state. I called back after receiving other quotes and owner told me he had already installed the fence, without my authorization, and before we even closed on the property!! The fence was installed over a sprinkler head, causing it to malfunction. The gate sagged because they used cheap screws instead of the correctly coated lag bolts. They left string and nails on the top of the fence. They did a really terrible job of cutting the fence around the brick of the house and left large gouges in the wood around the latch. Finally, instead of cutting the boards to fit flush, they just nailed boards on top of each other so they stuck out. I called weekly for four weeks in an attempt to get the defects repaired and was met with a consistent, "we'll get someone out there this week". They did not call back when they said they would. They did not show up. I spoke with the owner on two occasions. He told me that it was my responsibility to move the sprinkler system and blamed the builder for putting the sprinkler heads too close to the property line. Avoid Allied Fence Co. at all cost. They will likely be the cheapest quote you receive, but it comes at a cost. I would never, ever do business with this company again. (See the pictures attached for examples referenced herein.)

No ethics or morals at all. Without one word, they completed the job 3 weeks later they promised to get it done, and added $600 to their bill. The owner came to our house and threatened to come back and dig up the fence if she didn't get the $600 additional payment. If you do business with this company, that's on you. There is no excuse for the corrupt, crooked way they do business. If you look at their reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook etc., you'll see a pattern. 5 years ago they did our original fence because they're a mile from us and the guy was honest and did a hood job. He died. Then you'll see how quickly things turned. I wish I had read the other comments on Yelp and Facebook before I ever did business with these crooks.
