Holly is a one-woman wonder! We were moving out of a 1400 square foot rental and needed the whole place cleaned. She did a phenomenal job in just a matter of hours. She was very thorough and left the bathrooms and kitchen looking like 4 college students had never even lived there haha! Also charged a truly unbeatable price, especially for a new grad like me. Would definitely hire her again! read more

Absolutely horrible house-cleaning experience. I hired her for a deep cleaning because I recently had my first baby, both my husband and I work full-time, and he travels for work. I desperately needed reliable help and provided a list of specific things I wanted addressed. I was willing to pay accordingly and even tipped her for her work. The scheduling has been a constant issue. She rescheduled us three separate times because of conflicts on her end. We hadn't seen her in months, but I had her scheduled this week and next week to help get our house ready for our son's first birthday. This week, our son was slightly under the weather, so I told her I would keep him in his room while she cleaned. Instead of simply communicating with me, she proceeded to cuss me out and told me she couldn't come next week because she was moving, even though we were already on her schedule. She then pushed our next appointment all the way to the end of October. The cleaning itself has also been extremely disappointing. Several things I specifically requested were barely touched or not cleaned properly. When I expressed my concerns, she called me repeatedly while I was at work and left nasty voicemails, cursing at me and telling me how ridiculous I was for providing a list. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a deep cleaning to be thorough or to provide a list of priorities when I'm paying for a specific service. If she disagrees with a request, there are professional ways to communicate that without cursing at or insulting a customer. After the repeated scheduling issues, poor quality of cleaning, and the way my concerns were handled, I would not recommend this business. I was simply looking for reliable help while balancing a full-time job, a baby, and a husband who travels for work, and this experience created far more stress than it was worth. read more

Holly did an absolutely amazing job cleaning our apartment! Her prices were more than reasonable. We cannot recommend Holly enough. She was very easy to work with and was very considerate of our two cats. read more

Holly is awesome. She was recommended to us by our real estate agent because we needed someone to clean our rental property. We wanted someone smart, good and dependable and we needed someone fast. Holly was/is all of these things and more. We've hired her twice now to do a full house cleaning. Here are the key reasons why we're giving her 5 stars: - She was crystal clear in our first telephone conversation about what she does and what she does not do, and she provided a meaningful, typical-average price estimate (unlike other companies that we called that wanted to come by to 'give us an estimate' and wouldn't talk money over the phone), and her final charges were totally consistent with what she described. - She showed up at the agreed time and texted me 'one week before' and 'one day before' to confirm our appointment. I haven't received this kind of service from almost anyone but my dentist. - She did a great job cleaning our home. She solicited feedback from us on the work she did (BEFORE she left!), and guided a final, joint-walkthrough of the house to be sure we were happy with the results. - She was totally responsive to our needs as we had expressed them. Holly made the point, "everyone has particular needs around cleanliness!" I hadn't actually thought about that much before. She is absolutely right. She gets it. We felt like she cared, and she does. - Her invoices felt great! She works incredibly hard and we felt her services were great value. Holly's business name truly states it clearly: She gets it done, and she gets it done as requested, well, expediently, and professionally. Thank you Holly! Lastly, and this arguably may be the most important aspect of having ANY household cleaner come into one's home: she was really personable, kind, down to earth, and really pleasant to be around. We felt totally comfortable having her work around us as we worked at our jobs, and felt comfortable with her poking into all of the corners of our home, because ... well folks, this is what cleaners have to do if they are good! And this was HUUUGE to us! THANK YOU HOLLY FOR YOUR GREAT AND KIND WORK! WE WILL BE IN TOUCH!!! read more

Holly is amazing! She has a great attention to detail and very reasonable prices! She works quickly and efficiently without missing a spot! She was SUPER friendly and especially nice to our husky (who is the main reason we needed our apartment cleaned lol). We will definitely be using her regularly! read more

Holly is unbelievably good, communicates really well, and as an added bonus had a conversation with us about using organic and nasty chemical-free cleaners, which we really appreciated. She is always incredibly thorough and does a tremendous job. She cleaned our house every other week and made the place look like new. She was always respectful if one of us were on a work call and would always ask where we would like her to start. She is so friendly and after we got to know her, it was like she was just a part of the family and could just walk in and get going. The dog loved her and she always showered him with love, which was an added bonus. Overall, we can't recommend Holly enough. She does an incredible job, leaves the house looking good as new, communicates super well (which is massive for us), and was incredibly attentive to detail! read more

Holly is a real treat. She was extremely thorough and attentive to even the smallest details of cleaning. Thrilled with my recent experience! Holly was quick to respond, nothing but kind and extremely good at her job! Was in a pretty bad situation with a nightmare Subleaser who nearly destroyed my apt. She totally transformed it! High recommend and will certainly use her in the future! read more

I was moving out and needed the house clean for the next tenant. Holly came in and did an amazing job. You can tell she takes pride in her work and I'm glad I called her. read more

I found 'Gettin' It Done!' Cleaning service on thumbtack.com. Holly was easy to communicate with and did an excellent job. I had a really grubby rental house, and posted it on a Friday night. Holly met me at 9a, Saturday morning, took detailed notes of my preferences and discussed options with me. I left a lockbox for her to come back later and she took charge from there. The house now looks (& smells) wonderful. Holly says she tends to use "green" products for her own well-being, she's not a fan of chlorine bleach (b/c of the fumes etc.) which is absolutely fine with me. The house was a dirty mess and is now sparkling clean, Thanks to Holly & her family/team. Everyone was super gracious/professional/polite and THOROUGH. I'll be calling Holly back the next time I need her help. read more

Holly has been cleaning my son's apartment for several years. She has been so reliable in making arrangements with him to set up a mutually convenient schedule. She goes above and beyond in helping him get organized and keep on top of the daily cleanup. She is a real people-person, and I would recommend her without hesitation to not only clean, but also to organize and get rid of clutter! read more

It's amazing when a property that has long suffered from a lack of maintenance is transformed by something as simple as a great deep cleaning to the point where the place feels much lighter and brighter. Holly, the owner and doer of Gettin It Done is a wonderful communicator. She clearly outlined the expectations up front and inquired about any special considerations or concerns. She reviewed the scope of work three weeks before the job and then followed up a week before the start date and again the day before. She even notified me of her arrival and departure since I was out of town. She found the breakers in the electrical panel turned off and took the time and care to turn each breaker on one by one. Holly touched every base. She was thorough, detailed oriented and systematically attacked a tough job with such organization, precision and personal care that her work was transformational. However, the results can only truly be measured in light of the fact that when Holly came out to clean, the floors had been re-stained just two days prior and the house completely closed up. Even though the strong odor of fresh stain is unbearable to most, Holly never once complained and did such an amazing job on my home. This factor alone demonstrates the high level of her performance, her grit and her determination. Holly takes such care and pride in her work that I would highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a dedicated cleaning professional and wants to Get It Done right! read more

I was moving out of Tallahassee and I needed my apartment cleaned out by the end of my lease. Tried getting in touch with other cleaners and Holly was the only one to promptly respond and was available without a problem. Holly is the kind of person that takes the utmost pride in the work that she does and only does the very best. Her energy was focused on getting the job done and I was more than happy with the final result. Thanks again Holly!! (Plus she also pet sits/feeds which is amazing!) read more
