After a VERY cold uncomfortable shower, we deduced that our hot water heater was probably dead, so…read morewe did what most people would do- hopped on the Home Depot website and picked a new one then hit the I need an installer button... Moments later we were contacted by a local plumber who would have been happy to charge us $1700 to replace our water heater (it's a 40 gallon basic tank!) so we politely said no thank you, and were then contacted by someone who could not give us any information at all. Frustrated, I turned to Yelp- just to look for a local plumber. I had no idea there was a service recommendation tool on here!!! Anyway, I put our information in and waited for a call back from "five local plumbers" within seconds I got several texts from different local companies. I opened them one by one and they were all pretty generic except one, this one. The text was personally written and then followed up with a rough estimate without me even needing to ask. So, we called William, he picked up right away and came to the house within 20 minutes to take a look at our situation & verify what we needed. We had an old used up water heater with a leaking expansion tank and the pipe from the water heater to the wall had obviously leaked at one point because there was a small mold ring. William told us we would be fine with a 40 or 50 gallon and a small expansion tank, he told us to pick one about the same height as the one we had to avoid more pipe work, and as his original text indicated, he said he was available Wednesday afternoon. (This was a Monday afternoon that we initially contacted him) So we ordered what we needed from a big box store that offered delivery. As promised, and right on time William showed up, pulled our old water heater out and installed a new one in just a couple of hours! He cleaned up behind himself and the new install is clean and flawless. He was respectful, honest and transparent through the entire transaction- oh, and his estimate of was spot on even though he had to run to ace hardware mid job. Hopefully we don't have any more plumbing disasters, but if we do- we will be sure to call William!

They sent a guy out that does not know how to do it, he normally does sewer plumbing, but the guy who normally does it was out sick (Which I understand). But the guy who showed up didn't even know how to use the tool to remove the cartridge. Luckily my husband was home and showed him how the tool worked. After using the tool part of the cartridge was stuck, this happens every time and the next step is using a drill to get the rest out. My husband told him this, yet he continued to try other things and waste time. Finally he used the drill and got the rest out, he puts the new cartridge in and drops the pin in the wall. He then had to leave, get a new pin, and come back to put the pin in. Did his time exceed an hour, yes, but it was because he had no idea what he was doing. But I had to pay for him being here for over an hour, 1st hour $179, second hour $140, cartridge $80. This was way overpriced for what I needed done. The guy was nice, he just didn't know what he was doing, and I shouldn't have had to pay for his lack of knowledge when I scheduled someone to come out that does know what they are doing. I will never use them again.

I'm posting this review for my mother who doesn't know how to do this…read more She had received quotes from other companies and everything just felt wrong like the technicians would talk down to her or just say it's $9k take it or leave it. I am writing to formally address a dispute regarding the water heater installation services…read moreprovided by Climate Experts. Below is a detailed account of the situation, including the timeline, agreements, and subsequent issues: Timeline and Agreements Initial Quote and Agreement: On 5 February 2025, Climate Experts provided a quote for installing a customer-supplied water heater. The quote explicitly stated: "The replacement water heater can be installed either in the attic space where the existing one currently is (provided it fits in the attic access), or it can be installed in the garage. Either location, pricing valid for either.", "*Installation includes all required wiring & water lines." Pictures and requested information were provided by my realtor to assist in preparing the quote. Additional detailed pictures of the house layout were available online via the property listing. I signed the quote on 7 February 2025 and paid $2,150 on 9 February 2025. Tech Visit and Refusal to Install: The technician arrived at the property and stated that the supplied water heater could not be installed in the attic due to its hybrid nature, weight concerns, and potential condensation issues. I requested that the water heater be installed in the garage, as explicitly stated in the signed quote. Climate Experts refused, claiming the situation was not as expected and that installation in the garage would cost more than the quoted and paid amount. Forced Purchase of Additional Water Heater: Due to time constraints related to the sale of the house, Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, leaving me with no choice but to purchase the recommended water heater for installation in the attic. The new water heater was installed with an invoice dated 17 February 2025 and signed 13 February 2025. Issues and Concerns Failure to Honor Signed Quote: The signed quote explicitly stated that the water heater could be installed in the garage. Climate Experts refused to honor this agreement, citing additional costs and unforeseen circumstances despite having sufficient information (pictures, listing details, etc.) to prepare the quote. Lack of Due Diligence: Climate Experts did not send a technician to inspect the property prior to providing the quote, despite my realtor offering flexibility to accommodate a visit. This oversight led to inaccurate assumptions and subsequent issues. Leverage of Time Constraints: Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, forcing me to purchase an additional water heater to meet the inspection requirements for selling the house. Financial Impact: I incurred additional costs due to Climate Experts' refusal to honor the original agreement and their lack of due diligence.

I was at my wits end trying to get a plumber in the county to come out and see some polybutylene…read more(PB) piping at my water heater that my new homeowners' insurer wanted removed and replaced. I made a list of five companies to call and for some reason I started with the second on the list, Plumbing Masters. I was a bit concerned by several 1-star ratings, but most were from more than five years ago. When I called on Monday, I was surprised that I could get a Tuesday (today) appointment. I needed to have the work done NLT June 15. I think that I was fortunate that PM sent Will who examined my water heater and the PB piping, called his boss, and told me that he was cleared to do what was needed. It took Will only an hour to remove the PB piping and replace it with the latest piping material, a kind of new and more flexible version of PVC. The price was reasonable at $369. Will upgraded a release device. (The "come out" fee of PM is $125, which gets built into the work.) Needless to say, I will hired PM again, especially if the office can send Will.

To whom it may concern:…read more I am writing this email to express our profound disappointment in one of your Brevard Cty, Fl. plumbers, Nathan. We contacted your office April 22, 2024, requesting repairs to dripping faucets in both the kitchen and bathroom at one of our numerous rental properties we have in the area. Nathan provided no notice of when he would arrive to perform the repairs at our 1718 Morning Glory property in Melbourne, Fl. He called to inform us that he had installed a cartridge in the faucet in the bathroom, at a cost of $194. He didn't bother to check to make certain the problem had been fixed. When he found that it was still dripping, he quoted us a price of $900 plus to replace the valve in the bathroom. When asked if he had checked the kitchen faucet, he said that his work order was only for the bathroom faucet. He informed us that if he couldn't replace the cartridge, we would need to replace the faucet. He couldn't replace the cartridge, did not have a kitchen faucet on his truck, and said that we would incur another trip-charge. When asked why that fee should fall to us, he said that it wasn't on his order. When informed that we specifically stated that we needed repairs to both the bathroom and kitchen sinks, he said, "I wasn't there." He made no effort to resolve the matter with his office. We asked how much we owed for the work already done; he stated that it was $194. We informed him that we were displeased with the service, stop performing other services, and we would contact another plumber. When informed, he abruptly terminated the call. We have used Plumbing Masters at some of our other properties and have been pleased with their services. However, Nathan's conduct was completely inappropriate and reflects poorly on the fine reputation Plumbing Masters has created. Very Disappointed, Tom
