In the front, they scraped and prepped the entryway, front door, and 2nd floor bay window as well as removing and patching the transom frame to open the space up--they then painted everything including the window trim across all three floors. In the rear of the home they scraped our wood siding and replaced any rotted wood with PVC, then repainted in a color drench. The team also removed a wood basement entry structure that was rotting in the back and replaced with a newly framed door. Lastly the team also removed old and installed new custom basement windows in the front granite of our home including new trim and waterproofing, as well as painting. The team also did small finishing touches at no extra charge including installing a new entry light and hanging window boxes. We are already planning future projects with Mario and his team!

I hired Justbo Painters and paid a $3,100 deposit after walking the owner through my kitchen,…read morebedroom, and back entryway, all of which we discussed painting. He also agreed to paint all of the kitchen cabinets (upper and lower) and complete tile work. After the deposit, a written contract was created that listed only the kitchen and cabinets. When I reviewed it more closely, I realized it did not match the scope we had discussed. I informed him that I would not be doing the tile work and simply asked that he finish painting the kitchen and the cabinets as agreed. He refused and kept $3100. He worked in my home for about a week, several hours a day, and the amount of completed work was minuscule. The upper cabinet doors were left in the basement, not reinstalled and the lower cabinets were not painted at all. My kitchen was left unusable and in disarray. I have photographs documenting the unfinished work and the condition of the space. While he was working, he repeatedly interrupted me with explanations of what he was doing, despite telling him that I trusted him and needed to focus on my own work. The level of professionalism was substandard. Despite multiple requests, he refused to return to complete the job but kept the full $3,100. This occurred the week of Thanksgiving and caused significant disruption and distress, as I was left with an unfinished kitchen and no resolution. I trusted him to complete the work we agreed on, and was left with a mess. I have since consulted two independent painters who confirmed that the work completed does not come close to $3100 and is closer to $1000.00 Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business and would encourage anyone to go elsewhere. It was disastrous and extremely upsetting.

On the exterior there was some nasty old alligatored paint on the porch that needed to be painted over and some window touchups. I was pleased to see that they were concerned about lead as we were. He had a HEPA vac and used drop clothes from getting any dust anywhere. We went away for a week and they worked hard throughout the whole time we were away. The ceilings were pretty hard to fix and he did a good job matching the existing texture that was there. He also offered to paint a small hall that we didn't originally include in the quote.
