Had to throw out furniture because of the problem. Reported the issue to my insurance company. They hired Mr Rockwell to issue an assessment report the mold was "incidental" and needed no (insurance covered) mold Remediation. Meanwhile, the mold in the air was bad enough to force the doctor to prescribe 3 antibiotics to get me past the dark spot on my lungs X-Ray showed. Do not hire him. I doubt he knows what the word "ethic's even means. Just to let you know, another licensed mold remediator came in before Mr Rockwell, after the first mentioned report showed dangerous levels ofold contamination, give me a $17,000 Remediation estimate. Does tell Mr Rockwell's indication to the insurance company (WHO OAID HIM FOR HIS REPORT to deny me benefits of the policy) was at the very least incorrect in his reported assessment that the mold issue was "incidental " only!!?!

Though 315 specializes in roofing and gutter services, I also needed assistance with some other things to prepare the house for winter and ensure that all would be sound during the months we're away. My friend assured me that Matt (the owner) does "just about everything" and is, in her experience, always a pleasure to deal with. When I spoke to Matt on the phone, he seemed knowledgable and immediately put me at ease. He explained that he could handle most of my areas of concern, including keeping pine cones out of the gutters. In person, he was friendly, professional - and quite the perfectionist. As it turns out, Matt and his team can take on all sorts of "handyman" tasks - anything from painting and landscaping to basic repairs, clean up jobs, demo work and installing insulation. In just two afternoons, they not only got my gutters in shape, but also helped reorganize part of the garage (mostly by helping to move heavy things), weatherized all the windows and replaced some old insulation in the attic. So far, the gutter guards they installed are holding up well; having help with the garage project we had been putting off (and dreading) was a godsend, and we are happy to know that our upstate retreat is now a lot more energy efficient. I look forward to saving money on future energy bills and would definitely recommend 315 to anyone in the area who needs gutter help, weatherization services or general "handyman" services.

I got a text message (he didn't even bother to call) at 6 the evening before saying that one of his guys had covid and he MIGHT have to cancel. I begged him to please find a way to come as we scheduled this appointment so I would have an outlet for a new fridge that I was having delivered. I also had a couple of lights that needed installing and a switch that needed to be moved along with a light. He said he would keep me updated and would reach out in the morning. Two days later and I have not heard from him. I assume the truth is they found a job that was more beneficial payment wise and decided they could do without my business. This actually worked out for me! The owner Shawn from CNY Electrical took my call and listened to what happened to me and said he would ask one of his guys to come out the following day. CNY Electrical came out this morning and did the same job for $100 cheaper! The work was done exactly the way I wanted it and Jason was amazing! He explained everything he was doing and even guided me in setting up my Ring devices. He was polite and cleaned up after he was completed with the job. I highly recommend this company for any electrical work that needs to be done. I will certainly be calling them when it is time to renovate the downstairs of my home as well as outdoor lighting that I will be installing. Thanks again for coming through on a pinch CNY Electrical! STAY FAR AWAY FROM BERGOVIC ELECTRIC. He appeared to be such a nice guy, which is why I went with them at first, but learned fast that his shady disposition was not too far from the surface.

Having had a conversation prior, about possible colors and styles I was looking for, he had a number of options with him, which happened to have exactly what I was looking for, although he offered to view other selections at the store. I chose a mid-grade carpet with extra thick padding for insulating factor. Bill was friendly and informative, not at all pushy. Three bedrooms, all above the garage, had cold floors due to old pad and carpeting in this home I purchased 3 years ago. My other floors are beautiful hardwoods, but that would not be practical for warmth and comfort. Bill's brother and a worker did the installation, and I could not be happier. Bill called partway through installation to tell me the two smaller bedrooms were done and master was next. His brother called to tell me they were done and leaving, and I arrived home right after. What a beautiful job, and there were cut-ins in closets and one room, you would never know existed. No seams, one piece, and brother called a little while after I was home to see how I liked it and said to call should I have any questions or issues. Amazing customer service, excellent work, and reasonably priced! Keep it local and give Bill a call.

Iron Horse Gutters is a top notch company! My neighbor had them install their gutters years ago so…read moreI thought I would use them. Plus, I did a search on the internet and they had very good reviews. I was very happy to say the least! At first , I had one independent contractor try to fix a leaky gutter and hundreds of dollars later the front one still leaked! So, I called Iron horse. They came out and within 15 minutes replaced the piece of the gutter that prevents leaks and for 100.00 bucks! No more leaky gutter and I was happy. They didn't try to sell me anything after that job. So, I had them come back months later to replace the back of the house gutter and with the top covers to prevent leaves and debris from getting in. They came back to check on the work because I thought I had an issue with water. It wasn't the case. However, they were quick to check it out. I would highly recommend them. Steve R. Syracuse, NY

BUYER BEWARE Less…read morethan a week after I had gutters installed by Iron Horse of Syracuse in January 2021, leakage problems had to be fixed at two separate sections. Again this year, in the exact same two spots, the same problem: the leakage resumed. Last year one of the owners (Ben) first insisted that it was a roofing problem, but when the other owner (Eric) came with him after I pressed the issue, one section was replaced. The other section was sealed. The moral of the story? Despite the same problems, in the same two sections, video, audio, still pics and all ... again, the co-owner (Ben) blames the roof--even when two separate Syracuse roofing company assessments say otherwise. My guess is that he's likely telling the same line to other customers, which is why I'm posting this review. Videos and pictures, thankfully, clearly show what I consider to be the shoddy work of this company. Specifically and importantly, they show the roof edge is intact along the entire edge. More to the point, they show the huge gap between the soffit and the gutter that was installed in January 2021 by Iron Horse. Pictures do not lie. My conversation with the same co-owner today (Ben) made abundantly clear that he could care less. Initially he offered a refund when he thought I was buying his roofing story, until I called his bluff and said 'yes.' Then, his story changed. Again. If you can avoid this company, please do. You will almost surely save yourself a headache that's hardly worth their lower pricing and quick (shoddy) work. I'll post an update once I get these sections replaced by another gutter company that doesn't operate 'in the gutter.' I'm guessing that a lot of the 5-star reviews from "customers" that have posted only 1 review are likely fake. That should tell you all that you need to know. Or, maybe it's just that every customer won't get the same 5-star service as the other "customers" here.
