If you are in need of physical therapy to rehabilitate an injury, Dr. Monstein is the person to see. She and her staff are warm and welcoming. Allow me to summarize the numerous injuries I have had treated at Hands on Health. Starting in the summer of 2008 with a partially torn quadriceps tendon, I have also rehabbed a torn right labrum in my right (throwing) shoulder with separation, subluxation of my left shoulder, strained left hamstring, torn latissimus dorsi, patella tendinitis in both knees, fractured fibula that required surgery with a plate and screws and most recently (this summer into fall) a torn adductor muscle. I am a former Division 1 football player, so my ability to play sports and train at an optimal level is of the utmost importance to me. Without Dr. Monstein and her staff, I would not be back on the field like I am today. She evaluated each injury and set goals for me throughout the entire rehab process. I had a bounty of questions with each injury, ranging from, "Is this pain normal?" to, "When can I play football and go back to the gym?" Dr. Monstein answered each question and created a plan for me to get to the level of performance I was accustomed to before each injury. There were a few serious injuries that I thought would jeopardize my athletic endeavors, but Dr. Monstein's care, knowledge and guidance lead me back to the field and gym. Chances are I will incur another injury at some point because of the amount of sports I play and how much I train. For anyone reading this review: I will return to Hands on Health with full confidence should this happen. I have seen Dr. Monstein work with other patients during my time in the office and experienced the benefits of her care myself. If you are looking for quality individual care to rehab an injury or other condition, I suggest Hands on Health. read more
