My wife and I go here regularly. We both used to have strong back pain before trying this place,…read morebut after a couple of sessions and following the advice from the therapists I can tell that her back pain is better, but my back pain is totally gone! Make sure to always stretch and exercise though, that is also super important, don't expect that just by getting massage everything will go away, it will still get better though. All the therapists so far were great, Chiho, George, Don, these are the ones I can speak for, but I heard from my wife that the other girl is also good, I believe her name is Julia. As soon as you walk in the door, past the stairs, you just feel this relaxing atmosphere. The place is clean, staff is friendly and they have a new easy online booking system, but space is limited so being on time is important. I once missed my appointment and had to reschedule, but staff were still extremely helpful and arranged another one for me on that same day. You won't find better customer service than Japanese customer service, it is top notch anywhere you go, and this place is no different.

The massages are nothing short of miraculous and provide complete relief and what I call my "reset" . I work long hours carrying a heavy camera on Toronto film sets . Therapists at TSC will do traditional Shiatsu and also Acupuncture .They also use "moxibustion" and now have added a very interesting Japanese oil massage. Some of the therapists are RMT or have the acupuncture certification. The therapist I see most often (when she is available) is Chiho Yamaguchi . Thanks to TSC. I think that Japanese shiatsu adds a few years on to our lives. I have probably sent over 50 people through the years and I have always heard high praise .

But more than anything, their RMTs are top-notch: skilled, professional, pleasant. Special shoutout to Manuela, who has helped me deal with various aches and pains all these years. I think the best way to describe how Manuela treats you is she listens with her hands - she never just goes through the motions or just sticks to a checklist. While she asks you at the start where the problematic areas are, she is also always hyper-aware as she goes through the treatment on areas you never thought needed a bit more work. Would highly highly recommend Manuela and Bayview RMT.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My friend wanted to take…read moreus out for an RMT foot massage earlier this week. We both have coverage through benefit plans and paid a $25 premium for an RMT massage. King Thai Massage did not mention that they would not be covered by SunLife and when my husband put the claim in through later that night it was rejected as King Thai Massage is a delisted provider. I am now out $60 on something I assumed would be 100% covered. I requested some accommodation by just refunding me the $25 RMT premium and the location refused. Needless to say I will never go back and I hope to warn others ahead of time as well.

The receptionist softly asked me to take off my shoes then gave me a form to fill out. She asked me what type of service I would like. I chose an hour combination Thai and and Swedish. I was taken to a room with massage bed and given scrubs to change into. I had PTA, a gentle lady, who asked me to tell her what complaints I had. She gently but with strength went over my entire body and massaged and stretched while breathing deeply. I walked out of this place feeling very loose and relaxed. I would certainly return.

I had sprained my lat at the gym and was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication by my doctor. By the third week I was still experiencing pain and stiffness, needless to say I was fed up. I decided to go to a sports injury therapist and found Matvey Kipershtein at YMT. After one session with him I was free of my pain. The next day I no longer had the pain or stiffness and within a couple days I was back at the gym. Matvey is skilled, knowledgeable and honest. He knows his stuff and will answer any questions you have. There was never any pressure for follow up appointments and during my appointment there was never any feelings of a time constraint (as stated in the three star review).

I was taken into a room where my feet were soaked in an aromatic hot water bath. I felt relaxed from the get-go. My massage therapist was Anna. She was fantastic. She was excellent and massaged really well, from the knee down. She focused a lot on my lower legs which she explained would help with sore feet. I trust her! My hour flew by and she carried on for an extra few minutes. How awesome is that? I feel thoroughly rejuvenated and can't wait to visit again!

I was skeptical of Massage Therapists because the ones that I had treatment from in the past were not proficient enough to assist me with rectifying my injuries and conditions, and let's say they didn't give forth a great effort. The RMT's at The Treatment Room actually care about your health, they are constantly improving because they care about the patients and their practice. Every visit you will have the same consistency of care (100 percent effort). The rooms are clean with calming decor and the RMT's are as professional as it gets. I recently moved to Edmonton Alberta 2 years ago and I am still looking at trying to find a RMT practice that even comes close to The Treatment Room. You will not find a better practice out there.
