I almost had to ask her to take it down a notch. She especially went crazy on my calves and I thought I'd be crippled the next day. After a day of feeling sore I felt great. Knots loosened. My gf liked her massage as well. Softer yet effective. Be sure to be vocal about how intense you'd like your massage. More or less. We had June as one of our massuses I forgot the other's name. Very nice receptionist who made us feel comfortable in our massage room as we arrived 30min early. We just hung out and relaxed. Only negative is the air vents were filthy.

Courteous, considerate - attention to detail. He also had some great advice on breathing techniques for relaxation and suggestions for how I can better relax when I am at home. I admit to having fallen asleep or into a trancelike state somewhere mid-way through my massage. Massage Addict offers up a membership program that allows for 1 massage/month and from what I understand a lot of flexibility. Their 'perks' are better (more clearly) outlined than the local competition (and I researched before going for my trial). I'm a fan. The facilities were clean, I was kept warm under blankets and there was a heating pad involved. The music was very ambient - piano jazz I think at one point. That is a nice change from the usual wood pipe flutes.

With restrictions finally lifting, I beeped in for a massage with Vanessa. Probably the best…read moremassage I've ever had, truly needed this one since I've been beating myself up while working out at home due to gyms remaining closed. She assessed my problem areas prior to getting to work, which I appreciated. This was no joke or relaxation session. If you have anything that's bothering you, she can help. I've already booked 2 more appointments in the coming weeks since I know she will gain popularity quick and her bookings will fill up fast. Prior to addressing issues, Vanessa discussed them with me and what kind of work would be beneficial to address my pain. Looking forward to my next appointment already!

I wouldn't recommend massage here if you're suffering from any sort of injury as the therapists…read moredon't seem particularly experienced in that area. My regular massage therapist had to cancel last minute and since I was in so much pain I booked a last minute massage here. I told the massage therapist that I had really aggravated my post concussion symptoms, so she thought a good idea would be applying pressure to the middle of my head and massaging that area. Not a good idea as it caused much further aggravation. I told my chiropractor, regular massage therapist, and family doctor what happened, and they were just absolutely baffled why a therapist would do that to a post concussion syndrome client and confirmed that this has what led to a major setback for me. I informed the office of what happened but no response. I'm sure this place is OK for relaxation massages but don't make the same mistake I did and come here for more serious muscular and nerve issues.

I've been treated by multiple RMTs and they're all very good and professional. I come here to address athletics related issues rather than for relaxing, indulgent massages, though I'm sure many clients come here for that too. The rooms are quiet, simple and peaceful (some nice washrooms there too!). Sign up for their last minute club if you think you'll be a repeat client as subscribers are notified via email about last minute appointment availabilities. If you take advantage of those times, you may also receive $10 or more credits to use at another appointment.

I've been going to Tuina Toronto for many years whenever I visit Toronto, but unfortunately, after…read moremy last visit, I will never go back. I always request the owner, Yang, for a massage, and while I had come to learn that this meant interruptions during my massage as he answered calls or wrote receipts, the last time was over the top. I had made an appointment for 5PM. We started at 5:15PM, and within minutes, he left. He sent someone else to continue while he wrote an insurance receipt. Again, as I was accustomed to interruptions, but still enjoyed his service, so I waited. I did not like the technique of the person massaging me, so I said I would wait until Yang came back. Over 15 minutes later, he returned. When I said, that was way too long, he started YELLING at me that I was exaggerating about how long I was left waiting. He continued in this manner until two of his staff members came in and kept telling him that he should apologize to me instead of getting angry at me. He didn't apologize, but said he would give me an extra 10 minutes free. I should have gotten off the table, but my body really needed a massage before travelling, and I knew I would not get another appointment elsewhere in the time I had left in the city. He finished the massage without giving me the extra time, and again argued with me that he never said that. Then, to add to it, he read the meaning of my tattoo and made a comment about how I should adhere to the meaning of it! Cherry on top - I got bed bug bites from laying on the bed - something I had not experienced before in all the years going there. As mentioned, I accepted a level of lack of professionalism with timing in the past as I enjoyed his service, but this was over the top, and requires being reported, especially with the new unsanitary conditions. Very unfortunate outcome.
