A lot of elbow without proper warm up and it just felt like she was ruffling with the sheets most of the time, and very rough massaging around the neck. Like why??? Is that technique??? At one point I stopped her and had to ask, "is this an RMT massage?? " she said all RMTs are different. Really? They are pretty similar to me... I'm in more pain after the massage than before. The massage experience was divine!! I had to try the Thai massage and it's my new go to now. Totally different from what I was expecting. Knots were released and i was comfortable. I came here for a massage and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The massage therapist was really nice but the massage hurt from start to finish. This was probably the second worst massage I have ever received. The entire massage was painful but I thought, pain today means I'll feel good tomorrow. Boy was I wrong! I went in with tight muscles and left with soreness. After the massage I began to experience stabbing pain in different parts of my back. I have suffered an injury in the past but none of my precious massages have resulted with stabbing back pain after the massage. I normally go for deep tissue massages and this felt nothing like the massages I am used to. This massage is also completed with the client wearing all of his or her clothes. I did like the slapping technique they used at the end of the massage but I will not return for another massage. read more

I really like the deep tissue massage that they have here. Very relaxing and I liked how the therapist also provided a treatment to my shoulders and lower back. It was a bit painful and sore during the session, but it was definitely worth it, I feel that my muscles is not as tight anymore. This place is an open concept, but I feel that it wasn't too bad. They had soft, calming music playing and it was quite relaxing to hear it during the massage. My overall experience with this place is great; I will for sure come back for ongoing treatments and recommend it to my family and friends. read more

Worst massage i ever had. Dont do it! The experience is not private. You see and hear other customers - you're only partly separated by curtains. The place also smells. I have never experienced anything like this. It was like torture. All they did was rub against my bones through my clothes and bruised me. I normally have very strong deep tissue massages but these people barely rubbed any muscles (if at all). I really dont feel like they know what theyre doing. It was as if they just go thru a fixed routine for everyone despite what you say when they ask what the problem is. This routine primarily consists of having your spine, wrist and other weird places poked hard enough to hurt but without the technique to have it give any kind of therapeutic release. They also drive their elbows into senseless places like your kidney/side for minutes. There is another review giving a similar experience. My fiance' did this with me and felt the same way with her masseuse. I feel like the positive reviews are fake. Beware! read more

I have had excellent massages done by an RMT. My sore back and shoulders are thankful. Seriously: no complaints at that end. On the other hand I would give the venue a 5 star if the environment was quiet. I wish clients and therapists could keep their tone down. Price: it is not cheap. $95 x 45 min. We got the 45 minute couples massage. Both of our massages were painful. My girlfriend's masseur was horrible. He was on his phone and was sick and coughing, and he didn't seem to cover his mouth or wash his hands. He ignored most of her requests and injured her finger, and when she told him about it he ignored her some more and went to look at his computer instead. Her finger was red and swollen for a day afterwards. He finished the massage several minutes before mine so it wasn't even a full 45 minutes. My massage was a bit better than hers but still painful and not particularly pleasant. None of the people we talked with could understand English well. When my girlfriend's masseur ignored her injured finger, my masseur tried to help but he could barely speak English. The health information forms you fill out at the start are quite long and it would've helped to have us fill that out prior to arriving. I don't think they even used it so it was just a waste of time. Very small room with 4 tables and only curtains separating them so we could hear other customers moaning during their massages. We had to get changed in bathroom stalls down the hall, with provided clothes that didn't fit, wearing slippers that were too small, even after we told them that we brought our own clothes. We spent ten minutes trying to find the place once we got off the subway. Don't expect to find any signs outside, because it's on the top floor of the Hullmark Corporate Centre. It's even more confusing because there's two Hullmark buildings right beside each other. read more

At first she was a bit to strong for my liking, though she asked questions and immediately adjusted her pressure to better suit my tolerance level. I've visited this place about 4 times in total since my first review and I've noticed some considerable changes here. First visit was really great, as per my initial review. On my second visit, I had scheduled a particular therapist and they booked me in with another therapist. On my third visit, there was a lot of loud talking the whole time. Usually I see one of the tuina therapists but on my fourth visit, I tried out the RMT and definitely not a good fit for me. To make matters worse, there was a toddler who belonged to one of the employees. who was permitted to run free throughout the studio, yelling and approaching the different therapists. My person seemed distracted and often stopped the massage to chat or play with the toddler. Terrible visit overall, and they don't seem to take feedback very seriously. I've been to many of these tuina massage places (Canada and the USA) and although you can be subjected to an occasional neighbouring groan, snoring, or whisper, there is generally a quiet vibe.
