After an assistant gathered his information in the exam room, she said she would take him into the back for the veterinarian to examine him. Because he was scared, I asked to accompany him. At that point, the plan changed, and the veterinarian came into our room instead. The veterinarian then said they intended to muzzle him. My Lab/Golden Retriever mix is very gentle, so I questioned the need. The exam proceeded without a muzzle, but the veterinarian said she could not find the growth--the very reason for our appointment. When I got home, I immediately found the growth myself, photographed it, and emailed the hospital with my concerns and a request to refund the exam fee. They replied that they were escalating the matter to their chief of staff. A week later, I still have not received any follow-up. I understand that veterinary staff may use muzzles for safety, but I expect clear communication about how my dog will be handled. This experience left me concerned about what would have happened out of my sight and undermined my trust in their care. Between the unsuccessful examination and the lack of follow-through on my complaint, I did not receive the attentive, compassionate service I expected. I will be looking elsewhere for veterinary care.

After my regular vet gave my pup that diagnosis I reached out to Dr Walker who said "I can help". She didn't make me any promises. She did hands on work, craniosacral and acupuncture and suggested some herbs. She worked with him every 2-3 days then we were able to space it out more. Over time, he got better. She gave us another year with our angel. She is my regular vet. She is now treating my 2 year old who is extremely sensitive and has anxiety. She used to runaway when Dr Walker would come over. Dr. Walker's in-home care was ideal for my cat, as veterinary office visits were very stressful for her, especially as she grew older. Dr. Walker utilizes multiple integrative medicine modalities and always allowed my cat to to tell her what she was interested (or not interested!) in receiving that day. She is incredibly knowledgeable in multiple hands-on treatments, current research, supportive devices, supplements, and herbs. My cat grew to love Dr. Walker tremendously. When she was recently experiencing acute medical issues and received new complex diagnoses that would have interfered with the care of her other chronic conditions, Dr. Walker was very communicative with me and helped support the decision-making process to transition my sweet 16.5 year old girl. When the day came (only a little over a week ago now), my husband and I could not have been more grateful to have Dr. Walker helping her transition in the comfort of our home. The waiting area is light-filled, beautiful and cozy with well-tended greenery. They take Care Credit. The treatment rooms are simple and easy to maneuver. The first time we were we left the lights of our car on and our battery died. They even helped us jump our car! I wouldn't hesitate to return if our pup needed care. The pricing was very reasonable, and now I have beautiful mementos to remember Pepper by.
