Not to sound too nostalgic and old, but we appreciated that he went the extra mile to draw on a map of where we should go as he explained everything. Not many people these days will do that for you. We got some live bloodworms and frozen mullet and some hooks that he suggested we might find useful. He suggested that we go to Sunset Beach. We did end up catching a few weakfish and a spotfish (we are guessing that these are the types). We were so touched by the attentive and intentional help and we will definitely be back if we are in the area. Last minute decision to come to Cape May…read more Jumped online and found a reasonable charter at the last moment. Worked out perfectly on a Thursday afternoon. Just the two of us picked the option for fishing. 1pm time. Read the tips to show up an hour early. The boat before us wasn't back yet, and the parking was none. There are maybe 3 businesses sharing one parking area and more businesses fighting for street parking. This was just a little frustrating. Once the boat tour before us came back and left, they get you double parked in their tiny lot. If you don't like that, come early to find street parking. Other than that. This is a bigger charter. You pay a rental for the rod when you purchase your ticket, which includes your fishing license. There are about 25 spots for rods built into the side of the boat, but we were fortunately there was not that many people. Even with only about 15 people on our side, with the drifting the boat does you are guaranteed to get tangled at least once. Thank goodness for Joe and the help on the boat. There in a flash to fix your rod, untangle, or unhook your fish. I can unhook my own bass, but I don't know salt water fish and didn't want to stick my finger in anything I didn't know. You get two cups of bait. They show you how to bait your hook, and once the hour long trip out is over, you do your line and go. The captain was great with getting us on the fish. I caught a couple of flounders, a bunch of bass and a sea Robin! I lost count of how many I caught. We caught lots and got a coupl of keepers. We didn't get the heaviest, but it was close. Bathrooms for all on the boat. Snacks for purchase. Sun shirts for purchase if needed. Be like the cool kids and take a slim rag for after you bait your hook. It's worth the money. If you wanted less people you will be paying more on a different charter. Again a shout out to a great ships crew and their great job. They cleaned our catch and were fun. Thanks for a great time.

The two men held up three "FucL You" fingers. The child was acting professionally and was not shooting the finger. I have and kept snapshots of this tackiness. The have no interest in decorum. Classy outfit? Not at all. My reward for voicing my opinion/critique was to be shown the door. The FB page owner "LIKED" that I said I elected to depart. I visit this area a couple times a year, if possible, so seeking out guides is my past time. I'll spend my dough with their competitors, since their attitude and indifference brought about this negative factual review. While in the Cape May, you may keep this in mind. I'll choose classy folks that value polite acceptable content, since decorum speaks to ones dignity. This business appears to have a childish bent. Moments before I departed, a Mr. Gary Bradford told me that I should get over it. I told him that I surely was and leave the page. The FB page owner celebrated my departure. The girls at the front gave a dirty look up and down and didn't say hello never asked what we could need help with. We ended up finding a $60 dollar pair of sunglasses and left. After returning home (we are 0.3 miles away) we found out the glasses screw was coming out so after about 30 mins we went back to exchange them and were told they could not. It's disappointing how bad the customer service is here. If you don't look like them / worth their time they will not cater to you apparently. Will not be coming back
