BETH has been benefiting off of us for the past 12 years. We make A homeowners insurance claim due to a leak in our kitchen. Which took STATE FARM about seven months to pay out for. After dozens and dozens of phone calls to BETH CHAFFEE and STATE FARM to get it finished to get paid for it to get reimbursed. It was a nightmare. People can't control what happens to their home when accidents happen. And when you use insurance for what it's actually for they drop you. We found better insurance through USAA anyway. And when I called back to tell her that we're canceling our auto policy, she apologizes telling me that they had to drop us for homeowners insurance. No, you did not. You did not have to drop us. I told her that she's not sorry and she doesn't care, and then she hangs up on me. Not even confirming with me with a cancellation number or anything. That's just goes to show how little BETH CHAFFEE and STATE FARM cares about people. They just care about money. STATE FARM and BETH do not care about you. All these positive reviews on here are probably fake. The whole Insurance industry is a scam. They don't wanna help you, especially STATE FARM and BETH CHAFFEE. Don't make a claim because she won't answer your calls or call you back. We left dozens of messages for her or anyone in her office and she would never call us back when we had our homeowners insurance claim. Living without a kitchen no sink no stove. They did not care we lived that way for over six months. STATE FARM is awful and so is BETH CHAFFEE.

I filed a claim and my car was not looked at for almost an entire week. (Concierge Claims Service?) Then, the shop that was repairing my vehicle had to call for a "supplemental" issue. You guessed it... 4 more days before I even got a call. Incidentally, the DID cover my issue and they did pay promptly. If I'm paying a premium fee, I expect to be treated much much better. The USAA insurance rate was SIGNIFICANTLY less.

    After paying my insurance premiums for many years to Progressive, I found out my coverage is…read moreworthless. On 2/12/26, Claim# 26-519416008, while driving on I-10 taking my wife to the airport, my vehicle, a Ford Explorer, was hit by a GMC truck insured by Progressive. The driver of the truck ran away. According to the investigating officer, the GMC truck was at fault in this accident. I'm a good driver, no tickets and never had an accident where I was at fault. For almost a month I have had a nightmare dealing with Progressive to pay for my vehicle repair. On 3/10/26, almost one month after the accident, I received a letter from Hunter Wells in the claim department stating that Progressive can't find a valid coverage for the incident and they will not be able to pay for my claim. I'm a retired auto body I-CAR, ASE, certified technician. I had already started to repair my car. This vehicle has steps, a handle, and a place for a wheelchair. My wife must have this vehicle to take her disabled mother to her doctor appointments. This vehicle is very safe to repair. I replaced the front fender and door with used parts and they fit perfectly. (see pictures) On 3/14/26, Hunter sent another letter stating the total settlement amount for my vehicle is $7,299.89. There is a catch: Progressive will salvage and keep my vehicle and sell it at the auction for a high premium. My vehicle, a Ford Explorer, was purchased new by my father-in-law. Three years ago he passed away. He made sure this car was in perfect condition the whole time he owned it. I have all the records to prove it. I have put about $5k in upgrades including a platinum extended warranty for an additional 85,000 miles left. This vehicle has a full warranty, just like owning a new vehicle. Progressive, they know I must have this vehicle, and the only way they will pay me is if they salvage the vehicle and I surrender it to them. I researched Craigslist, Marketplace, and can't find a single similar vehicle Ford Explorer IronMan rare edition for sale by owner. Most of the other available vehicles come with a salvage title, are not safe to drive, and cannot be fully insured. It's been 3+ months and the final decision I will not receive a single penny for the damages caused by a drunk driver insured by Progressive.
