The other day, I stopped by to get gas and they were advertising the lowest price around. However, when I went to select my gas, the prices were much higher. Then I saw the little sign that said that the advertised price was only available to anyone deciding to purchase a car wash. It might not meet the strict legal definition of "bait and switch" but that is certainly how I felt. I this this is a pretty crappy way to treat customers, potential customers or, in my case, now former customers. Go ¼ mile down the road ... there's another gas station, not quite as nice, but certainly cheaper.
