I can't speak for the competitiveness of the gas prices but, on the surface, this seems to be a well-run establishment. The inside tells a similar story, until you reach the bathrooms. They were sub-par. Not, perhaps, by the standards of gas stations, but by the standards of disease-free human beings they were pretty gross. I don't know what it is about gas stations that expects you to shift your paradigm of cleanliness but I refuse to submit. Gross is gross, and that's the end of it.

He said I went the "wrong way" but there's no clear indication or barrier before I reached this side of the station. The plus side is that the Premium gas was significantly cheaper but the card machine wasn't able to read my Costco membership card. I had to scan the QR code from the Costco app. When I was about to leave, the other worker told me to turn my car around instead of going straight in order to exit the area. It's about six minutes away from I-40 exit 287 (Harrison Avenue - Cary). This Shell station has eight pumps. At first, I tried to use pump 6, but it wouldn't take my card. I then realized there was a handwritten note on pump 6 that said to pay inside. I walked to pump 8 and noticed pump 8 did not have a sign that said the same, so I used pump 8 instead. I paid at the pump as I normally do with my card. I had no issues except the fuel gloves and paper towels were all out on the side of the station I was on. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I use a paper towel to touch gas pump buttons and handles. It was nice they actually had a box of fuel gloves. Costco is the only other place I've seen them. Too bad they were out of both gloves and paper towels. I filled up for $3.419 per gallon of premium, which was expensive. Using the app GetUpside, I was able to get $0.19 per gallon back. If you've never used the app GetUpside before, try it and use my invite code DANIEL66482 for an additional $0.15 per gallon back on your first use. No gimmicks.
