We stayed here for the weekend while in town for a wedding. We were able to pick our room in the app and check in via the app. There was not problem getting into the hotel or our room upon arrival. We stayed in room 420. The room was nice and features your typical Hampton Inn ammenities. Once we arrived in the room we noticed the mirror at the desk had a small crack in it, so we went to the front desk to immediately report it. We didn't want a mirror to end up on our folio. We also grabbed a key for my wife, since she rather not use the app. The front desk was very efficient in getting us another key and making sure the mirror was logged. They also gave me a bottle of water, a very nice little touch, especially since they put your name on it. After taking my Yelp pictures for the room, we settled and for the night. The AC worked well, it kept the room at a comfortable temperature without being too noisy. This room has head head of the bed against the bathroom wall, which makes your feet point towards the window. I think this is great as both people get the effects of the AC and one person is not freezing since they are next to it and it helps you hear less noise from your neighbors. My only complaint is then the TV, it make it a little awkward to watch TV if you are the one is who is further away from it. No big deal, we only flipped it on for a few minutes. It is also worth noting that this property does not have your typical Hilton TV system, it is just Direct TV. I noticed the lounger in the room was pretty ditry, and neither of us chose to ever sit on it. Not sure why hotels still us fabric loungers and desk chairs, they get so dirty. The bathroom was clean with the exception of a couple of small mold spots in the shower and a rusty toilet paper holder that refused to hold a roll of toliet paper. It is probably about time to replace that. Also, I was waiting for the counter in the bathroom to fall of the wall. I could the angle it was at and the cracked caulk along the back edge. Looks like someone may have sat up there and it was not ready for that events that took place on it. Luckily that didn't happen while we were there and it did not impact our stay. What was frustrating though was hoping in the shower the next morning. After washing my hair, and putting in some conditioner in, I went to pump some body wash/gel. To my surprise that bottle was bone dry, it could not have been more empty. Well, that day I bathed with shampoo. Not the end of the world, just really annoying. When I got down to the lobby for breakfast I did stop by the front desk to ask for soap and they were able to have a member of housekeeping grab a bottle for me. We headed down for breakfast. It was your standard Hampton Inn breakfast. There was coffee, eggs, a meat choice, waffles, juice, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. I am sure I am forgetting something, but you get the picture. Breakfast was good and filling. Another item to note is that during our stay only one of the two elevators seemed to be in use. So anytime you needed yo use the elevator, you had to wait. Also, the vending and ice machine for level 4 only consisted of a ice machine that was not on. All in all we didn't have a bad stay, I just feel like some of the smaller details need to be looked at and addressed. read more

THE BRAND MAY AS MUCH AT FAULT AS THE HOTEL After the response below, it may be the brand and not just the hotel. I recently spent two nights at the Hampton inn/Waynesboro, GA. I was in the area for a funeral and the Wrens, GA hotel reportedly had bedbugs and the Thomson, GA Hampton Inn did not have any water. I asked for a bereavement rate and was denied. I asked for my usual 10% discount for AARP or AAA which was also denied. Then it came to the stay: * I received no maid service. (Do Not Disturb was hung until 11:45A, off from 9-10:30A) * There was no laundry or clothes bag in the closet. * There were bagels for breakfast, but no cutter. How is that supposed to work? * There was rubber meat for breakfast one morning. * I am diabetic and though there were waffles, there was no sugar-free syrup. * Although I asked for it twice, I received no bereavement rate. The clerk the first night did not even know what that meant. * Bare bones, cheap as possible breakfast. * The door handle on the side door was almost impossible to open. Rather than fixing it, a sign explaining how to lift up on it while jerking to gain access. Ridiculous. I let Hilton Honors know about it and this is the response from the alleged customer service rep, who offered very little apology and no resolution. My bed was urine soaked and I sat in it unknowingly. ~11:30pm. I would give ZERO stars if possible. Craig gave me a new room, gave me laundry detergent, and gave me $3 in change for the wash/dry cycle. He almost laughingly apologized & proceeded to tell me in an unconcerned tone that he hoped my next room did not have any urine. While he changed my room and tried to remember which floor the laundry is on, he complained to me about having someone approach the door as he dealt with this inconvenience. He then frustratingly asked if I would allow him to check in the new arrival; I reluctantly agreed. While preparing the man's room key he made a comment that infuriated me further. He told the man that he hasn't been on duty long and had already "walked into a storm". The audacity! His guest sat in a urine-soaked bed at 11:30 pm. This is HIGHLY UNSANITARY, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Not to mention HORRENDOUSLY NEGLIGENT!! To recap: Craig didn't offer a refund, complained the entire time about having to do his job, made me wait to check someone in, while complaining to them that he had "walked into a storm." Horrible. Horrendous. The GM, Mathew Gaines, is a great reflection of how bad this hotel is run and lack of management and trained employees. They cost me a ton of money and I believe it is because I am of a certain color, not black, so I was treated wrongly and the franchise owner supports wrong doing. Great experience here, yes it it pricey compared to the other hotels around, but you do get what you pay for. The room was nice and clean, smelled clean most importantly! The water was yellow, idk why... but the breakfast was better serve than most hotels we go too. Overall everything was good! read more

Wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in a quiet area of town. Hotel was clean, updated, and so comfortable. Rooms are minimal but so convenient and well equipped, it was not a problem. All staff members were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast area was also very welcoming and clean. Attention to detail was obvious. Apples were all wrapped. Thank you! There is not much to do in the area, but that was not an issue for us as it was a stopover to Savannah. There is a good restaurant in the area that sells seafood. Appears to be a local favorite. (Always a win!) It's called Brown's Quality Seafood on W6th Street. Overall a great stay...Only thing that I found that could have been better is the coffee temp. I got the robust and it was not hot enough 'for me'. Not really worth mentioning because we only stayed 1 night so it may have just been that day. This hotel sucks! No management skills whatsoever! Left several messages for manager and never responded. Left me no choice but to contact corporate. All of corporate America things get lost in the shuffle. Do not recommend this Hampton Inn compared to others. Stayed here for the Master's. Only half hour from August's National. Great Hampton Inn. Very clean. The staff was so nice and friendly. Management really runs this place well. Beds were not the best but comfortable. Only complaint is that one of two elevators were working. Great stay! read more

Not worth the price! For the overpriced rooms, the hotel is not able to provide basic amenities efficiently. The TV guide does not work nor does the back button or info button on the TV remote. When I asked, I was told that is how the TVs are configured in all rooms! There were no basic English breakfast tea bags available either to make tea, etc. Overall, the hotel is just way too overpriced and I would not not stay here again! read more

New hotel. Right on the highway. Feels like the trucks will drive through your room. Thin walls. You can hear your neighbors easily. Noisy plant workers get up at 4 AM and could care less about making noise. You will not get much sleep at this place. Cheesy eggs for brekky? How about some regular plain scrambled eggs? I book this hotel for my daughter sleep over book two rooms and upon leaving I come back and all my items was remove from my room. I thought if u get a room why would they allow housekeeping to enter. Long story no communication skills with workers, they are liars has me wondering does surveillance work, make you feel like you scan your own card for a room, etc. Some what the problem gets solve..........it's gets worst as we get here. They have very thin poorly build walls meaning you can hear a bird fly by or if someone walks above you ...you can hear them walking. Had the same senior women reporting kids was to loud several time untill I camp out by door with a chair n only heard them talking. (Yes I ask for adjoining room or a room0 nxt to me and wasn't accommodate) This is the worst hotel room I've ever been to for this event which I've been to better hotel with great insulation and not hear all the complaints....also kids said the roaches come out at night waste of money for a poorly newly build hotel. My money is to good for this craziness will not be returning.. I can go on and on from my experience .. to go on I got charge $250 for cleaning this place will cheat you out of money will not be coming back to this money hungry cheaply build hotel. read more

This hotel was beautiful, and the service was phenomenal!!! From the moment I stepped foot through the door, it was made sure that I was welcomed and appreciated. The young man at the front desk was so polite and literate! He made sure that any problems I had were resolved instantly and with urgency.
