Good, Clean Hotel!! I stayed in this Hampton for one night while in the Washington, PA Area. This Hotel is located right off the county highway. The location is great as it is very close to town, restaurants and shops. My room was a King room, and had everything I needed for a good visit. The room itself was clean; however, the Desk Chair had some stains and leftover food crumbs from a previous guest. The bathroom was immaculate. Wifi was easy to connect to. The downstairs lobby had a small guest lounge and dining area serving free breakfast with a variety of hot and cold choices. The gym was on the smaller side but had enough equipment for a workout, including a Peloton. I used my digital Key to check in and was able to head straight to my room upon arrival. My room was ready very early in the afternoon, which was very convenient for me after a long drive. Overall, good stay in a well-managed Hilton property. read more

I stay at this Hampton Inn once or twice a year; it's just about exactly halfway between my home and the town where my family lives these days. Always a pleasant stay here and I never have any issues. It was quite embarrassing, but last year I managed to lock myself out of my room because I was messing around, unnecessarily, with that hook thing at the top of the door that lets the door stay cracked if there are two people in the room and one leaves. Anyway, there was only me and I locked myself out, and the Hampton Inn staff was really nice about letting me back in (with an unfolded hanger-type device one of their people had to carefully slip through the crack between the door and the wall, in order to un-flip the switch I'd flipped; god, this was so stupid, and I felt ridiculous the whole time this was being worked on). They were friendly about it and acted as though I wasn't a huge fool for locking myself out in such a weird manner. The breakfast buffet is pretty comprehensive for a relatively small hotel. They offer a solid selection of cold cereals, plus waffles, eggs, bagels, etc. There's also a pool and a fitness room. I never see these getting much use, so they're in great condition and there's a decent chance you'll have the rooms to yourself if you decide to use them. When I drive out to visit family in Ohio, there's never a question about where I'll stop half-way; Hampton Inn, Washington PA, is always the way to go. read more

Stayed here while touring colleges in the area. The staff were all so nice and friendly! Our room was clean and comfortable, we had a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave, shower had great water pressure. Loved the breakfast buffet that was included. Bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffle station, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal fruit, juices, milk. Hot coffee and hot chocolate available 24/7 in the lobby. Very nice dining area to sit and enjoy breakfast as well. We felt very taken care of here. read more

Very friendly staff. Super clean rooms. As soon as we stepped off elevators onto fourth floor it smelled clean! Got in our room and it was spotless. Breakfast was what you expect - eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal etc. Area there was very clean also. Highly recommended. read more

This Hampton Inn hotel was built in 1995 but looks recently remodeled. The hotel offers amenities such as an indoor swimming pool, business center and meeting rooms, fitness center, free wi-fi, free buffet breakfast, free parking lot, etcetera. This hotel allows up to two cats/dogs for a fee. In January 2024, my husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights for a total price of $243. The employees at the front desk provided very prompt and friendly service. Our room was in excellent condition, and it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room had amenities such as a king-sized bed, large television with premium cable, mini refrigerator, microwave, desk and chair, etcetera. My husband commented that he really liked how the room had many outlets for us to recharge our electronics. Overall, we experienced no problems with the building or employees, and the price was reasonable for the quality. read more

I had an overall good experience at this Hampton Inn over the weekend. I was in town for a music festival, and Washington, PA, isn't exactly rolling in hotel options, so this was one of the best choices available for my stay at a reasonable rate. I was able to check in early, which was great and super appreciated. We had a quiet room on the fourth floor. The King Study room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom and a decent bed and sofa bed. It's a Hampton, so there was no housekeeping during the stay. One complaint is that the doors were terribly hard to shut, and that includes the bathroom door and front door. I thought for certain that I had closed the front door upon exiting on Saturday, but when I arrived back several hours later, the door was actually unlocked. Fortunately, I didn't bring valuables with me, but that was scary for a hot second nonetheless. The included breakfast was great, with a large spread of scrambled eggs, pork (no bacon), potatoes, make-your-own waffles, fruits, muffins, bagels, etc. They also had coffee and tea in the lobby. Just one other piece of feedback. At the end of my stay, when I went to check out, I noticed my card was charged a higher amount than my confirmation said. I worked at hotels in college, so I assumed that was for incidentals. So when I checked out, I asked if she could confirm the total for my stay, and she replied with the full charge amount. I then replied that it was supposed to be a different amount, and THEN she told me they charge $50 for incidentals. In the future, please say, "The total was X, but you'll see a charge for X, which will drop off." Clarification matters. read more

Under construction, and the room refurbs are good. Bath supplies empty, but otherwise good. Warning: this is a pet friendly hotel, so if you don't like early morning persistent barking to wake you up, you might avoid this hotel. Apparently some patrons are leaving their dogs unattended in their rooms for long periods, which causes ALL the dogs to bark so loud you can't have a phone conversation. read more

We were tired of driving so stopped here without a reservation. A friendly welcome and quick checkin got us to a comfortable room. We also got some good directions to nearby restaurants. The Sunday evening front desk clerk was particularly helpful. The room was clean and all worked well. read more

Really nice for the price and category hotel! Ample parking, pleasant and accommodating at check-in, great rooms, nice pool, and perfect quick breakfast. Better customer service here than many super fancy hotels I have visited. We especially loved the waffle maker (of course) that featured pumpkin spice! (Pro tip: add that caramel syrup and whipped cream!) read more

Great location to stay when gambling at the casino. Comfortable and easy access with keyless entry . Clean and organized , however checking out lady at front desk said a don't look I stayed in with them and I replayed she didn't look like she worked there either bcuz she didnt have the proper uniform and also asked what's the proper attire to like like I stayed in this hotel . This hotel is always so clean and the staff is always so nice. When I got my bill after leaving my price was different and I didn't understand. I called today 3/13/25 and talked to Justin and he explained to me what he saw on my bill and I didn't realize adding a person the system could charge for an extra person to the reservation. When I called Justin explained everything to me and I am satisfied with how he explained everything. I also spoke to justin when I arrived and checked in. He also asked me if I wanted housekeeping services while I was staying at the hotel. Justin along with everyone there was always so polite, kind and very welcoming. Great job read more

For the past 15 years, Hilton properties have been my go-to hotels when traveling to a new/unknown territory. So for my trip to Washington, PA I chose the Hampton Inn on Murtland Ave. At check-in, the front desk greeting was warm and friendly. The room was very nice, and the COOKIES were fresh, warm and delicious! There is no restaurant at this hotel, but there was very good in-room information about restaurants that deliver to the hotel. So I choose Pizza Hut and called in my order. It was delivered in under 40 minutes ad the food was VERY GOOD! read more

We stayed here and the location is very convenient to shopping and food places. I would definitely stay here again for the convenience of location. The staff was nice, and the breakfast wasn't bad for being complimentary. We had a king size room- it was clean upon arrival. No frills. View was of highway but again, we just needed a place to stay for a wedding and it wasn't a destination vacation. Very pleased. Next time in town, definitely would stay here again. read more

BLUF: A good experience with a few small issues Check in went smoothly, but we got to our room to find that our keys didn't work, necessitating a trip back down to the front desk. The extra pillows I asked for were brought to our room promptly. Bathroom is a little cramped, and unlike most Hamptons we've stayed at there was no fridge in the room. But the room was pretty spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was included and was okay, the main drawbacks being relatively flavorless scrambled eggs and sausage gravy. The gravy was also barely warm (a batch that came out later was hot). I'm a breakfast guy, so for me this was a kind of a downer on which to end our visit. read more

We have stayed at this location more than ten times over the last 6 years, and have always had a great experience. This is the first time we've been back since COVID began, and boy have things changed. I'm posting pictures for reference, but we won't be back. This location is dirty and in dire need of repairs. I do not recommend. read more

Due to family circumstances we stayed at this hotel on 2 different occasions in two weeks. The hotel was very clean, the staff very helpful, the rooms very clean. The breakfast wasn't that great but understand the changes needed for the COVID regulations. read more

I've never been disappointed by Hampton Inn....until now. The first room we stayed in smelled musty. We moved to another and it was better but still smells. I don't know what happened to the pillows but they were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bed was hard as a rock and my back is killing me. The floors are cement with carpet tiles covering them so not so good on the feet. No refrigerators in any room. I will rethink my hotel choice in the future. Hampton Inn was my go to, but no longer. read more

Great hotel, delicious hot breakfast, very clean room, friendly staff, highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience here. It was a last minute decision to split up our 12 hour travel time into two days after a couple of sleepless nights at a noisy Hyatt Place in Indianapolis. We really enjoyed the set up of the room, particularly the microwave and refrigerator in our room. Great sleeping and quiet surroundings. Breakfast buffet was good and the to-go bag of Happy Fuel came in handy on our trip. Would highly recommend this hotel. It is very reasonable for all that it offers. Front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. read more

My husband and I stayed here for one night while passing through the area on a road trip. We chose the Hampton Inn because the chain is pretty consistently nice and is smoke-free. As an asthmatic, I can't be around the smell of cigarette smoke- so I only stay in smoke-free hotels. They also have free wif-fi and free breakfast. The room was to be expected, things were clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel is located about a half a mile off of I-70, so it's a quick stop for those passing through. There are a couple chain restaurants right around the hotel you can walk or drive to. We would definitely stay here again on our way to Philly. read more

Subpar Hampton Inn. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost their flag. The exterior looks nice like a newer facility. Looks like they still need to renovate the interior. My room had a strong vinegar smell. The room was dingy and dark. No microwave no mini fridge. The bed was super poor quality. You can only turn right out of the parking lot drive up a hill and make a U turn if you want to go toward the interstate. Proximity to interstate, restaurants was petty good. I won't be staying there again. read more

As expected - great hotel at great price level. Stayed two nights and room was very clean and we couldn't hear the adjoining rooms, which are my two most important qualities. We stayed at this hotel for 4 weeks because of our home being fixed from a car running into it. We can only post and say good things about this place clean great breakfast and the attendant was always on the ball keeping tables clean food things always full And also very friendly. One day I could tell she wasn't feeling well but she did and over And above as always to keep everything going. Towels were thick and long. Great job cleaning rooms at our requests and chsnging sheets. Staff friendly and courteous. One gentleman greated us almost every morning . Felt safe doors were locked around 9 pm and you used your card to get in. One of the ladies that check us in was professional and friendly. Her name was Madonna. Only recommendation is with you remodeling that you have thicker towels at the pool that I enjoyed a few times. Thank you all Excellent service by all and when we checked out we needed help and alady and Gentleman were outstanding ding in helping us accomplish it with esse.. We went to this hotel spent a ton of money and the manager Bobby was extremely rude. You don't talk to people the way you talked to us. This was our second year staying here and we had will never stay again. Bobby you shouldn't be a manager you shouldn't even be working at a Hampton. You are not a typical Hampton inn manager let alone employee. We love Hampton hotels but this guy has let his title go to his head. Ridiculous. Very disappointing. Shame on you. read more

As a frequent business traveler, I appreciate Hampton's consistent quality and service. What distinguished this property from others is its people. Highly recommend to stay this hotel. Room is clean and good breakfast to start your day

Looks good so far. Room is nice. TV is nice. Bathroom is nice. Carpet at far end of room suffers from that hotel effect where as you get far far into the room the carpet becomes less vacuumed, but I am sensitive to this sort of thing, and this is no different than many many rooms I have been in. read more

Made reservation through national call center and asked for a room for 2 adults and three kids (they asked for their ages which we gave -- all not toddlers). Specifically asked for a room that can take a roll-away or with a pull out couch, which we do every time we stay at a hotel. Get to hotel and they give us a room with two double beds and no room for a roll-away. We explain the problem and the assistant manager says that double beds can sleep up to three if some of them are kids. My guess is he does not have kids or has never actually seen a double bed or does not know what the word double means. Only solution offered is pay for second room. The mistake may have been with the reservation center but his response was ridiculous. Now feel like we can not trust Hilton hotels if they think that a double sleeps 3. read more

Got a rate here on priceline, but no one there mentioned that it was under major construction in Oct. 10. I was on the first floor--and I think that I was in the only room that was not gutted. Fun, to have guys start work installing drywall in the room next to yours at 7 am. read more

We stopped here after a long day and night of driving. We were traveling with a five month old baby and they provided a nice and clean pack n play with fresh sheets. While unpacking the car we accidentally left our stroller outside and had no idea until a nice woman came up at breakfast and asked if we were missing anything for our baby. Her name was Vicky and she completely saved us!! She told us when she came into work this morning she thought it was likely a mistake someone had left a brand new stroller outside (we literally bought it this week!) so she brought it inside. I hope her managers see this review! Thanks Vicky!! read more
