Best option if coming to Macomb. Was here for a work trip. Employees are all friendly, especially Bryan at the front desk. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Pool is really nice and breakfast was hot and delicious! I would have marked all 5 stars except the area by the microwave in the room needed to be sprayed with something because it smelled like someone had spilled some food or something. Overall this was an excellent hotel and the only option if you're in Macomb for any length of stay.

Stayed here on business travel. Staff were very helpful, nice and attentive. Room was clean and a/c works great (93 degrees outside). When going up to my room housekeeping was cleaning another room by mine and I noticed he was cleaning the door and frame which shows they pay attention to detail. Nice workout and pool area although the spa was broken at the time of my stay . I got a text message shortly after check in to make sure everything with the room was good and that speaks very highly to the customer service they provide here. 5 stars

Vintage 1970 chair for the desk!

This might be the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at! If you have to stay in Macomb they got ya because the other hotels are flat out motels! If you don't have to stay here move on! Beds are horrible chairs are like sitting on the floor even when I complained the best they could do was slight improvement! I can't believe Hilton allows their name on property like this!

What an interesting decorative pattern...whipped cream for each chunk.

Yet another honorable hampton inn breakfast to go down in history. Talk about decorative! With so many topping options, one could create quite the masterpiece of a breakfast-truly a work of art!

Nice place to stay for a quick in and out stay. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. They are following covid precautions with signs posted, remote in plastic covering, and ppe available throughout the building. Continental breakfast is served in a cute little box with a nice portion of items. I even received a text from John shortly after check-in to see if we needed anything and if everything was up to standard in our room. I would stay here again. Only con is that you could here the room above us walking so hard and loud at times so the walls are thin.

We were in town just for one night and chose Best Western because it is usually our first choice -…read morethey are dependably decent and many have been remodeled recently. This one was clean, updated, and the staff was super friendly and nice. It's always refreshing to deal with people who act like they enjoy their job/want to help. I do have a few complaints, but nothing to totally knock them down for. The pool was over-chlorinated, to the point that our skin was burning. The beds are the most uncomfortable things I have ever slept in (again, it was just for one night - if we had needed to stay longer we would have cancelled the reservation- it was THAT bad). I think we would have been better off on the floor. I woke up stiff and sore and a little pissed. I mean, you stay at a hotel for a place to SLEEP...common sense would dictate providing a decently comfortable bed for your guests. Our beds were awful. Again, had we needed to stay longer we would have canceled. Last but not least, there were ants in the bathroom. I saw maybe 4 at any given time. They weren't after anything in particular, just wandering around. We did not alert the staff because it was late and we were leaving early. The breakfast was awesome, the price decent (as usual), but I'm sure we won't be back unless they put better beds in there. Trust me, I'm not exaggerating, they were bad. 4 stars so as not to diss Best Western in general. We still love y'all! Your Macomb location has terrible beds though.

Never received enough clean towels-several requests made. Room was not the cleanest, stained furniture and carpet. The dated TV would randomly turn on in the middle of the night.

Macomb does not have good lodging options. That being said, I will stay here again when needed…read more Rooms are very dated. Think of an old motel. The room was clean, amenities obviously aren't the best, bed and pillows were surprisingly great. No issues with room temperature control. Finding your way around the building can be a little tricky. Side note for 10 pm or later... after hours building entry requires three flights of stairs due to security measures in place (no access to elevator from after hours entry door).

I arrived after 8:00 PM and had to check in at the Office of Public Safety. I was given my room key…read morethere and then had to go across to the Union, which was closed for the night. Entering through the back way isn't the easiest -- you don't have access to the elevator and must climb three floors of steep cement stairs with your bags. The room itself was A-OK. Comfy bed, micro-fridge combo, clean bathroom with a hair dryer and a TV with lots of channels. But then I turned on the heat and it smelled so bad it literally gave me a headache. Now it could be that I was the first to use the heat this year (I was there last weekend in September), but it was still very unpleasant. So while it was cheap and safe and comfortable for one night, I don't think I'll stay here again. I'm a slave to Amtrak when I visit my Leatherneck (which means I must arrive after 8:00 PM), and the after-hours check-in in is just too much of a drag to justify the savings.
