Welcome!

Awesome service. So we went here for a wedding. It was a 6 hour drive. My wife tore her dress getting ready! I called the front desk to ask if they had safety pins. Joseph answered and said absolutely. Come on down! They had mini sewing kits and he gave me two! The nightmare was over. The rates weren't half bad and everything was very clean. Continental breakfast was pretty good. Though I think the juices were a little watered down. The digital key didn't work and I ended up having to go to the front desk anyway. Minor inconvenience. I'd stay here again if we were in the area.

After driving 1130 miles, this hotel was perfect. It's beautiful and all of the employees were so nice and breakfast was delicious. Now, headed to Martha's Vineyard.

Came for a work trip. Hotel was brand new Super clean and nice. Hotel check in. The staff were nice and listened to my request ans fulfilled them My room... Was brand new. Very spacious and might of been missing some furniture. They had breakfast to go due to covid-19. Would def return for a work trip

Great location. Stayed here for the July 4th weekend and paid $400 for one night in the water view room. The extra money was not worth it for me but I'm glad I got to try it out. The room was very clean and included a huge flat screen tv. Some of the employees were kind but accused my friends and I of smoking pot in the room (which we were most definitely not). Because of COVID-19 we were not able to use the pool or enjoy the breakfast buffet but they did offer to deliver breakfast to the room the next morning after we filled out a sheet of what we wanted. 3 stars for my experience at this hotel. Hope to give it another chance but not anytime soon.

So, it was safe to say my expectations were not that high. Wow!!!!!! I was totally wrong about that. The owner Tabitha, greeted me upon arrival w/a beaming smile and a big & fun personality. When I got to my room, it was one of the coziest, cutest, and serene hotel rooms I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. After I brought my bags in my room and got situated, I walked around the grounds of the hotel and noticed they offered an outdoor almost (back yardish) spot for entertaining guests, complete with a small gazebo, fire pit, outdoor games, a table to dine or relax at w/chairs and small love seat, and a grill! Later on while trying to decide on a local restaurant to order dinner from, the grill that I had seen earlier popped into my head. I thought to myself, I'll go ask the owner if the grill is available for guests to cook dinner on? I figured the owner would probably laugh at me and tell me absolutely not. After I asked her this question, Tabitha (w/a big smile on her face) told me that she had purchased the grill for the guest to have a different option other than ordering out. So, I jumped in my car and drove down to Stop & Shop and bought a New York strip steak, fresh asparagus, fresh scallions, fresh mushrooms, and fresh ingredients to make a salad. I went to bed that night with not only a big smile on my face because of the hospitality, but also a pretty big sized full belly from the dinner I consumed! If you and your significant other ever decide to escape every day life and head down to the Cape for a great date night, I highly recommend reserving a room at "The Inn at Buzzards Bay"

The next morning they had me up at the crack of dawn and into the car before i could object. An hour and 10 minutes later we pulled up at the Bay Motor Inn. Cutest little cottages and a nice big pool. This was already looking good. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Irene, the proprietor, who made us right at home. The cottages were perfect, the kids had one and the boy an I had an adjacent cottage (complete with a cute little porch). The rooms were clean and well appointed, air conditioned and they even shuffled us around when we saw the porch unit. Fred and Irene could not have been better hosts. As we relaxed by the pool they made us feel like we were long lost friends. What a comfort in today's world of "institutional lodging". We had such a great time on day one that we stayed an extra day. Aside from the hotel's amenities and charming hosts the Motel was located in a perfect position for us. We could easily scoot to beautiful beaches, take a walk along the canal and even take the kids bowling, mini golfing and go kart riding (I lost all three but it was worth it for the family time!). Looking for a great, affordable getaway? Check it out... we loved it and we're already planning our next escape to "The Bay"! Shhh .... don't tell anyone ... I'd like to keep this one for me and the boy!

Excellent location for the Cape Cod Lovers, next to the west side of the Canal in Buzzards Bay and close to the Herring Run at the beautiful scenic highway 6. Also close to many good restaurants an beautiful beaches. We stayed there 6 nights and have not complains at all. Wish they had memory foam mattresses! bat for that price it is just fine regular spring mattresses, clean sheets and blankets..

We had two reservations, one reservation was booked directly with your site, and the other was with a third party. When the third party reservation checked in, there was no issue. It's when they went to go get dinner and come back the issue arose. Their keys were not working, and so they went to the front desk. He then told us that the credit card the third party provided wasn't working. We then called the third party who called the hotel. He was extremely rude to them on the phone and extremely rude to us at this point. He wouldn't let us go get our stuff out of the room at first, but finally gave in and allowed us to. At that point the third party website was trying to figure out the issue and called the hotel. He repetitively picked up the phone, hung it up on them and continued to do it. He was not helpful at all in finding a solution for us to get into a hotel room. He was extremely rude to us. Then in order to get a refund my boss needed his name so Hopper could register it and process a refund so we could go get another room. He refused to give us his name and he was not wearing name tag. He then said it was "Steve None of Ya Biz". I stay in hotels almost 1/3 of the month all around the country and have never in my life had such rudeness and unprofessionalism by a front desk employee. He then proceeded to tell us it we didn't leave the property he was going to call the police. I'm sure you have cameras so you can check to verify we were not doing anything. He should absolutely be fired. The way he treated us was disgusting.

The setting and décor itself is quite lovely. Jan goes out of her way to make people comfortable if they have any special requests. The rooms are clean with maid service on a daily basis, our room shared an outdoor porch on the second floor. Breakfast is served 8:30am-9:30am. Jan is a great cook and Charlie services the food. In the evening there was a variety of wines to choose from and freshly baked cookies as well as coffee and tea throughout the day. Next time we are in Cape Cod I would definitely come back to stay here.

The owners were really nice and very accommodating and went above and beyond what hospitality is all about. You can see the canal across the street and all the boats that go by absolutely a great place to stay.

I wish I could give 0 stars! This place is a disaster. The booking process proved quite difficult,…read morethe bed was essentially a cot (on wheels, squeaky old mattress with a bulge on the side), and shades that let light from the parking lot in all night. In addition to being able to hear the highway through the doors, we arrived to find a dirty towel draped over the shower curtain with pubic hairs on it. When we let management know they offered us water??? There is a sign in the room that says no discounts or refunds after paying so be sure to check your room THOROUGHLY before you pay--the sign is inside the room though so by the time you know this policy you've already paid. They claim to offer dinner but gave us some Halloween candies, a mini Gatorade and a cliff bar. When we booked we were told we'd have a cabin. When we arrived the management said (and this is truly not an exaggeration) that they had already given away the cabin because the other guest riding the Pan Mass Challenge had finished first--he also let us know he gave them a discount yet we were charged over $300 for a run down single room. I don't know if management knows the Pan Mass is a fundraising event for cancer research (though I did explain this over the phone when begging they honor the reservation we made) but to be told that the other rider got the cabin because they were faster is ableist, disrespectful, and frankly deplorable from both a hospitality and moral standpoint. We only stayed here because it's difficult to find bookings for the Pan Mass weekend and this was all that was left after Mass Maritime camping was unavailable due to Covid precautions. We would have been just as comfortable sleeping in our car. Update! Since posting this review my mother who booked the room was contacted by the management not with an apology or refund but a message saying my review is "out of line." As reviews are about honest feedback I will not be taking it down though of course I hope they are able to refurbish the place and turn it into a functional facility you cannot expect to charge guests $300+ for a single night in an unclean room without feedback.
