We chose this hotel as we decided to disembark from our cruise ship due to hurricane Irma. As people on the ship were panicking to reschedule their flights, we decided to get off the ship in Cozumel, Riviera Maya, Mexico, took ferry and stayed in Cancun.
I booked this hotel from my hilton honors website, thank God. I used my HHonors points and the hotel itself is inexpensive US$89/ night for 2 adults to US$112 per night for 4 adults.
The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Victor was one of the staffs that helped us to bring our luggages to our room. He also helped us to find the tour to Xcaret, he arranged the transportation and the tickets (all inclusive with buffet), it's cheaper than if we book it ourself, and we have to find the transportation/ taxi (it can cost US$60 - US$75 or Mex$1,080 - 1350)
The hotel was newly build, just opened for 4 months. Very clean and modern. It's in a plaza complex, there is Walmart (under the name of Superama Cumbres); inside this Superama Supermarket, you'll find 2 ATMs that you can withdraw money (for AMEX, and for VISA/Cirrus). There are also a lot of restaurants and Starbucks in the complex and across the hotel.
Free hot breakfast in the morning from 6 am to 10 am. They serves cereals, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, sausage/bacons, fish with bell peppers, fruits, etc. The menu of the hot foods differ everyday.
The AC at the lobby and breakfast area was very cold, the room AC on the contrary was not that cold, because you have to insert your card key in order to turn on the lights and AC.
The hotel provides free wife and there are also 2-3 computers at the hotel lobby, so we can check our emails, browsing, and printing boarding pass.
It has a small outdoor swimming pool to cool off.
I am grateful to stayed in this hotel knowing that I was in a good hand and being served with Hilton's standard. read more
