Super convenient location, this Hampton is located immediately next to the Budapester Platz U-Bahn station* that is only one stop away from the Hauptbahnhof (or you could walk, but I had luggage). The building is also shared with the Premier Inn but they have separate entrances and separate levels in the underground parking garage.
Two nights, I had a very clean and quiet room on a higher floor. There was absolutely no noise from the hallway, from neighbors or from outside. I had a view of the train station and that too was insulated by the windows.
Comfortable bed but again, this weird half door thing for the shower that I still don't understand. The water goes on the floor and the cold air goes into the shower. Come on, Europe.
Wifi worked well. European power outlets at the desk and bedside, but I had brought my adapter with me.
Possibly the best breakfast I've seen at a Hampton especially considering that it is included as all breakfasts are at Hamptons. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, a variety of juices, fresh (!) breads, yogurts, sliced deli meats and cheeses. The European thing with separate pots of grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and baked beans. Fresh jams, great butter. Just an absolutely impressive spread.
* If there is step free to the platform from the hotel, I couldn't find it. It's two flights of stairs, outside. In the cold rain.
