We were not able to get accommodations and we're given a list of local hotels from across the Stuttgart area. We put out emails to our top 3, but only Hotel Bohler responded. This hotel is run by Manuel and his wife Melinda. They have an awesome staff that treated us like family from Day 1! When we arrived they had dairy-and egg-free bread for two of our boys. One of the staff members went out of her way to bake a allergy-friendly breakfast cake so they could enjoy breakfast like other guests. As for the rooms themselves, fantastic! We occupied 2 rooms, but there was a door that essentially made it a suite. The bathrooms were stellar and included full-size tubs. We had a range of channels, to include BBC and some kids channels. Wi-fi was perfect! As for the location, there is a bakery across the street and you're within a 5 minute walk to an Italian restaurant, a doner kebab place, and the Brauhaus. There are 2 parks also within a 15 minute walk depending on the length of your child's legs. We hope to stay again on our way out of Stuttgart!

The rooms are clean and each one is different which makes for a unique stay. The beds are very comfortable and amenities are very much top quality. The staff are friendly and also speak English which helps when your still learning German. They are also helpful with navigating around Böblingen and the Baden Wartenburg state. No matter if breakfast is included in your rate or not, I would recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. Manuel and his staff really do make every effort to make you feel like old friends or family

The mattresses and blankets on the beds were really comfortable even if they were narrow. Great water pressure in the showers and consistent hot water. The breakfast was basically the same every day but it offered enough variety that I wasn't tired of it after 6 days and the breads were actually very high quality, just as good or better as I've been getting at nice restaurants and bakeries in this region.

The reason for 4 stars is it was extremely noisy every day, all day. I eventully had to go to another hotel where I had friends staying to be able to sleep then returned to my room during the day. Also the room including bathroom was extremely small not at all the same in the pictures. I was lucky that I could turn in the shower and Im a petite girl, my husband struggled.

Completely overpriced, and definitely not a 4-star hotel, but a scam!…read more I booked two "comfort" double rooms with King sized bed. The corridor outside the room smelled rather unpleasant. When we opened the door to the room we were shocked to find a large white empty room, with one king-sized bed in the corner next to the window. There was no sofa / table for lounging, there was not desk, there was no chair -- not even a telephone in the room. It looked very unpleasant, like a hospital room. There were also no towels in the bathroom. We immediately cancelled. Don't waste your money on the Dormero - there are better options nearby.

Super convenient location, this Hampton is located immediately next to the Budapester Platz U-Bahn…read morestation* that is only one stop away from the Hauptbahnhof (or you could walk, but I had luggage). The building is also shared with the Premier Inn but they have separate entrances and separate levels in the underground parking garage. Two nights, I had a very clean and quiet room on a higher floor. There was absolutely no noise from the hallway, from neighbors or from outside. I had a view of the train station and that too was insulated by the windows. Comfortable bed but again, this weird half door thing for the shower that I still don't understand. The water goes on the floor and the cold air goes into the shower. Come on, Europe. Wifi worked well. European power outlets at the desk and bedside, but I had brought my adapter with me. Possibly the best breakfast I've seen at a Hampton especially considering that it is included as all breakfasts are at Hamptons. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, a variety of juices, fresh (!) breads, yogurts, sliced deli meats and cheeses. The European thing with separate pots of grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and baked beans. Fresh jams, great butter. Just an absolutely impressive spread. * If there is step free to the platform from the hotel, I couldn't find it. It's two flights of stairs, outside. In the cold rain.
