I love the fact that the gym was on the same floor that I was on which made it very convenient for me to go work out every day. I do not know how that parking situation was, but I heard people say they ran out of space. Overall a nice place and super convenient.

The nightstands are attached to the wall on the outside of the beds so there's no way to separate them. Most people renting rooms with two beds do so because they don't want to sleep that close to the person they're rooming with. The nightstand should be between the beds or movable.

Overall, service was very good during my trip. My room itself was standard but comfortable. I like that you are able to opt out of daily housekeeping in exchange for a drink voucher at their bar. Wish this was more common in the US! The hotel breakfast buffet is also very good. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it gives you everything you need to start your day right. The parking garage has a few narrow areas, which made parking with our seven-seat rental van a little difficult. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a standard sized vehicle. My colleagues and I really enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Stuttgart.

Price with breakfast was more than reasonable for a single with its own bathroom. I had 25, the modern room, and slept like a baby. Had dinner the first night on the patio. Extensive wine list but you can't go wrong with the wines by the glass--the Trollinger mit Lemberger was superb. Dinner was unhurried, our server was charming Nd the owner checked in on us to make sure we were happy. Breakfast was thing that dreams are made of. Everything you can imagine-bread, cheese, meats, fruits, salads, cereals, eggs and a mind-boggling selection of teas and fresh juices. We weren't hungry either day until dinner rolled around Neighborhood safe and clean. Parking always a challenge in a city but circle the block-you should find a spot. Just a few minutes walk to a park and a local biergarten and only about 20 mon drive to the US installations

I would absolutely stay here again if I returned to the area. The hotel is located within a 20 minute walk of the main train station. This is Motel One Stuttgart-Mitte, NOT Motel One Stuttgart-HBF so pay attention to the locations. They're fairly close to one another. The hotel is also accessible via an underground tunnel that connects directly to public transport and the train station, which would be so nice in bad weather. Note that the tunnels are very, very twisty and confusing, and it's way too easy to get lost trying to navigate them. For this reason, we always opted to walk "above ground" when going to and from our hotel and the train station. I found a great deal here by booking directly with the hotel, and I was impressed with the pre-arrival communication. I had plenty of clear, detailed e-mails from the hotel about my check-in and other processes well beforehand. When we arrived, our room was ready. The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful, and she spoke good English. It's a challenge to communicate in German sometimes, but we did our best. The lobby is very nice with a bar and restaurant that felt swanky yet comfortable. We were also offered complimentary fruit-flavored water upon check-in. Our room was a standard one, and it was sparse but very clean and comfortable. We had a double room that had two twin beds pushed together to make one "big" bed (typical in Europe). Each bed had crisp, white linens and an individual duvet which was so nice! There was a small open "closet" area as well as a desk and chair. I was excited because our large windows opened so we could see the street below. The room had a ballet theme with photos of dancers on the wall and thoughtful reading lamps by the headboard. The hotel designer certainly made the most use of the space available. The bathroom was my favorite: clean, modern, and user-friendly. We had a full bathroom en suite, so no walking down the hall! The hotel is located in a bustling business district, so there was tons of activity day and night. I never felt unsafe walking around, and there was always somebody nearby. We even walked all over the city from here (the largest Christmas market was about 15 minutes away on foot). Depending on what you are in town to do and see, this would be a terrific location for just about anything in Stuttgart proper! There are shops and restaurants steps away, too. I highly recommend this hotel! It may not be luxurious or fancy, but it's very comfortable, friendly, and affordable.
